Flirting Wars

YOUR POV

"How was that?"

Dante nodded. "Pretty accurate."

I smiled and collapsed onto the floor. "I'm tired."

Garroth laid down next to me. "Me too."

I turned to Garroth. "Did you ever think we would be engaged to each other that day?"

Garroth blushed a little. "Maybe not engaged, but I did think of you..."

"Aww!" Aphmau giggled. "We're going to go do archery. See ya guys later!" Aphmau waved before leaving with Aaron, Andi, and Laurence.

"We should probably go get the twins." I scooted closer to Garroth.

"Yeah. We should..."

~LATER~

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah! You're on!"

I woke up to Andi shouting. I looked over at Garroth who was still sleeping.

We must have fallen asleep on the floor...

I kissed Garroth's cheek before sitting up.

"What's going on?"

Laurence and Andi were looking at each other; Andi was glaring.

Aphmau giggled and turned to me. "Well, we got into a conversation and Laurence and Andi started talking about cute girls and guys. Andi started talking about how many pick-up lines she knew and Laurence bet that he knew more. So, they're having a pick-up line contest."

My eyes widened. "The weird thing is, I don't know who will win! Back in Thurmond, Andi was the biggest flirt in town. But Laurence is a pretty big flirt to..."

Aphmau smiled. "Yeah! I'm curious to!"

Aaron sat down next to Aphmau.

"Both of you have 3 minutes to think of pick-up lines, no matter how bad or corny they may be. You can't repeat what each-other says. The pick-up line can be for a girl to get a guy or a guy to get a girl; it doesn't matter. If you have a come-back for the other person's pick-up line, you can use that for your turn. Whoever has the most, wins." Aphmau announced the rules.

"So they all have to be different?"

"Yep!"

~3~MINUTES~LATER~

Garroth was up by now and had his arm wrapped around my shoulders. We were sitting over by Aphmau and Aaron. (Dante and Kawaii~Chan went upstairs into their room.)

"Ready?"

"Yep."

"Andi, ladies first. Ready, go!"

(JUST A WARNING. THERE IS NO SWEARING IN THIS BOOK, SO I HAD TO MODIFY SOME OF THE PICK-UP LINES WE ALL KNOW AND LAUGH AT. SO, BARE WITH ME.)

A-"You're lips look lonely. Do they wanna meet mine?"

L-"Are those astronaut pants? Cause your butt is out of this world."

A-"No, they're prisoner's pants. Cause I think it's about time I make my escape."

Laurence nodded. "Good one. I haven't heard that one yet."

Andi rolled her eyes. "Your turn."

L-"You feel that? That's boyfriend material."

A-"Are your legs tired from running through my dreams?"

Laurence smirked. Something told me he had a reply for that. "No. They're tired from trying to dodge corny pick-up lines like that all night."

"Oh, snap!" Aphmau giggled.

~ONE~HOUR~LATER~

APHMAU'S POV

Laurence thought for a moment and smirked. "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?"

"No, because my boyfriend caught me."

"Ooooooh! Bu-BURNED!" Aaron smirked as he watched Andi and Laurence go at it. (Y/n) and Garroth had gone to get the twins about a half-hour ago.

I yawned. They had been going at this for almost an hour.

I stood up and walked in between them. "Break it up! I think we can all agree, you both have many, MANY pick-up lines at your disposal. Now, are you two going to continue? or are you going to train which is why we came here in the first place?"

"We're continuing." They both answered at the same time.

I sighed and walked over to Aaron and sat down.

"Do you wanna sword fight outside?"

I nodded. "Sure."

Aaron and I headed outside, our swords in hand.

I looked over at his demonic sword.

It was huge, yet he held it like a feather.

"Hey, is it heavy?" I pointed to his sword.

Aaron smiled. "Wanna see for yourself?"

I nodded.

He handed me the sword.

I grabbed it and did a couple moves with it. "It's huge. I thought I wouldn't be able to lift it at all. I thought it'd be a bit heavier."

Aaron looked a little surprised, but then smiled. "I guess I should have expected that from you."

"Expected what?"

"That you would be able to lift and use it without a problem."

"Even Kawaii~Chan could lift it without a problem." I scoffed.

"What could Kawaii~Chan do?"

"Kawaii~Chan! Oh my Irene! You scared me! You have a habit of sneaking up on people today." I held a hand on my chest, trying to slow down my heart rate.

"Hehe!"

"Why are you out here?"

"Kawaii~Chan was going to go check on Kimi~Chan."

"Oh! Here, Kawaii~Chan. Hold this." I handed her Aaron's sword.

"Woah!"

The sword immediately nose-dived into the ground.

"Umm, Aphmau~Senpai? Aaron~Kun's sword seems to be stuck."

Aaron smirked. "See Aphmau? You underestimate yourself."

I picked up the sword and grinned. "I guess so!"
