Chapter35 Stupor
I heard the knock on the door. I'm just lying here in my bed-our bed. Adrian insists and I can't resist! He's taking me under him and I'm completely bewitched by him. The door opened when I didn't even make a single move. Adrian enters and his eyes locked on mine.
I grinned at him. "Are we leaving already?" Tanong ko.
He nodded at lumapit saakin. Umupo naman ako and he plant a soft kiss in my forehead. Marahan niya akong hinila at iniyakap ang braso palibot sa bewang ko. "Let's go."
Lumabas kami ng kwarto pero nakapalibot parin ang braso niya sa bewang ko. Too possessive. I giggled mentally. We reached the main door and saw the others waiting although we'll ride in different cars.
We'll be going to Blake and Hina's funeral so we are all dressed in black. We exchange nods and ride in our own cars-as for me, I'm riding at Adrian's car. He wouldn't let me drive my own. I argue with him but I didn't win in the end. He's being bossy and possessive that I think he already possesses but I didn't see.
As we reached our destination-the cemetery, we get out of the car. I can hear their parent's death... full of sadness and grief. I sighed. This is what you get when you cross the line of where you should be and how your life's supposed to be.
We went near them.
"Salamat sa pag dalo." Is what the parents of them said.
I find it funny that my presence is here. Yeah, I can consider them as my friend-I guess? Even if we're not in good terms and things didn't turn right but shits. Somewhat, I understand them but I don't like what they did. They're hungry for power and fame. It's a lame excuse for doing something bad. It's not an excuse at all.
I won't talk about justice because until now I'm bullshitting with justice. I'm in the middle where bad and good meets.
Adrian with the others shows their griefs for their friend while me and Sephira is at their back-watching them.
"So what are you planning this time?" She approached.
I hide my grin. "Is that the new way to greet someone?" I asked.
She didn't look pleased. "Are you planning to kill her?" She asked a question again.
Am I going to kill her? And why I'm questioning myself right now? I have my resolve... I knew I have it... damn, I sounded so fucking unsure!! Where my resolve did flew? The fuck?
Then I looked at Adrian unconsciously.
I heard Sephira sighed. "Do you?"
Is he the reason why's my resolve gone? Fuck, Lee would die laughing hard at my face when she knew this!
I groaned in annoyance. "No." I said.
Now I said it. He's the reason why.
"What makes you change your mind?" She asked curiously.
I sighed before grinning wickedly at her. "Do you know that sudden disappearances are the fastest goodbye...?"
Her eyes widen. "You're going to kidnap her?" She stifles a laugh. "I didn't know you were this desperate to get rid of her."
I looked at her seriously. "Kidnap? Where did you get that dumb idea? Killers don't do kidnaps but killings." I said sharply. "This is not just about me being the desperate but because of my job."
