Final Chapter

YOUR POV

All I could sense was darkness. As if I was floating around in space. I was the only thing alive... The only one there.

Where am I?

"Hello?" I called out.

No answer.

Suddenly, I saw a beautiful lake.

Butterflies flew around the flowers that lined the lake. Birds were chirping and fish jumped out of the water every now and then.

The scene changed, and I saw a village, and a backyard. Kid's dummies were set up in the backyard.

I think I used to spar there with someone... We would spar with each other or with the dummies we made out of stuff we found in the woods.

Sometimes the scene showed a hospital room.

There were other times where I didn't recognize the scene. A couple times I was in a place that looked like it been taken right out of a children's storybook. It looked like clouds of Cotten candy... Everywhere.

This went on for... Well, it seemed like forever. The scenes changed and sometimes I would hear a faint whisper.

I would shout out to whoever was there, but they wouldn't answer.

Even if they had answered, I couldn't move. It was like I was trapped in an invisible cage.

I sighed. It felt like this had been happening sense forever.

I gave up trying to move, and suddenly, everything felt different. The scene went black again. There was no light, but I could move again.

I first moved my hand, and the whispers came back. They got louder and louder as I moved more.

I could move, but I still couldn't see anything.

Finally, I opened my eyes.

A blinding white light shined in my eyes and I immediately shut them.

Agh.

I opened them gradually, my eyes eventually growing used to the light.

The room I was in was white, very white.

My silver hair was long, almost reaching the bottom of my back.

Strange people stared at me. One of the ladies in a white lab coat scurried out of the room.

A woman with long teal hair was on the verge of tears. She was definitely pregnant. Probably almost nine months. She bit her lip, probably out of nervous habit.

"Oh my Irene." She whispered softly, a hand over her mouth.

There was a man next to her. He was tall, very handsome, and had messy, light brown hair.
