Sick Day (Part 1)

~TWO~WEEKS~LATER~

A warm hand was gently wrapped around my waist.

"Mm... Garroth? We need to get up." I mumbled. I turned over and faced Garroth.

"Hmm? Go back to sleep (Y/n)..." Garroth's hand tightened on my waist and pulled me closer.

I giggled. "Garroth, we're leaving for Okasis today. Come on." I sat up and looked down at Garroth who was frowning up at me.

"Agh. I don't want to get up. I'm not feeling so well."

"Huh? Are okay? Do you have a fever? Does your stomach hurt? What did you do t-"

"(Y/n)! Calm down."

"Sorry, it's the mom part of me..."

He chuckled. "As for your questions, my stomach does hurt along with a headache. If it's alright with you and the other two, I'm going to stay in bed until we leave. See if I feel any better by the time we leave..."

"Okay. I'll go make sure that Dante and Kawaii~Chan have all their stuff packed."

I stood up and pulled on some jeans and a cute maternity shirt. I walked over to Kawaii~Chan and Dante's room and knocked.

A tired Kawaii~Chan opened the door with Nekoette in her arms.

"Hmm? (Y/n)~Senpai? What are you doing here?"

"I was just making sure you had everything packed up. Garroth isn't feeling well and is going to stay in bed until we leave if it's okay with you two."

"Of course! Does his stomach hurt? Does Garroth~Kun have a temp-"

"I already checked, Kawaii~Chan." I laughed.

"(Y/n), what are you doing here?" Dante walked up behind Kawaii~Chan with a few bags in his hands.

"Umm, I live here."

"Haha. I meant our room."

"Garroth isn't feeling too well. So we'll probably leave in about an hour."

"Oh, okay."

"I'm going to go talk to Aphmau before we leave, so I'll see you guys in an hour, I guess."

I turned and climbed downstairs. I exited the guard station and headed towards Aphmau's house.

I climbed up the hill leading to her house.

By the time I was at the top, I was huffing and puffing.

The twins really take me out of it...

I knocked and a worried looking Aphmau answered the door.

"Hmm? Oh, (Y/n)? Why are you here?"

"Just wanted to check in with you before Garroth and I head for Okasis with Kawaii~Chan and Dante."

"Oh. Yeah, come on in."

I stepped inside.

"Would you like something to drink?"

I smiled. "No, thanks. Aphmau, you look worried. What's wrong?"

She frowned. "It's just... Laurence caught a really bad sickness. He's been puking all morning. When he first woke up, he just said it was his stomach and head, but then a little bit later, he was running towards the bathroom every ten minutes."

"Oh my Irene! Is he okay?"

She bit her bottom lip. "I think so. I hope so..." She said the last part more to herself.
