The last month or so without Rob has been tough. I see him all of the time on Instagram and other places just having fun and doing what he does best. And surprisingly, we haven't talked to each other either. Of course there were times here I wanted to message him but couldn't. I always delete the messages and end the calls before even having contact with each other.

I sighed as Brandon and I got done with our meeting in Tampa. And surprisingly Rob is here too. It's his birthday today and I don't know what to do. It's so weird not being here with him to celebrate considering I already have his birthday present at my house in Massachusetts that I guess will have to wait.

"Hello?" I said as I answered the unknown number.

"Hi, is this Sydney?" The lady said.

"Yes ma'am, who is this if you don't mind me asking."

"Diane Gronkowksi, Robs mother."

My mouth dropped. "Oh, hi. Um, how are you?"

"I'm fine, I'm fine. I heard you were in Tampa today?"

"Yes ma'am, I'm here for work."

"That's great, do you think you can meet up somewhere and have lunch? I would love to get to know you."

"Uh, I mean if that's okay with Rob then I'm fine with it."

"Maybe we won't have to tell him. I'll send you details so we can meet up soon, okay?"

"That's fine. Thank you so much."

"No, thank you."

I laughed before hanging up. Weird right?

"Who was that?" Brandon asked.

"Rob's mom. She wants to go out for lunch."

"That's kind of odd."

"Yeah, I know. But I can't say no to her."

"That's true. Well, while you're doing that, I'm going to take a nap, okay?"

I nodded as he closed his eyes and I went straight to my suit case. It's really hot outside, so I changed into a nice shirt, a cardigan, appropriate shorts, and sandals. She had sent me an address and a time which is about 30 minutes from now. I put it into google maps and it said it was only 10 minutes away from our hotel. I smiled as I rushed to the bathroom to do little touch ups on my make up and hair and it was soon time to leave. I grabbed the keys and got into the manly Corvette that Brandon thought would be cool to have, and I drove to the restaurant. It was a nice really place called Pane Rustica Bakery & Cafe. I have never been here before, so I hope Ms. Gronkowski has good taste in food.

"It's so nice to meet you." I said hugging her.

"Like wise, you're even prettier in person." She smiled.

"Thank you." I laughed.

"Wait, hold on. Is this the ring he got you?" She asked as she held my hand up.

"Yes ma'am. Isn't it beautiful?"

"It's gorgeous. I didn't know Rob had style like that."

"I was surprised too, trust me." I laughed as we both say down.

"Sorry I called you so late. I asked Chandler about you because Rob doesn't really like me asking about you anymore, and he said you were in town, so he gave me your number." She laughed.

"Chandler is so goofy. I'm happy he gave it to you. I've been kind of antsy waiting to meet you."

"Yeah, ever since Glenn told me they met you earlier this year, I've been mad at Rob for not inviting you over."
