Chapter 14 ~ videoing

~LEXI'S POV~
It was the 22nd December; my first christmas in six years would be here in three days and I wasn't even mentally ready.

That's when I decided to film a video; my first ever video. I was really nervous but at the same time, really excited.

I set up the camera and lighting, just how my dads did when filming there videos. And then I began.

"Hey whats up guys? Lexi LH here and welcome to my first ever video! So I am going to get straight to the video and explain to all of you what the deal is.

"So as you all can probably guess, I am very excited for Christmas, as I am sure many of you guys are. But this Christmas is very special to me, not just for being my first Christmas with my dads, Dan and Phil who's channels will be linked in the description... but this is my first Christmas in six years.

"Six years is a long time. I am 14, so my last Christmas was when I was 8, a ling time ago. So when I was 8, up until I was 12, I lived with my real dad, who was an abusive dick-head. I am sorry to any young views but calling my real dad a dick-head is the best explanation I can give. He would beat me and my other siblings and when I was 12, being the oldest sibling, I had had enough. I called the police and they took us away. Now you may think I would go to a nice CareHome... no. I was separated from all my siblings and taken to a dark CareHome where, suprise suprise, first they didn't celebrate Christmas too and second... ny care-worker would beat me.

"I cannot explain to you guys in words how many deep thoughts I had and how many times I wanted to... die pretty much. And just a week ago, I went and I almost did... but this was where AmazingPhil saved my life.

"He and Dan then adopted me and I have had the best time ever here. And that is why this Christmas is so special to me... I need a unique way to end these videos... so give me any suggestions in the comments below!

"I'll see you in a video soon... goooooooodbye!"

I spent a good hour editing my video to display and publish it to the world. I was nervous as the percentage bar reached 100% and my video was now out there.

About five minutes later, Phil walked in, "Hey lion! Well done on your first video! How do you feel?"

I sigh and shrug my shoulders, "I just hope people understand the issues I have had in the past and enjoy the content I put out for them..."

Phil wraps me into a hug, "I am 101% sure they will. You are a nice person..."

"Do you know when you and Dan are putting your video up about the fact you two are together?" I ask.

Phil shrugs, "I don't know but Dan wants to announce it in person when we go to VidCon next year..."

I groan, "That's ages away though!"

"That's what I said," Phil said, "I told him we should put it in a video and confirm it at VidCon but Dan prefers his idea."

I shrug, "Well you two will do what you are comfortable with."

Phil gets up, "I'm gonna make pancakes... do you want to join me?"

I nod my head, "Wouldn't miss it for the world," I say and I run to the kitchen after Phil, who walked into the glass door.
