25. Shattered

Mickey's P.O.V

As I begin to wake up, I can feel his gaze resting on my face. I open my eyes revealing Luke wide awake and smiling.
"Good morning Mitchie"
"Lucas..you've been staring?"
"How could I resist..your adorable while you sleep" I chuckled. He opened his arms as I nestled into his chest, his arms slowly stroking my back as his chin rested upon my head.
"I could lay here for hours...." He whispers into my hair.
"I know..me too" I smile into his bare chest as I take in his scent. As I lay warmed up in his arms I feel myself begin to slowly doze off again.
"Oh no no! You can't go to sleep we have a big day ahead of us!"
"I know, I can't wait..well if we were to lay here all day maybe.." He chuckled.
We sat up, his arm still around me as I lay my head on his shoulder, his fingers stroking at my shoulders.
"So Hemmings..where are you taking me on this fine afternoon?"
"I figured we could go out to eat. Not to somewhere fancy AF but just some where we could talk and eat food."
"That sounds perfect" I smile.
"So get ready! Were going in two hours!" I kiss his cheek and get up to say goodnight to everyone.
"Michael! You haven't made me waffles in forever...I'm slowly dying!"
"Soon M..soon" he giggles into a hug.
Harry and Caitlyn step out holding hands and she's wearing his button up so I'm assuming things between them are okay Haha. Ashton and Niall attack my cheeks with two kisses as I ruffle their hair. I eat some cereal and we all talk for a bit which was nice since we haven't talked in a while. But soon enough I was in the shower and getting ready for my date with Luke. I was wearing my Gray sleeveless crop top  black jeans and black converse, of course my music note choker. 
Soon enough Luke walked out of the bathroom with his hair perfectly quiffed and red V-neck to perfection.
"I see somebody is ready to go.." He smirks at me, taking my hand as we walk out to the car. The whole ride we talked about the human centipede which got disturbing. We finally arrived to Applebee's getting a small secluded booth. After an hour so of talking/eating we began eating desert.
"I'm glad were okay again. I really really love you Lucas"
"Me too M, I love you too..plus we aren't the worst couple right now"
"Haha you say that so strangely" suddenly he tensed up a bit.
"What?"
"What do you mean what?"
"Why are you suddenly all tense" he avoids eye contact until his eyes lock mine at first smiling because if the sight then breathing out heavily.
"I'm not supposed to tell you this.."
"What? What!!" He takes my hand nervously.
"Caitlyn's gonna kill me.."
"Okay now I have to know!"
"Oh God, how do I put this in a way that doesn't sound terrible.."
"Luke just tell me!"
"OKAY! RIDER KISSED CAITLYN!" His eyes widened as his hands went from mine to cover his mouth.
"Oh fuck...Why didn't she tell me!?!?"
"Well because she was scared! Your way too paw to Harry and a terrible liar! Plus, both Rider and C knew it was a mistake and Rider immediately apologized and everything was okay so it's not like there was a need to say anything"
"But she told you?"
"No- I saw when it happened...it was like a weird version of an accident you know, but H wouldn't understand that"
"Yeah, yeah..oh wow C's got one coming" he nervously smiled.
"That's what were here for though"
"Yup, it's not like I can't keep a secret!"
"Mickey your a terrible liar"
"I know...but that's how you know my I love you's are real."
"As are mine" he says kissing my hands. God Caitlyn, it's not like the fact they kissed was a big deal Bc it was the heat of the moment, yes they have sexual tension and yes the fact that it's Rider worsen things but they knew it was wrong and refrained! The thing is Harry wouldn't be so easy about it..I mean the love of his life was kisses by another guy! All I know is that we need to keep this a secret sealed! I gotta go talk to Caitlyn right now.
"Luke thank you for today..it was perfect" I kissed his cheek as we pulled up in the driveway. We went up the stars into the dorm where there was no sign of Harry.
"I'm gonna go talk to-"
"No! She can't know I told you!"
"Lucas..trust me she knows you were bound to tell me" he laughed, as he walked into her room with me.
"Awe look at you two! So cute" she saw our faces and automatically knew what we came in for.
"LUKE! YOU TOLD HER!"
"How did you- oh whatever!" He said slumping down in a chair.
"Okay, yes Rider kissed me..but I pulled back and he pulled Back and it wasn't a big deal- it was in the heat of the moment!"
"Yeah well C that's not what Harry is gonna think"
"Your right- it's not" my bones went stuff at the sound of the deep British accent behind me, Caitlyn's face in absolute horror as Luke pulls me aside with him.
"Hello Caitlyn"
"H-Harry I can exp-"
"SAVE IT! Okay Rider told me everything.."
"WHAT?" we all said.
"Unlike Caitlyn here..he had the balls to tell me everything. He explained it was his fault and took responsibility. He thought honesty was best."
"I was g-gonna tell y-you"
"BULLSHIT!" He screamed.
"You weren't gonna say a damn thing! You liked it! You wanted more that's why you didn't say anything. Your a Fucking Liar!"
"Harry please.." She said tears now streaming down he face.
"Save your tears Caitlyn, they're fake like everything else about you"
"You know it's not true! You know I would NEVER hurt you like that!"
"Well guess what you did! Don't think I let him off easy! Your lucky I'm a respectful human or else I would've beat the crap out of him!"
"Harry..please can we talk about this"
"No! I'm done talking! Caitlyn you hurt me....I can't be with someone I don't trust"
"But H-Harry... I love you" she said through the sobs. A single tear falling down his right cheek as he stepped close to her.
"Well..I don't" suddenly she burrs up scaring him a bit.
"So I just wasted the last two years if my life! DOES MY WORD MEAN NOTHING TO YOU!"
"YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO BE MAD!"
"TO HELL I DO HARRY!"
"Because your leaving me..something you promised you'd never do. And that makes me a liar and I don't wanna be with A LIAR!" She said ripping the ring off her finger and throwing it luckily in our direction where I quietly caught it and put it in my pocket. 
"And I don't wanna be with a slu-"
She interrupted him slapping him across the face. I was in utter shock. Never in my life did I expect Caitlyn to do that..not to Harry.
"You even try to call me anything near a slut and I swear to God I will leave this fucking dorm right now! YOU WERE THE LAST PERSON-"
She said now back to her sobbing ways.
"THAT I EVER IMAGINED WOULD SAY THAT TO ME" Harry just stared at her, with no emotion I his face whatsoever.
"Well here's another thing you never imagined- Were over." She froze, the room dead silent, nobody moved nobody made a sound.
"Don't talk to me, don't look at me, don't come near me Caitlyn- because you hurt me. I don't need people who hurt me in my life.." He started walking out until she finally spoke.
"IF YOU TAKE ONE MORE STEP..WE ARE THROUGH- FOREVER! All the dinners, every hug, everything will be shot to hell it will be home FOREVER!"
He turned to face her, tears brimming his eyes, he looked at her up and down as he spoke what I could barely hear.
"Good" he said walking away, slamming the door, Caitlyn instantly dropping to the floor in sobs, un controllable sobs. As Luke lifted her into the bed holding her in his arms, stroking her hair as she cried and cried and cried and cried. He would whisper sorry's into her ear as she would hold hi tighter. I just began to fully process what happened as I see my best friend crash to the ground, her heart in pieces. Michael, Ashton and Niall run into the room.
"OH MY GOD! WHAT HAPPENED C!"
I could hear Harrys car starting and driving away- breaking my heart. I took Luke's hand whom was shaking as he tried his best to console Caitlyn.

"He's gone...he left me"
