GARROTH'S POV

"I can't believe this is happening. I swore to myself when I ran away, I would never come back..." I complained to (E/C). We were heading to my father's "throne room".

It was really just his room. But my father insisted on calling it his throne room. A guard led us down a large hallway. I sighed. I remembered racing through these halls. My father would pick me and Zane up and would tickle us till we couldn't breathe.

I smiled. Those were the good days. My mother died and everything went black, my father lost it and Zane did everything he could to be loved. I loved Zane. I didn't love him like the way I loved (E/C), but I loved him as a brother. I don't think he knew that until I brainwashed him... literally.

We came to two large doors. The guard knocked on the door and the door was pulled open.

I looked over at (E/C). She looked back. I gave her a tight squeeze on her hand and she gave me a grin. I could tell she was nervous after us being attacked. I don't think she was still convinced my father was so nice.

I leaned over and gave her a kiss on the cheek. She smiled, and we headed through the doors.

YOUR POV

We entered through the doors. The room that we stepped into was huge. It had a crystal chandelier hanging in the middle of the room. A canopy bed sat in the middle of the back wall, with a painting of the Lord and a lady. I looked closer and saw that they were both smiling.

"Oh my gosh, that must be Garroth's mother."

Garroth saw me looking and nodded. "That's my mother."

"Now I know where you and Zane get the blue eyes from."

Garroth smiled, but I could tell it was forced. We stepped farther into the room.

"Garroth..."

"Yes... Father."

We both turned around and I saw a handsome man with full black hair and a royal robe on, like Garroth's only different colors.

Garroth bowed slightly and I did a little curtsey. When we stood back up, the man spoke.

"I see you brought a lady with you, Garroth..."

"Indeed I did, M'Lord."

"Shame if something were to happen to her."

"Father, I swear. You even TOUCH (E/C), I will hurt you." A scowl on Garroth's face told me he wasn't kidding.

The man looked offended. "I wouldn't think of it." He had a smirk on his face and Garroth was mumbling under his breath.

"Tell me, Garroth, what is you relation to this young lady?"

"She's my fiancé..." he mumbled.

"What? I couldn't hear you."

"She's my fiancé, father." Garroth replied a little louder. I could tell that his father was pushing his buttons. Garroth was remaining calm, but I could tell it was all he could do but burst out screaming. His hands were sweaty. His right hand was clenched in a fist but his left hand was firmly left in my hand.

"Garroth, calm down..." I reminded him. His grip loosened a little and he took a deep breath.

The man clucked his tongue.

"Oh, Garroth my boy, that just won't do. You will marry the princess of Thurmond, tomorrow."

Garroth grinned and looked over at me. "I would be happy to."

His father whirled around. "You'd be happy to do WUT?"

"Marry the princess of Thurmond."

Garroth's father's jaw dropped. After a couple of seconds, he regained his composure.

"But, umm, what about your fiancé here?" The man motioned to me.

Garroth looked over at me and smiled. I smiled back.

"Allow me to introduce myself, M'Lord," I said as I took a few steps, "My name is (E/C). Princess (E/C). The oldest and only daughter of Thurmond."
