Chapter36 Disappearance
As I walk out from the door I saw Drake drinking silently while looking at nowhere. I sighed and come closer.
"Hey man. Drinking alone huh?" I said catching his attention.
Drake sighed and ignored me. I grab his drink and drank it.
He looks annoyed when he turns to face me. "What's your problem?" His forehead wrinkle in annoyance.
I shrugged my shoulders.
"Get back inside and leave me alone."
My forehead creased in confusion. "What's the problem and you're shooing me away?"
"Hindi ko alam pero ayoko sa presensiya mo." He said straightly.
My mouth hangs half open. "You have a problem with me? Tell me if you have. We're friends." I said urging him to tell me.
It's so unusual for him to act like this. I don't remember doing anything wrong.
He sigh contumely. "Friends?" He laughed. "Yeah friends."
I looked at him. "I'm not naïve Drake. Don't mock with me and tell me straight if what kind of problem you have with me." I demanded.
He pulls his own hair dramatically. "Damn. Naguguluhan ako sa paligid ko Calvin. Yeah right we're friends! But ... I don't feel it anymore. First, when Ayumi died. You're so much concerned when Antonette had been jailed. Second, when Hina and ... and ... Blake..." He breathes. "I can't accept this. I can't."
I stilled at his confession.
Moment later I speak. "My heart takes over my mind Drake. I cannot stop knowing that Antonette is in jail. I forgot that my friends are here because I'm busy cursing everyone who can't understand my pain." I sighed. "It also pained me when three of our friends died Drake. I'm also in pain. They're our friends and even Blake's here to kill me that doesn't change the fact that he's been good to me. He didn't harm me."
Drake shook his head. "How can you believe Antonette so damn easy? She let you succumb in pain. How can you believe her every damn word? She's not even telling us the whole damn thing!"
"She won't tell so there's no reason for her to lie." I said and look above. "I believe her words. I believe in her lies. I believe in everything she does because lying will be her own choice. Being guilty is not healthy and we all knew that." I explained.
"I felt goosebumps all over so stop talking."
I chuckled lightly. "Drake... we all knows how hurt it is when we knew they died, when you saw them just right in front of your eyes. It's a scary thing. I can't accept it too because it's too fast. It feels like yesterday when those two girls tease you and Blake continues to eat your food. It feels yesterday when Akira's with here and I ordered him to save Ayumi and Hina from their greedy parents. Everything feels like yesterday but it already ended today."
I look around and saw someone-rather a kid. I tapped Drakes shoulder.
"That's Lee right?" I ask in confusion. "Why does she look like she'll kill someone any minute?"
