YOUR POV

I woke up to the beeping of a machine.

"Mmhh," I moaned. I heard a small cheer as people around me laughed and then left the room. I opened my eyes.

I felt wires and tubes going all over my face. A mask covered my mouth and nose. It had a large tube connected to an oxygen tank on the left side of my bed. An IV ran from my arm to a bag with a clear liquid that was hanging next to my bed.

I tried to sit up put I couldn't. I tried again but I still couldn't. I closed my eyes with tiredness from attempting to sit up.

I heard the door open and someone run over to me. I opened my eyes again.

"G- Garr..." I started to say.

"Shh, (E/C), are you alright?" Garroth asked in a concerned voice.

I tried to nod but the oxygen mask prevented me from it.

"W-What h-happened?" I asked in a wavered voice. I could tell it was hard to understand me through the mask but Garroth managed.

"We were riding back home, to Phoenix Drop, on our horse, and you fainted and fell off."

"Oh... well where are we now?"

"In the Scaleswind hospital, where you had your ultra-sound."

"Oh, okay. Garroth, I'm tired."

"Okay, I'll just stay over there watching T.V. while you sleep, okay?"

"Mkay..." I replied sleepily. They probably had drugged me. Now, I just had to sleep it off. My eyelids felt heavy as I fell asleep to the sound of Garroth's breathing, and the T.V.

GARROTH'S POV

Thank Irene that (E/C) was okay. I flipped through the channels on the T.V. but I couldn't concentrate on any of them. I had to make sure that (E/C) was okay. She was my fiancé after all. Wow. That felt weird. (E/C) was my fiancé now.

I looked over to where she was sleeping. She had a couple scrapes and bruises from the fall, but nothing to serious. Other than she didn't wake up for three hours after we arrived at the hospital.

I was so worried that she wouldn't wake up. That I would never see her sparkling (E/C) eyes ever again. Thank Irene that she woke up. I looked over to the clock. It read 5:15. I better tell Laurence that we wouldn't be home tonight.

I reached into my pocket. I pulled out a communication amulet that Laurence and I have had ever sense we trusted each other with our lives. The purple stone shone in the television's light.

"Laurence?"

"Garroth? Hey man! How's it going? Did she say yes?"

"Not going so well. And yeah, she said yes."

"Not going well?"

"On our way back to Phoenix Drop, (E/C) fainted off the horse and now we're stuck in the Scaleswind hospital."

"What?!? Is the baby okay?"

"Umm, I think so. Also, (E/C)'s having twins!"

"WHAT?!?! That's great man! Anyway, I'll be there in a couple hours after I tell Aphmau everything."

"Wait! Laurence! Don't come!"

There was no response. I stuffed the amulet back into my pocket while I grumbled, "Classic Laurence...."

"Garroth, who are you talking to?"

I jumped. "Oh! (E/C)! You're awake! Sorry if I woke you up. I was talking to Laurence. He'll be here in a couple hours to see how you're doing."

(E/C) smiled. "That was nice of him to offer to come up here, but I don't want him to go out of his way to come see me."

"I tried telling him, but he insisted. Also, he knows about the twins."

"Okay. UGHH! I hate this. I feel so restricted. I can't even nod!" (E/C) said angrily.

I chuckled and walked over to her bedside. I bent over and gave her a kiss on the cheek and then sat down on the chair next to her bed.

"I hope the twins are okay..." (E/C) grumbled as she rubbed her stomach. "If it wasn't for my clumsiness, we would be back home right now..."

"Don't blame yourself for this! You can't control if you faint or not."

She giggled and I smiled. It was nice to have her back.

A doctor walked into the room with a clipboard and hung it on the end of (E/C)'s bed.

"(E/C), we're going to have to take you in for another ultra-sound to make sure that the twins are okay."

"Okay..."

"Can I come with?" I interrupted them both.

He looked over at me. "What is your relationship with her?"

"I'm her fiancé."

"Fine, you may come along. Now, (E/C), we are going to put you in a wheelchair to transport you to the room."

The doctor grabbed a wheelchair out from behind the door and brought it up to (E/C)'s bedside. I picked her up (bride style!) and gently placed her down in the wheelchair.

The doctor led us through the confusing hallways. I insisted on pushing her there and the doctor finally gave in after I asked for the fourth time.

The doctor pushed open the door to the room and I pushed (E/C) in...
