Chapter 26: Surprise

  Today is the day my stores open. I'm so excited. Caroline honked the horn as I pulled my purse over my shoulder.
"Bye!" I yelled as I opened the door.
"Good luck!" They yelled. I closed the door and walked to the car.
"Hey preggers." Caroline said.
"Hey girl." I said as I fastened my seatbelt.
"You excited?"
"I'm stiked!"
"Let's do this!" She drove off.

  Clearing the shelves took longer than we thought. It's actually summer not spring. And that means in due very soon. We walked in and I set my coffee in the counter.
"Willa, Caroline, opening in 10." Shay said.
"K." I said.
"I can't believe this is happening." Caroline says.
"It's only our dream." I was wearing a GWLWG shirt. This is absolutely crazy. Our Products are going in the selves. We have sold some limited time only and those sold well. I can't wait to see these results.

Sales have picked up enormously. I'm so happy and proud of my team. I really couldn't ask for better teammates. They have worked so hard and we have come a long way. Good job guys. I've been traveling from store to store all day. I'm ready to just go home.
"I'll see you tomorrow." Caroline told me as I got out of the car.
"Tell Jc I said hey."
"Will do." I closed the door and walked up to the door. I opened it.
"Surprise!" Everyone yelled. It was the shittiest baby shower I've ever seen. But I didn't care.
"Oh my gosh! Thank you guys!" I said.
"Your welcome." Connor hugged me.
"You are gonna pop soon and we couldn't let you go without a baby Shower." Caroline says.
"You knew!" I poked her.
"Yeah." She laughed.
"This is amazing, thank you guys!"
"Hey Willa, we invited Cameron, Nash, and Hayes." Kian introduced up.
"Hey." They said.
"Hi."
"And this is Jenn." Ricky introduced us.
"Hi."
"Nice to meet you." Jenn said. In the corner of my eye I spotted a asshole.
"Kian can I talk to you?"
"Yup. What's up?"
"Why is Sam here?"
"Sam...Sam... Yeah he's here."
"Why?"
"Shouldn't he be invited to his baby's baby shower?"
"The showers are met for girls anyway."
"You live guys, Willa, the rules are different."
"Get rid of him."
"You want me to evict him from his baby's baby shower?"
"Yes. Go!" I pushed him in Sam's direction.
"Hey, moms couldn't make it but we're here." Mariana said.
"Thanks for coming." We hugged.
"Yeah." They went to talk to the 'famous' people.

  I was opening gifts When I got to the guys'.
"Hope you like it." Connor said.
"I'm sure I will." I open a bag that has another gift inside of it and some diapers. I take the other gift out and unwrapped it. I started to cry. It was a picture of my boys. Even Sam.
"Thank you guys!" I hugged them.
"We're your guys, Willa, and your our girl. And we love you." Connor said.
"You guys are amazing." I hesitated to hug Sam but I didn't want to cause a scene. Sam handed me an envelope. Nothing like child support money as a baby shower gift. I opened more gifts and thanked a lot more people. There was a knock at the door and Jc answered it.
"Awwwww! Jake is here!" Jc yelled. No. No. Not right now.
"Bonita! Sorry I'm late." He hugged me.
"Hey, Red, what are you doing here?"
"I was invited." He says.
"That's great. Thanks for coming."
"Is that Jake from State Farm?" Jc asked Kian.
"Yup." They laughed.
"Here." Red gave me a bag.
"I figured everyone would be giving diapers so I got wipes." He says.
"Oh really?" Thank you!"
"De nada."
"The truck is unloading."
"They what?" I ask.
"Unloading." Jc is busting up. There is a semi truck outside unloading baby wipes.... Just don't ask. Red kissed my cheek.
"How are you too feeling?"
"I'm ready to pop." I say.
"I will tell you I'm going to be out of time for a while next week."
"Oh ok. Where are you going?"
"I'm going to Africa. I'm volunteering."
"That's great Red!"
"It makes me feel less wealthy. In a good way." Uh huh...
"I'll make some friends." He walked by. Kian walked over and held his hand out. I gripped it and he helped me up.
"You look like fat Albert." He says.
"Thanks, you too."
"That one took 2 whole minutes, Willa!" He complained.
"I congratulate you." I slow clapped. He smiled and followed me into the kitchen. I grabbed a fork and ate down watermelon.
"Who's gonna watch him when your at work."
"You guys." I chewed.
"I'm sorry. Come again."
"I signed you guys up for a class. It a week long and I'm due in a week." I rubbed my belly.
"Willa I know nothing!"
"That's exactly why your going."
"I have a job."
"Please, you upload once a week. You guys just take turns. It's only from 8-5. I promise you'll survive."
"Ugh!" He walked away.
"Could I feel him?" Sam walked over. I shrugged. He put a hand in my stomach.
"He's a kicker." He says.
"He's a MMA fighter." I say. He didn't say anything and walked away.
"Hey preggers." Caroline sat in the counter.
"Hey."  She ate a piece of melon.
"I need a nap." I say.
"You want me to get rid of them?" She asked.
"Eh."

After about another hour they guys were kicking people out. Caroline and Jc were asleep on the couch. I walked over and hugged Connor.
"Thank you guys so much." I say.
"Absolutely." He hugged me back.
"We're tired. We'll see you in the morning." Connor let go and walked upstairs, as well as the other guys. Ricky closed his door and I walked over to wake up Caroline and Jc.
"Hey." I softly kicked Caroline.
"What?" She groaned.
"You guys go home." Jc patted her leg.
"I'm tired." She says.
"Come on." Jc picked her up and they closed the door. It was just me. I picked up the blanket they had left on the floor. I folded it and threw it on the couch. I re arranged the pillows and put the cake in the fridge.
"Hey." I turned around to see Red in the doorway.
"Hey." I say. He walked over.
"What is your plan. With us?" He asked. I haven't even thought about.
"I'm not ready to get into a relationship, until he's born." I say.
"I understand." He says. He rubbed my shoulders.
"I hope I get to meet your brother some day." He kissed my forehead.
"Me too."
