AARON'S POV

This girl was creeping me out.

I watched as Aphmau glared at Melody.

I secretly slipped her hand into mine. I gently squeezed her hand.

She gave a small smile, but she was still focused on our two enemies.

"So," Melody started. "Do you want to do this the easy way or the hard way?"

Sparks emitted from Garroth's hand.

She smirked lightly. "I'm guessing the hard way."

Garroth looked purely angry. "Or you could just leave us alone."

She sighed. "Than Gene would kill us." She rolled her eyes at us, as if we were supposed to know all this.

I had my sword out already, as did the others.

Garroth had his diamond broadsword out, blue sparks emitting from his other hand. His sword was heavier than the girl's, but I doubt that it was heavier than mine.

The sparks from his hand sizzled in the air. The air seemed to get warmer, if that was even possible.

Aphmau had a golden sword. Strong, light enough for her, but not very durable.

Andi had an emerald sword, light, not as light as Aphmau's though, strong, and durable.

And I of course had my Demonic broadsword. Heavy, durable, and strong.

Melody didn't have a weapon beside the bow on her back.

Carl had a staff, which I presumed to be magikal.

"So," Melody smirked. "Make the first move."

There was a split second where no one did anything. Then Garroth relaxed and closed his eyes. "We give up."

Melody smirked. "Alright, then drop your weapons." Garroth dropped his sword.

We all stared at him in awe.

I was the first to speak. "Garroth! What are you doing?!" I stuttered.

"Put down your weapons." Melody pulled out her bow, docked an arrow and pointed it at Aphmau. "Or she dies. And trust me. I never miss my target." She smirked.

Carl nodded. "She shot me in the butt once! It hurt!" He rubbed where the arrow must have hit him once apon a time.

Melody rolled her eyes. "You should have gotten me my strawberry cake faster!"

Carl sulked. "I'm sorry! I had to sneak into Gene's room to get it!"

They continued arguing until Melody pouted. "Fine!" She turned back to us. "Weapons. On the ground. Now."

Nobody moved.

I dropped my sword to the ground. I didn't want Aphmau to get hurt.

Aphmau and Andi did the same.

Melody smirked. "Looks like we won."

Garroth smirked back. "But the battle hasn't even begun."

"What in the Nether do you me-"

Garroth cut her off by blasting a beam of blue magik in her face. He grabbed his sword off the ground and rushed to battle with Melody.
