Chapter 35

TIM POV: Christmas was great, just spending time with Faith and the girls and family but the best gift of all was when we got to bring our baby girl home. It's been a couple of weeks now. The girls are back in school. Maggie still only goes to preschool a few days a week. We try to schedule any doctors appointments on days where she's in preschool. Today, Faith has a checkup and but before that we have to take Audrey for her follow up. The doctors want to moniter her since she was early. Make sure she's developing and growing like she good. That girl could eat, I don't think she has any problems there. We got the girls off to school. Now off to doctors appointments. First up is Audrey. We arrive at her pediatrician's office. Shortly after we are taken back. The nurse did what she needed, got her weight which went up a little. So that's good. "ok The doctor will be in shortly" Audrey started to get a little fussy. Faith picked her up to try to soothe her. Than the doctor walked in. "Hello there, Faith, Tim" "Hello Dr" "so how is Audrey doing today?" "good" "Ok lets take a look. She gained a little weight so thats good" He than finished his exam. Audrey didn't like being checked out by the doctor. and boy did she let him know it. I chuckled a little that girl has a good set of lungs on her that's for sure. "Ok all looks good. I just want to see her back in a month for her next checkup" "Ok thank you" We got Audrey in her carrier and left. "Faith do you want to take her home before you appointment? I can get my mom to watch her" "no it's ok" "ok" Faith just doesn't seem like herself today. I'm not sure if she's just tired being up a lot last night with Audrey or if she's just really nervous about her appointment or something else.
