32. Dinner disasters

Caitlyn's P.O.V

The first to arrive was Kaleb, so far he was the only one to come. He gave me a hug and then one to Mickey and them one to everyone else, except Luke whom he just gave an awkward bro handshake thing. We were setting the table all together when suddenly the dorm doors opened.
"Hey guys I'm here" my instinct was to run up to hug him but luckily my body reminded me that that wasn't the case before I made a complete fool of myself. There she was..just as pale as before, with her overly colored red lips and tight dresses with leather jackets.
"Guys, this is Nadine. My girlfriend" he said it looking at me straight in the eye.
I, being the confident little Caitlyn I am, went up and shook her hand.
"It's nice to meet you, we prepared a chair just for you" I falsely smiled as she stared at me with confusion. Harry gave me a glare where I just rolled my eyes at him. We were all sitting down awkwardly chatting for a bit.
"So Caitlyn, are you seeing anyone?"
"Actually Kaleb no, i plan on staying single for a little bit. I dot wanna rush into anything so soon I'm not that shallow.......no offense to you Harry"
He just chuckled, taking her hand as my guts twisted Inside of me.
"None taken, love" he said it with such hatred in his voice it was like the whole world was flopped, I needed a balance out of the intense pressure I was feeling, luckily the dorm bell rang.
"I got it!" I excitedly jumped up from my chair dashing to open the door.
"Hey there" he said kissing my cheek, in a friendly way of course. I engulfed him in a big hug.
"Thank God your here, it's even five minutes and I already feel like choking her with her own fake extensions!" He laughed taking my hand and walking in
"Hey everyone! Sorry I'm late" Harry's face EXTREMELY red, as he seemed to suffocate Rider with his eyes. Rider noticed as he have me a look and chuckled. I walked him over as he said hello to everyone, sitting down right next to me. I could feel Harry kicking his leg once in a while, apologizing in vein. Kaleb and Luke were talking which was good! It was almost like hi jealousy of Rider made him forget his girlfriend was trying to talk to him.
Soon enough we started eating and it was really good.
"So Nadine, are there any aspirations you have in life"
"I actually really want to be a professional candle maker, it's a really cool skill ! It runs in the family!" Michael choked on his food trying not to kiss himself of laughter. I could see Rider trying not to laugh as his face got really red.
"Ri, do you need water? Your getting quite red you know" I said letting out my laughter. 
"I'm fine C, thank you.." He said between chuckles. Harry once more sending him the death stare.
"Your joking right? Or are you really that boring?"
"MICKEY!"
"What! I mean of she's gonna be around all the time now better to know if she's lame!"
"I think it's wonderful, it's more unique than dancing" he says kissing her cheek. I have to admit keeping my cool was really difficult but I had Rider's hand in mine to calm myself. A couple months ago I would've never imagined eating dinner while holding hands with Rider Anderson and going face to face with Harry's new girlfriend- an even though I wasn't it, I'm forced to be okay with it.
"So how exactly did you two get together?" Luke asked Harry jujdingly.
"Well Luke, Nadine and I go way back and when someone cheated on me it just so happened that she was there for me that night and one thing led to another and we became a couple"
"Very Slutty of you isn't it Harry?"
"Kay you know what Caitlyn-"
"GUYS! Chill! If it's gonna be like this everyday than let us know and we'll figure out a way to get you different dorms because My God!"
"She started it Ash!" Nadine gently cadres see his arm calming him as Rider just gripped into my hand tighter.
"You think I would've stayed here with her if I had the choice? I've tried to leave but they won't let me"
"That's really rude to say"
"I don't care about hurting your feeling Caitlyn I'm being honest I don't exactly enjoy being near you all day"
"Hey stop being a dick about it!"
"YOU! You have no right to talk to me that way Rider this is your fault"
"AND YOU dolt talk to Rider that way! He's a good guy whose actually been there for me more than you have!"
"We wouldn't be in this situation if it wasn't for him! He ruined everything!"
"No Harry..You ruined everything. You broke up with me not Rider and unlike you he actually let's me Talk!"
"Darling if your going to get all upset then you can just go, I'm Harry's girlfriend now nobody needs you around anyways" before I could murder her Mickey bursts out if her seat causing Kaleb to jump.
"Listen here you Blonde Bitch! Nobody fucking needs you here either so how about you leave before I kiss your ass out myself!" Luke and Kaleb holding her back as Rider gently caressed my arm to calm me down because I was ready to kiss her ass too.
"Fine! Let's go Harry!" With that said they both stormed out of the dorm. Kaleb slowly standing up looking a bit scared.
"Um.. Truly sorry Michelle but I think it's best if I go, thanks for having me love" he said kissing Mickey's cheek as Luke tensed up beside her. He left leaving us all sitting here speechless.
Finally Rider broke the silence.
"I know what your all thinking- wtf did you do Rider? Hehe.....I'm really sorry I screwed up all your lives like this, I'm just gonna go, better I leave before anyone else gets hurt. "
"Ri Wai-"
"I'm leaving Caitlyn. I'm really sorry but until things between you two calm down is being friends is going to be a problem." He walks out the door as I chase after him.
"RIDER STOP!"
"Caitlyn please just go back inside.."
"NO! Please don't be like him, don't leave me alone too.." He's frozen in his spot as he slowly starts to walk away.
"Please, give me one good reason why you need to leave" suddenly he starts walking back, quickly toward me- before I knew it his hands had cupped my cheeks and his lips crashed into mine so passionately, with force and care as if he were kissing the life back into me. I melted at my knees as his hands slowly caressed my cheeks and we separated.
