Chapter 21

TIM POV: I arrived back at the hospital. As I was walking to Faith's room, I saw the doctor and a couple of nurses running into Faith's room. I immediately ran in. "What's going on?" I said frantically. "well Tim come take a look for yourself" I walked over and was surprised. Faith was awake. "Faith baby omg your awake" "Ti.ii..mm" "Shh don't try to talk" "The bbb.." "The baby is fine right Dr Peterson" "yes the baby is fine Faith" I can see her breathe a sigh of relief and than she smiled.  "well everything looks good. I will be back to check on you later" "so she's going to be ok" "yes I believe so" "I will walk you out" I said I got out of the room "Dr Peterson, Is she really going to be ok?" "yes she will, now the tumor left behind is small it shouldn't cause too much of any problems. And once she is ready to give birth, we can remove the rest" "ok thanks oh were you able to get a biopsy on what was taken out?" "Yes but we are still waiting for the results. once we have them I will let you and Faith know" "Ok thank you Dr" I than went back in the room. "oh baby I missed you so much" I said. "how long was I asleep?" "A few days" "oh no, the girls" "the girls are fine, they are home sleeping. My mom is there" "Have you been home?" "yeah just before that's where I was, I promised them earlier I would tuck them in" "are they ok?" "yeah they were scared, scared that you weren't going to wake up and return to them" I can see her eyes filling up with tears "I knew I shouldn't of went through with this surgery Tim." "Faith... " "no I told you I didn't want it and now look whats happened" "Nothing has happened. The baby is fine, the girls are fine and you are fine" "Am I? I was asleep for 3 days Tim, 3 days I lost time with those girls" "Faith.. " "Tim I just want to be alone" "you don't mean that" "Yes I do, please just go" she cried. I didn't want to fight with her. So I grabbed my stuff and left for home. I sat in the driveway for like 20 minutes just crying.  I love her more than anything and now she blames me for everything. I don't know what to do anymore. I walked inside. "Tim what are you doing home? Is everything ok?" "well Faith is awake" "well thats great Tim but why aren't you there with her?" "Because mom she doesn't want me around" "What are you talking about?" "she told me basically to leave her alone and that its my fault. I basically talked her into having the surgery that she didn't want to do. And blames me for her being asleep the past few days and missing time with the girls" "Oh honey she just woke up, she doesn't know what she's saying. She loves you" "yeah well sure as hell doesn't feel like it. I'm going to get some sleep" I went upstairs and into my room. I got changed and got in bed and just cried.
