The Escape

YOUR POV

When I opened my eyes, I figured it to be around 7 in the morning. I yawned and stretched. Kawaii~Chan was up, sitting on the ground, next to the door.

"Oh! Good morning (E/C)~Senpai! Aphmau~Senpai is up, but Laurence~Kun is still sleeping."

"Thanks Kawaii~Chan. Oh my gosh, Kawaii~Chan, can I please have the bucket..." She tossed me the bucket and I threw-up the little bit of food that was left in my stomach.

When I was done, I wiped my mouth with the back of my hand. Aphmau gave me a sympathetic look, causing her ears to twitch. She smiled at me and waved with her tail.

I laughed and got out of bed. I walked up to the bars. I needed to get out of here. I was getting claustrophobic in this room. I grabbed something on the desk and threw it at the bars.

A green light flashed across the bars. As I moved closer to them, I felt their energy. I reached out to touch them, but a little green bolt zapped me, right before I could touch the bars.

I yanked back my arm. "Ow..." I mumbled to myself.

"(E/C)~Senpai! Don't go near those! Kawaii~Chan thinks that she heard Laurence~Kun tell Aphmau~Senpai that they have a special barrier magkics! One to stop (E/C)~Senpai and Laurence~Kun from going all shadow-knight on the cells."

"Oh," I replied bluntly,

"If I want to get out of here, I have to get mad..."

"Kawaii~Chan, do something to get me mad."

"But (E/C)~Senpai..."

"Just do it!"

"Fine, fine! Uhh... Garroth is SOOO hot. Just look at his abs! Then again, Dante~Kun's abs are bigger..."

"Kawaii~Chan..."

She smirked. "And Dante~Kun definitely did better in guard training then Garroth~Kun. Garroth~Kun was raised in a palace like a little princess!"

"KAWAII~CHAN..." I felt my hands growing hot. I looked down and saw them turning red.

"You know, Dante~Kun is MUCH hotter than Garroth~Kun. He's, much stronger too..."

"KAWAII~CHAN!!!" My hands formed a flaming ball and I smiled. Kawaii~Chan sure knew what buttons to push. I chucked the ball towards the bars, only to have to duck, to dodge it. It bounced of the bars and crashed into the bed. The bed instantly disintegrated.

"(E/C)~Senpai! Now where are we going to sleep tonight?!" Kawaii~Chan said. I shrugged sheepishly.

"How about in your own beds?" A voice sounded from behind us. Kawaii~Chan and I turned around, but I already knew who it was.

"Garroth! Oh my gosh!" I ran up to the bars. I got a little to close and the green light zapped me again. "Agh! It burns!"

"(E/C), are you okay?" Garroth ran up to the bars. He wasn't effected by them.

"Kawaii~Chan, can you see if you're effected by the barrier?"

"Sure, (E/C)~Senpai, I'll just risk my life for your little..." I didn't have time for a speech, so I pushed her into the bars.

"OW! (E/C)~Senpai! That hurt... wait, Kawaii~Chan isn't effected by the light!"

"Yeah..." I grumbled, "Only shadow-knights are affected by it..."

"Kawaii~Chan, (E/C), stand back. I'll try to break the barrier with my magiks..."

A voice interrupted him, "Garroth, YOU HAVE MAGIKS?!?" Aphmau eyes were huge.

"Oh yeah! He learned he has magiks back in Okasis. Garroth, do you know how to control it though?"

He rubbed his temples, "If I concentrate, I might be able to."

Everyone was quite while Garroth tried to concentrate. His eyes were squeezed tight. Finally, after a few minutes, his eyes un-tensed.

"Garroth..."

His arms dropped to his side and he looked up at me. "I'm sorry... It's not working."

"It's okay, Garroth. Just..."

"No. It's NOT okay (E/C). I need to get you out of there..." He punched the barrier over and over.

"Garroth, I don't think that's going to work..." Suddenly, the green light that normally showed, turned blue. Garroth held a smirk on his face, but continued to punch the glass. I stared at him as he concentrated on punching the barrier.

Suddenly, a ear-shattering glass sound caused us all to duck and cover our ears. When I stood up, mine and Kawaii~Chan's barrier had broken into glass like pieces that were scattered across the floor. Laurence woke up to the sound. He went straight to his feet and grabbed Aphmau, as if to protect her.

Aphmau laughed and Laurence took in his surroundings. "Oh..."

We all laughed while Garroth stood there with a massive grin on his face.

"Garroth, get to work on Aphmau and Laurence's cell and I'll break Kawaii~Chan and I out of here..."

He nodded and got to work on the other barrier. Aphmau just stood there, wrapped in Laurence's arms still, amazed at our teamwork.

"Man, once (E/C) is a guard, we'll be unstoppable!" I heard Aphmau say to Garroth. I saw him smile as he continued to punch their barrier.

I closed my eyes so I could concentrate. I blocked all the sound out and concentrated on what Kawaii~Chan had said earlier to get me angry.

"Garroth is SOOO hot. Just look at his abs! Then again, Dante~Kun's abs are bigger..."

"Kawaii~Chan..."

I felt my hands hot and could feel an item between them. Without opening my eyes, I threw the flaming ball at the bars once more. When I opened my eyes, the bars had been melted through. It created a large hole for Kawaii~Chan and I to escape through. The ends of the bars were still red from being so warm.

"Whoa. (E/C)~Senpai, remind me to NEVER get on your bad side! (E/C)~Senpai is floating!"

I had been too concentrated to notice that I had been hovering 2 feet over the ground. My head was almost hitting the ceiling.

The flaming ball had also gone through Aphmau and Laurence's cell bars.

After a while, I calmed down. I floated back to the floor, where Garroth stood. When I felt the ground under my feet, my knees immediately buckled. Luckily, Garroth caught me. He picked me up (bridal style!) and carried me over to the chests that were sitting to the left of Aphmau's (and Laurence's) cell.

We all gathered our stuff and put our armor back on. We snuck up the stairs. Laurence showed us the way to the door and we got out the door with no problem.

We got to the main plaza area.

"Laurence, where do we go now?"

Before he could answer, an odd voice was heard above all the rest.

"Laurence? Where is that stupid face of his?"
