Chapter34 The Promise
"Antonette!"
I stand immediately as I heard his voice. I glance at Sandra Chain again and give her a smirk. I pass at her and whisper my sweet words to her that I know she'll never forget.
"Die immediately without bothering anyone."
I beamed at Adrian who's angry right now. Maybe he gets up in the wrong side of bed? He looked grumpy and annoyed.
"Hi." I greeted and smiles widely at him. I even greeted him with a kiss on his cheeks!
I was crashed between his arms. He's hugging me tight, too tight like he's afraid to let me go. His face is buried in my neck and I can feel his hot breathe against my skin. "I told you to fucking don't leave me again." He said almost desperately.
I gulped and return his hug. "I didn't leave." I said trying to comfort him.
He shook his head. "You just did." He said.
I frowned. "But I was just reading there." I depended.
He pulled away while frowning. "You can read at my room." He grumpily said.
I crossed my arms and purse my lips. "But you're sleeping! I don't like to disturb you."
"You won't disturb me if you will just read."
"How can I concentrate... if... if..." I blushed. I'll be distracted if I'll see him peacefully sleeping like a baby!
"You can't concentrate if what?" He frowns.
I purse my lips and give him my puppy look but he still look mad at me!
"You can't use that on me. I'm still mad." He said.
He's mad at me? Oh boy.
I bowed my head and played with my fingers while I felt my cheeks burned because of embarrassment to what I will say. I bite my lower lip and spun around so I won't be facing him but still I'm looking on the ground.
"I'm distracted because of your presence..." I swallow hard. "I-I don't think I could read if I can see you sleeping peacefully... I'll just end up staring at you if I'll read at your room." I confessed and my cheeks burned hot.
He's not speaking so I decided to look at him and he's looking away with his cheeks in red tint. I bite my lower lip to suppress my smile.
Cute.
I grinned teasing him. "I can see a blushing cheek." I teased and walk passed him.
I was stopped when he back hug me. I grinned sheepishly. "It's because of you. I act giddy because of you sweetie." He whispered in my ear.
I giggled.
"So cheesy in the afternoon huh?"
We both look in unision to Axel and he's with Sephira. Their hands were intertwined with each other.
"Tell that to yourself." Adrian answered and I can feel that he's smirking.
Axel grinned and eventually he looked weary. "The funeral for Blake and Hina will be tomorrow." He said.
"Their families contact us already?" Adrian asked.
Axel nodded. "Yes. They called earlier."
Sephira's looking at me and I grinned at her when Sandra chain passed at us.
