Girl's Day... Again? (Part 3)

I smiled at Serina who was also smiling.

"Okay, I guess."

Serina and I followed Kawaii~Chan out of the stables and over to the tavern.

"Ooh! Papa!" Serina yelped and ran over to the man behind the counter.

"S-Serina? Baby doll? How've ya been?"

Kawaii~Chan and I stood in the background until Serina motioned to us to come over.

"Papa, these are my friends, (Y/n) and Kawaii~Chan."

The man before us stood behind the tender's counter. He wore casual clothing. His eyes twinkled with delight to see Serina again, I could tell.

"Pleasure to meet you, (Y/n), and Kawaii~Chan."

I saw him look over me a couple times.

"Who's the baby's father?"

I was taken aback by his question.

"U-Umm, excuse me?"

"Your baby. Who's the father?"

"U-Umm... my fiancé. Why?"

He nicked in disgust. "You're so young. Not even married... shame."

I frowned and shifted from foot to foot.

"Dad!" Serina hissed.

Her father put his hands up in surrender.

"What? I was just stating my opinion! Now, what can I get you lovely ladies today?"

"Umm, I'll just have a lemonade, please." I requested uncomfortably.

"Kawaii~Chan would like a lemonade too."

"Alright, coming right up. What do you want sweetie pie?"

"I'll have a root beer, dad."

He clicked his tongue again, but filled a glass and handed it to Serina.

"Fine, but only one drink Serina, sweetie." He looked up and inspected Serina. "Why have been crying honey?"

Serina looked up from her drink and stared at her father. "The exact reason I need a drink." She sipped from her drink and frowned. "It's Vincent. He's being... frustrating... again."

"Aye. I told you not to date him Serina."

"I know, Daddy... but I like him... I really do!"

"I know, sweetheart." He turned to Kawaii~Chan and I who had sat down next to Serina, watching silently. "So, where are you two from?"

"Phoenix Drop! Kawaii~Chan and (y/n)~Senpai are originally from Okasis and Thurmond!"

"Kawaii~Chan!" I hissed.

If he had recognized my name at all, he didn't show it.

"Aye. How did you meet Serina?"

"Serina~Chan came to Phoenix Drop and was helping out around the village! She helped Kawaii~Chan make a cake!"

Serina's father chuckled. "That sounds like Serina."

Serina smiled at her father and took another drink.

"Yeah... Kawaii~Chan's recipes are AMAZING! The frosting is the best part though."

Kawaii~Chan giggled. "Serina~Chan is exaggerating! Kawaii~Chan's cakes are not that good."
