ANDI'S POV

I rushed over to help Garroth against Melody.

His eyes were bright blue. More than usual.

I'm sure mine were bright green. Besides, demons are strong in the Nether. It's not their own dimension, but it's still stronger than the overworld.

Melody glared at Garroth. "The hard way it is then." She hissed at us.

I smirked. "That's how we do it." My sword flashed in the glow of the Nether realm. My skin was abnormally pale and my body coursed with power.

Melody smirked. "Both very angry aren't you?"

I tried to keep my anger in check. It's harder to control here. Stupid demon side.

"Just let us go. Then we'll never bother you again." Garroth tried to compromise.

"Yeah right." She sneered. She had her bow off of her back, but we were really close for her to use it like a bow.

She quickly swung it at Garroth.

He dodged it, but barely.

The bow started glowing, and she smirked. She quickly backed up before pulling out an arrow and placing it in the bow.

Garroth was staring at her, and I could tell he was calculating her next move.

She smiled. "Got a smart one here, aye?"

Garroth smirked. "What makes you say that?"

"And he's cocky to." She sneered at Garroth.

His smirk dropped. "I don't want anyone to get hurt." He tried comprising again.

I absentmindedly played with my wedding ring on my left hand.

"To bad I do." She sneered at us.

Garroth sighed quietly.

Melody smirked and aimed her bow at him. She let go of the draw string, firing the arrow right towards Garroth.

Luckily, Garroth blocked it with his sword, otherwise it would have gone straight through his chest.

"Hmm." She pouted. "I might have underestimated you. Your lucky my bow wasn't fully charged like it is now." She smirked. "Shall we kick it up a level?" She docked another arrow, aiming it at Garroth.

I watched, in a defensive stance, hoping he was going to be fine.

Suddenly she whirled around and shot the arrow at me.

My eyes widened for a split second before I jumped out of the way. I tucked and rolled, the arrow barely missing me.

I was kneeling, one knee on the ground. My sword still glowed.

"Nice try." I glared at her.

She smirked. "Remember when I said my arrows never miss? I wasn't lying."

Suddenly a searing pain erupted in my side.

"Agh!" I fell to the ground.

She smirked. "See, when my bow glows, my arrows never miss. Never."

I grimaced, feeling where the arrow hit me. Blood covered my hand when I brought it back.

My breathing began to pick up in speed and I closed my eyes.

It's just blood...

I stood up. "Your bow isn't very accurate." I glared at her.

She smirked. "No, my bow is extremely accurate. I'm just playing with you. Let you suffer, than kill you."

I grimaced at the pain in my side. I managed to stay standing though.

Garroth gave me a worried look. "You okay?" He looked at Melody, watching her every move.

"It's just a scratch." I gave a small smile before focusing on Melody.

"Ah... So you two are lovers."

My jaw dropped. "What? Ew no!"

Melody looked slightly confused for a split second before she regained her composure.

"I saw you playing with your ring." She stated, and I unconsciously twisted it around my finger.

"And you have one that looks kind of similar." She glanced over at Garroth.

I laughed. "You think we're married?! Ha! No offense Garroth, but never in a million years."

Garroth smiled. "Same. (Y/n) is the one for me."

"(Y/n)... Why is that name so familiar... Oh! She's the one the shadow lord didn't accept from the Lord of Okasis." She smirked.

Garroth gave her a dirty look. "Talk about my wife that way and you won't live to see tomorrow."

Melody rolled her eyes. "Your just like your brother, Vylad."

Garroth froze. "How do you know that Vylad is my brother?"

She smirked. "The Shadow Lord knows everything about every shadow knight. Including their family."

"And you know the shadow lord?"

She grimaced. "You could say that."

"Touchy subject?" Garroth smirked lightly.

"Stay out of it." She growled and docked another arrow. Her bow wasn't glowing anymore. She shot it at Garroth and he easily dodged it.

"Seems to me that you let your emotions control you." Garroth reprimanded her. "Not a good thing in battle."

She growled and lunged at him.

I wanted to help but I had to get this arrow out of my side.
I tenderly grabbed the shaft of the arrow. I winced as it moved, only a little.

I slowly began to pull on it. "Agh!" I was breathing heavily, sweat beading my face.

I clenched my eyes shut and yanked on it. I felt tears running down my face, the pain in my side almost unbearable.

After a few minutes of struggle, I finally got the arrow out.

I threw it to the side and went to stand up, only to be pushed down again.

Melody aimed her glowing bow at me. "Any final wishes?"
