Garroth pushed me into the room, and a teen was sitting on a chair next to the bed. His smooth black hair covered his right eye. The eye that was showing reminded me of Garroth's eyes except a little paler. His clothes also reminded me of something Aphmau showed me, Garroth's old armor.

As soon as Garroth saw the kid, he sighed.

"What are you doing here Zane?"

"What? Not happy to see me big brother? I heard the doctor here," he pointed over to Dr. Reese (who was to going do our ultra-sound again), "say something about Garroth and some girl being here and I followed her here. By the way, why are you guys here?"

"First, some proper introductions. Zane, this is (E/C). (E/C), this is my younger brother, and the high priest of Okasis, Zane. Who actually, you were supposed to marry if you hadn't run away the exact day of the year I did."

"Wait. What? She can't be..."

Garroth nodded. "She's the princess of Thurmond. The woman I was supposed to marry a year ago."

Zane's jaw dropped. "REALLY? Anyway, what ARE you guys doing in here?" He pointed around the ultra-sound room.

Garroth blushed. "Umm, (E/C) is... well... pregnant?"

"WHAT?!? REALLY! Wait, so, the woman you were supposed to marry a year ago, is now pregnant w-with you?" he stuttered.

Garroth and I both nodded.

"HOW DOES THAT WORK? Wait, how did you guys meet? Father made sure that you two never met."

"Actually, we met in the woods. I was running away from MY father and I ran into Garroth. He broke my arm and then invited me to stay in the village that he's a guard in." I didn't want to give Zane any information where we were so that if he had any ideas to tell our fathers where we were, he couldn't.

"Wait, so you guys met over a giant fight? Garroth, what did I tell you about breaking ladies arms? I told you they don't like it when you do that!"

"Zane..."

Zane ignored Garroth and continued talking.

"Well, if I'm going to marry you, the secrets had to come out sometime!" I said. Garroth just blushed.

Zane stopped talking at once. "Did she just say, marry?"

"Uhh, yeah. I proposed to her not to far from here. Then we started to go back to our village, when she fainted off our horse and I brought her back here. It was only a few hours ago."

"Umm, excuse me, I know you are having a little family reunion, but could we do this ultra-sound? I am leaving in a half hour, and I don't want to have to stay late." Dr. Reese said with a smile.

"Hmm? Of course doctor, sorry for keeping you waiting."

"Umm, would you be okay if this young gentleman stays, (E/C)? Or would you like him to leave?" She pointed towards Zane.

I shrugged, "I don't care."

"Okay. Garroth, please lift her onto the bed."

Garroth came over and picked me up off my wheelchair (bride style!), and set me down on the bed.

Once again, I rolled my shirt up. The gel felt cold this time and I shivered. The black and white image appeared on the screen.

Dr. Reese smiled, "The twins are safe and sound!"

"TWINS?" Zane asked.

"Yeah. (E/C) is pregnant with twins."

"I'm going to be an uncle to two little troopers?!?!?"

Garroth nodded.

"YES! I have DREAMED of this day!"

"Really? When?"

"Well, you know..."

"I see..."

Dr. Reese wiped off the gel and I sat up.

"Well, it was nice to meet you Zane. I grew up with five brothers..." For a while now, I had forgotten about my family. "Wait! That'll make my brothers all uncles too! And both our fathers will be grandparents! That's just weird to think about."

All three of us nodded along with a couple shivers.

I decided right then and there that I was going to travel to Okasis with Garroth to tell his father personally, and then, I would face my father. They couldn't say no to us getting married because they were the ones who set it up in the first place.

I was going to tell Garroth my plan later.

"Well, Zane, it was nice to see you again." Garroth said with a grin.

"Nice to see you too brother. Well, I have a meeting with the Lord of Scaleswind in a few minutes so I better get going. And brother, I would be happy to do your ceremony, if you would like that."

Garroth smiled. "I would like that."

Zane smiled and then left the room.

Garroth sighed. "Zane used to be the most evil person I know, along with my father that is."

"What happened?"

Garroth smirked, "I mixed a brain-washing potion into his cereal one morning."

"Why'd you do that?!?"

"Well! It was that or kill him! So, I went with the brain-washing potion. And it worked! He's totally nice now!"

"Ahh... Garroth, I want to travel to Okasis and tell your father about..." I looked down and pointed to my stomach.

Garroth sighed, "I thought you might want to."

"And then, maybe I can work up the courage to speak to my father. In Thurmond."

Garroth nodded. "I think that's a good idea. We can leave tomorrow morning. I spoke with the doctor and he said that you could be released tomorrow morning."

"That's great! Well, shouldn't we travel back home to pack more stuff?"

Garroth shook his head. "No, we have enough stuff packed to travel to both kingdoms. And even if we need more supplies, we can pick them up in Okasis. I'll contact Laurence tonight and tell the village that we won't be back for a few days. Wait, Laurence should be here any minute..."

That moment, Laurence burst into the room.

"Garroth! (E/C)! Congrats on the proposal... and the twins!"

"Oh! Hey Laurence! You just missed Zane!" I replied cheerfully.

Laurence's face went white. I heard him mumble some protection spell under his breath.

Garroth sighed, "(E/C), Zane was evil. I told you that much. Well, he did some pretty bad things to Phoenix Drop."

"Like?"

"Well, he tried to kill Aphmau seven times plus tried to make her a shadow night. He burned down the village once. He threatened all our lives. He successfully made Laurence into a shadow night..."

My face went white. Laurence was a shadow night?!?!?

"Not fully though. I am able to control the power, unlike many others." Laurence reassured me. The color returned to my face.

"Plus many other things. Anyway, sense I brain-washed him, he is completely harmless."

"Oh, okay. Well, Laurence, thank you for coming up to see us. But, I'm really tired and we are traveling to Okasis tomorrow... we need to prepare what awaits for us there."

OKAY. So i made Zane nice because, come on. He's Garroth's brother. Can Garroth just have one small part of his family that isn't corrupted and mean?
