YOUR POV

"It's so pretty."

"Yeah, do you want to go for a swim?"

I laughed. "How am I going to swim? I can wade in and watch you swim."

Garroth smiled and pulled his shirt over his head. Oh gosh. I had seen him without a shirt before... but this was different.

"Are you just going to go swimming in your shorts?" I questioned him.

He shrugged, his muscles gleaming in the sun. "I guess. Why not?"

I felt my face warm up slightly. "Why am I blushing? Garroth's almost my husband. I can look at him like that with it being okay, can't I?"

Garroth stood up and offered me his hand.

I gladly took it, and he helped me to my feet. I was wearing shorts (so I didn't have to roll up any pants), and an emerald green maternity shirt. I waded in and let out a little shriek as the cold water snuck up my feet.

Garroth squeezed my hand and we walked in a little farther. The cold water went up to my knees now, and the top of Garroth's calves.

"It's so cold!" I shrieked in delight.

Garroth laughed. Another shriek came, but not from me.

GARROTH'S POV

A shriek sounded over the waves in the water. "Eeek! Daddy! It's cold! The water's scary Daddy!"

I looked over to see a little girl about 4, run over to her father, hugging his legs tight. He chuckled and bent down to pick her up. She smiled at him. "You know I'll always be there for you sunshine. Do you want me to go in with you?"

The girl nodded excitedly. "Yeah! Ready?"

Her father set her down and she grabbed his finger and ran to the shore line.

I smiled. Someday, my little girl and I will do that. With Finn too.

(Y/n) and I watched from the distance, my arms around her, her head leaning on my shoulder.

"Okay, I'm ready." The father said. The little girl stuck a toe in. Her father bent down and splashed some water on her. She squealed in happiness.

"Daddy!" She bent down and splashed his legs.

I squeezed (y/n)'s hand and she looked up at me. She leaned in and gave me a kiss on the cheek. When she pulled back I put my hand on her jaw and kissed her lightly on the lips.

When I pulled back, she said "Garroth, I love you. I want to be with you for the rest of my life. I want to be with you forever."

I felt a hitch in my breath. "I do too. I love you more than you could ever know."

A piece of silver hair fell over her eye as she looked down and hugged me. I hugged her back. We stood like that for a while before we went on the docks and dried off. We had left our stuff at the castle, so we headed there.

YOUR POV

We walked towards the castle in silence.

"So, what do you want to do next (Y/n)?"

"I don't know. If you don't mind, I kind of want to hang out with Nicole... and of course Zane. See what they're up to."

He nodded. "That's a great idea. I need to talk to Zane about some things."

I punched him lightly on the shoulder. "Hey, go easy on the guy. He doesn't need "The Talk"."

Garroth blushed and turned away.

I placed my hand on his jaw lightly, and pulled it towards me. I landed a soft kiss on his lips. When I pulled away, he was blushing even harder.

"I love you Garroth."

"I love you (y/n)."

With that we made our way into the castle.

GARROTH'S POV

As (Y/n) and I walked through the front entrance, I remember how I felt when I first brought her here to meet my father. Dread, of what he was going to do to us.

Our steps echoed through the hollow halls. We stopped at Zane's room's door, and I knocked. I heard a murmur of surprise.

"Garroth..." (y/n) whispered.

I turned to her. "Yeah?"

"Garroth, please tell me you know someone who likes to dress in full black and carries a big black bag."

"Umm... No, why?"

(Y/n) pointed a shaky finger in front of us. "That's why."

I turned around to see someone completely dressed in black, staring at us. He had a black sack slung over his shoulders.

"(Y/n), you can see him too, right? I'm not seeing things?"

(Y/n) slowly nodded, as a smirk came across the man's face.

"I see him too."

We started backing up until I felt a bump. When I turned around, the cold stone wall met my gaze.

"Garroth..." (Y/n)'s voice shook with fright.

The stranger continued towards us, and I pulled out my sword. Except my sword wasn't there. I had left it with my other stuff in my room. Which was past the man.

The man hadn't spoken a word yet, just continued to come towards us.

I heard a click, but didn't pay any attention to it. I was too busy trying to figure out a way to escape. (Y/n) was pressed against the wall right next to me. I shakily grabbed her hand. I was trying to brave, but that's kind of hard when there's a sword being held to your throat.
