Phoenix Drop

Hey guys! So I don't know how much you guys like my book so I don't know how long to make the chapters... Anyway, If you like the story, comment below that you do and I will continue the story! Also, this is a rather long chapter compared to the last one.

GARROTH'S POV

Her warm hands wrapped around my waist. I had always dreamed of me an Aphmau doing something like this. Riding with each other, her hands wrapped around me. I sighed.

I had almost given up hope on Aphmau. I know that I am not as straight forward as Laurence, but I am not so hidden that she wouldn't be able to tell. I just don't know what to do next.

"Are we almost there?" A strong voice asked from behind me. I jumped. I had forgotten about (E/C) riding with me.

"Umm, yeah. Just a minute or two." I responded.

"Why were you so far away from your village? If you're the head guard and your Lord is away, then why were you by that lake?"

"I like to go there to think. I was just thinking when I saw you. I guess you just caught me off guard." I replied in a wavered voice. What was she doing to me? I only get like this around Aphmau...

"Garroth, we're here." Dante shouted.

"Great! Umm, (E/C)," I turned around in the saddle,"our village has a lot of people, so, try not to get over whelmed."

"Mmm, okay. I understand. I came from a pretty big village myself."

"Oh, really? Which one?" I questioned further. I was going to find out who she was before letting her in Phoenix Drop.

She wavered, trying to decide to tell me or not. "Umm, I'm from Thurmond."

YOUR POV

As soon as I said that I was from Thurmond, his face went white. Did I say something wrong? "Umm, Garroth are you okay?" He shakes his head and the color returns to his face. "I wonder what that was all about?"

"Brian, open the gates."

A young man in armor opened the village's gate. I looked at the magnificent wall. It was giant! Not as big as Thurmond's wall but, it was still pretty big. We rode into what must be the town's plaza.

Dante and Garroth both got off their horses. Garroth offered me his hand. I gladly accepted it. Garroth talked with a man who took their horses to a tall building, probably the guard tower. Garroth lead me to a large purple house on a hill. It stood alone. "This must be the Lord's house, Aphmau's house".

Garroth led me down to the basement. There were five adorable dogs sitting against the wall. Dante opened a door on the right and went in. Garroth held the door open as I went through. "He's such a gentleman! Any girl would be lucky to have him!"I thought as I stepped into the room. There was a bed in the corner and a table and chair by a large window. There sat a man with light brown hair.

"Laurence! What are you doing here?!"

The man named Laurence turned around at the sound of Garroth's voice. "Oh, hey Garroth..." He started, he looked me up and down, "Who's the lady?"
