Chapter 30

TIM POV: It been about 20 minutes or so but seems more like forever I was outside the OR room where Faith was and our new baby girl was born. Faith was fine than all of a sudden I heard alarms going off on montiers and than heard a long beep noise. I look over at Faith who's eyes were now closed. Noboby has told me anything. I look at the clock it's almost 30 min now. What is going on? I get up to compose myself and try to find someone who can tell something about my wife. Just than the doctor comes out of the room. "How is she? Hows Faith? is she going to be ok?" "Tim, she's fine. Her heart had stopped" I breathed a sigh of relief "Wait.. What?" "Calm done, it's ok now. It was a complication from the surgery. She had lost alot of blood. We were able to bring her back. She is now stable" "Is she.. awake?" "yes she's awake and alert" "Oh thank god! Can I see her?"  "We are finishing up in there. We had to give her a blood transfusion" "Is the tumor.." "It's all gone" "ok so when can I see her" "Once we are done in there and than we will take her to her room" "ok" I will have a nurse take you there and I will have her in her room in a little bit" "ok thank you Dr" he smiled and went back in to Faith. Soon after a nurse came out. "ok Mr McGraw come with me" I than followed her. She lead me to a room. "Ok sir, we will have your wife in here shortly" "ok thank you" I paced around, waiting for Faith to come to her room. I just want to see her for myself. I had tears streaming down my face. "No I can't do this" I went in the bathroom, and washed my face. I don't want Faith to see me like this, she needs me. Than it occured to me... The baby! I walked out of the bathroom and was about to head out the room, when the door opened and it was the nurses and doctors bringing Faith in. They got her all settled. "ok I will be back to check on her a little bit" "Ok thank you Dr" Than they all left. I pulled a chair by Faith's bedside. "Faith baby.." She turned around and smiled "oh my gosh you don't know how happy I am to see that beautiful smile" Than her smiled faded "Tim.." "yes baby what's wrong?" "The baby" "I don't know" "Please can you find out" "Sure I will be right back" I kissed her forehead and went to the desk to find out about the baby.
