Chapter 20

TIM POV: The girls each held Faith's hand, and spoke to her. They are telling her all about the past couple of days. What they've been up two. How school was going. I was hoping it would've worked and brought Faith out of this so called coma she's in. "ok girls, say bye to mommy and daddy" "No I want to stay here" Maggie said "Maggie.." "NO I won't go" she cried "Maggie, we don't raise our voices. we are in a hospital. There are alot of sick people around. You need to listen to meemaw ok" "Ok daddy, I'm sorry" "it's ok baby, I know this is hard on you and your sister, I know you both miss your mommy. I miss her two. but we have to believe she will come back to us soon ok" "Ok" she still looked very sad "How about this, let meemaw take you two girls home and I will be there soon to tuck you both in hows that sound?" "Good, ok daddy"  "thats my giris, I love you both so much" I said as I hugged and kissed them both "Love you two daddy" "ok girls ready to go" "Yes" "Thank you mom" "No problem son, see you soon" "Ok" I stayed by Faith for a little bit longer hoping to see some sign of her coming out of this, but there was nothing. "Baby I will be back soon ok, I love you" I said and kissed her forehead.  I than left the room and went up to the nurse to let her know I was leaving for a bit and to call me if anything changes while I'm gone. She agreed.  I got in my car and drove home. I felt so guilty leaving Faith, but I also know she would want me to be there for our girls and that's what I'm going to do. I arrived home. I went upstairs. The girls were first getting in their beds. "I got it mom" "Ok" she said and than left. I went to Maggie first. "Hey baby girl" "daddy you came home" "Of course, I told you I would" "are you going to stay?" "Well I'm going stay here for a little bit till you and your sister fall asleep ok" "ok" "I love you so much, good night, sweet dreams" "goodnight daddy, Love you" I watched her for a little bit till she fell asleep. Than I went to Gracie's room. She was thankfully still awake but was crying "Hey sweetie,what's wrong?" "I'm scared mommy won't come back home" "oh honey she will, you know mommy would never you leave you or your sister. she loves you both so much. And she's doing everything she can to get back to us ok" "ok" "feel better" "yeah a little" "that's my girl. I love you so much princess, you get some sleep ok, you have school tomorrow" "ok daddy, goodnight love you two" "Goodnight princess" I kissed her forehead and just watched her for a few minutes till she finally fell asleep. I left her room and went downstairs. My mom was in the kitchen cleaning up some dishes. "Hey mom" "Hey Tim, so how are they?" "they are ok. Their scared that their mother isn't going to wake up and come back to them" "Tim you know she will" "Do I mom? because honestly I don't anymore" "Tim stop,you know she loves you and those girls more than anything and is strong. She is trying to fight her way back, I believe she will wake up" "yeah I guess your right. I'm going to head back to the hospital are you ok with everything here?" "yes you go be with your wife" "thank you so much for everything mom,  I love you" I said as I gave her a hug. "Tim you don't have to thank me I don't mind and I love you two" I smiled grabbed my keys and some stuff for the night and went back to the hospital. My mom is right, knowing Faith, she is a fighter nothing will stop her from getting what she wants.
