The Daddy Prank

YOUR POV

"I hope Garroth and the guys will be okay." As soon as the thought crossed my mind, I pushed it out. "They'll be fine."

Kawaii~Chan had contacted me and told me that the cakes were ready and in my room. I had told Laurence that once that he and the boys had destroyed the portal, to meet me in my room with a camera and the redstone materials.

He had agreed. On top of that, I told him not to tell Garroth where he was going, or he might freak out. He understood, VERY well, that one.

I looked down the dusty path towards Phoenix Drop. This "prank" was going to be awesome!

GARROTH'S POV

I was worried. (E/C) told me she would tell me when I came home that night... I hope the twins are okay. The purple glow that flashed behind the trees brought me back to reality.

The portal was pretty strong. Black, masked, ghost-like figures hovered in front of it. Dante and Laurence had called them "shadow souls". I guess I was like the ONLY one who didn't know what a shadow soul was.

"Garroth, all you need to know right now, is that you need to destroy that portal, ASAP. Otherwise, we'll all die."

"Why didn't you guys bring picks?"

"We didn't think we would need one... now go before more shadow souls come through. Dante and I will fend off the few standing guard. Just destroy the portal completely and then burn the shale in lava."

"Okay..." Laurence nodded at Dante and they went around the corner. Soon, I heard the shrieking of the shadow souls dying. I took a deep breath and went around the corner.

There were at least ten more shadow souls that Laurence and Dante were fighting. I stood there frozen.

"GARROTH! NOW! WE CAN'T FIGHT ANY MORE THAT COME THROUGH! WE'LL BE OVERWHELMED!" Laurence screamed at me.

I jumped at his screaming and ran over to the portal. I would mine one block, to destroy the portal, and then I would help them fight the shadow souls, and then we would destroy the rest of the portal and throw it in lava. That was the plan.

I destroyed the first piece and the glow from the portal faded and eventually gave-away. I pulled out my sword. Dante and Laurence had taken down most of the shadow souls but there were a couple left. I ran over to help. With one slice, the shadow soul I was fighting withered and wisped away.

The shadow souls were all gone. Laurence's and Dante's hair was matted to their foreheads, and they were breathing heavily.

I destroyed the rest of the portal and we headed out to find some lava.

LAURENCE'S POV

"You two are getting slow on your feet! Come on guys! I know your fiancés are pregnant, but that is no reason for you to put on weight too!" I lectured them on our way to find a lava pit.

"Yes, mother." I heard Dante mumble under his breath. I smiled and turned to the two of them.

"And don't forget to eat your veggies and to always to treat pretty ladies with respect and courtesy and..."

"WE GET YOUR POINT!"Garroth shouted at me.

"I was just teasing you... what has gotten in to you Garroth?" I asked as we sat down on a couple rocks.

"I'm sorry," Garroth said as he took off his helm and wiped his forehead. "It's just, (E/C) has been getting up early with morning sickness. Plus, sense she's half shadow-knight now, she's been a little more up-tight. I wish I could get her to calm down and relax."
