"Get ready to get on the field Blount!" Bill yelled to LaGarette on the sideline.

I am furious. The whole thing with Camille yesterday and Bill talking to me earlier, I really need to make my mark as a coach today.

I sighed as I looked at the score board, we're losing and Bill isn't letting me take control. I've given my points of view on what he should do and on what plays and he's doing the complete opposite. It's like he doesn't want me to be a coach anymore since he's not letting me do my thing as everyone is watching me. Like this game is life or death for me, whether we win or lose, I need to get involved.

Rob walked pass me several times during the game since he isn't playing. It's preseason, so none of the main offensive starters are playing. I felt like every where I moved to, he was always walking in front of me. This made me even more mad, like sit down and watch the game. You're not playing, so why are you walking around like you need to warm up your muscles?

It was the 4th quarter and we're losing by 11. The score is 17-6 right now and I can tell Bill is stressing out. He's yelling at the other coordinators and isn't taking their offers on what to do. Opposite teams offense has the ball and Jones goes in for an interception and is down at 45 yard line on our side.

"Blitz it, G." I told Jimmy as he walked pass.

"I was told to run, Syd."

"Do you want to win? Blitz the ball and run for a touchdown. You're a fast guy and we need the yardage." I patted the his shoulder.

He called the audible and looked up like he was confused. David Andrews hiked the ball to James White and Jimmy Garoppolo ran down the field and caught the pass at the 20th yard line and ran the ball for a touchdown. The fans and those on the sideline cheered and I clapped and was proud of myself for making my first NFL play that resulted in a touch down.

The offense walked off the field and Jimmy smiled at me as he took off his helmet and he had his hand out to do a special hand shake that him and I made up last week at camp. He laughed and I could already sense the eyes of Bill Belichick on me.

"Did you call that play?" He asked me.

"Yes sir, I'm sorry. You were stressed and I saw an opportunity to do something about it, it won't happen again." I said to him.

"I don't care, you can call the rest of the plays, it seems like you know what you're doing. I'm proud of you." He smiled to me.

I smiled back as he hit my shoulder and I continued to coach the game. My shoulder is going to kill me at the end of this game if people don't stop hitting it. But, in the end, we won 20-17. The field was packed after the game with family and friends of these athletes, reports, and other random fans.

"You did it sweetheart. You are officially a Patriot." I turned around to see my dad standing behind me.

"Dad! What are you doing here? I thought you were in Israel still?"

"I came home early just to see my little girl do her thing, how about me go get ice cream tonight, my treat."

"Okay, that'll be fine, but I have to wait for eveyone to leave and take Cara and Alyssa home."

"That's fine, I have to go home anyways. I'll pick you up as soon as I get done, okay?"

"Alright, thank you."

I kissed him before leaving to go into the locker rooms. My dad, Jonathan Kraft, is a really nice guy. He was in Israel to promote American football in their country and make them familiar with the sport that most people in our nation love.
