Hours passed and Sydney was still asleep. It was early, so I had to leave to go back home to get ready for practice. I have absolutely zero clothes here and would hope that Sydney doesn't find it offensive that I'm leaving her at home instead of taking her to practice. I purposely turned off her alarm just so she wouldn't go, making a perfect time for her to think and decided if we should tell her family today or not.

I pulled up to my house and wasn't even surprised to see Camille still here. It's 8am now and I did tell to be gone before I get back from practice. I really just don't want to look at her right now.

I walked up the stairs that led to my bedroom hallway. The light in my room was off, so I assumed Camille was asleep. I had opened the door and honestly wasn't surprised to see what I saw.

"Rob! What are you doing here?" She whispered loudly...if that's even possible.

"What do you mean what am I doing here? It's my house, remember? The question is, what is he doing in my bed and why are you naked?"

"It's not what it looks like, I swear."

"Oh, I know what it looks like. But I'm just going to forget it because at this point, I could care less."

"Rob, please don't."

"You had it coming Camille, sorry."

She sat there dumbfounded as I gathered my things for practice. I took a quick shower in the guest bathroom and then continued my way downstairs. I prepared myself a protein shake as I ate a banana and drank a glass of water.

"Does anyone know where Sydney is?" Bill ask as we stretched on the field.

"She wasn't feeling well yesterday, sir." I replied.

"Right, her dad told me that this morning. Okay, carry on."

I nodded toward Bill before looking up at Jimmy. He gave me a funny look that I honestly didn't know what meant.

"Hey Rob!" I heard as I walked out of the locker room.

"Yeah coach?" I said drinking my water.

"Do you know why Sydney isn't here? I know you two road together yesterday." He asked.

"Uh, I just know she wasn't feeling well yesterday."

"Rob, I know you well. Why isn't she here?"

"Sir, I don't know if Sydney would like for me to tell you."

"That's fine. I'll make sure she tells me tomorrow."

He walked away and I shrugged to myself. Bill confuses me. I'm never sure if he knows certain things or if he's just that good at understanding my body language.

I finally got home and Camille was gone. And when I mean gone, I mean her things were out of the house and she basically gone gone. I nodded at how nice my house finally looks. But then I realized how empty my house was. All of those little decorations that Camille had around here are no longer here.

After calling Sydney to see if she wanted to go to her grandpas house, I was on my way to pick her up. It sounded like she was awake for a long time which I didn't find surprising. She was probably awake before I left, but was too lazy to get out of bed like she always is.

When we arrived at her grandpas house, it was a little awkward. He knew that we had something to tell him, well that Sydney had to tell him. And by the look on his face when we opened the door, he didn't know I was coming.

"I see you two are getting along." He laughed.

"Just barely." I replied.

He took me outside where he and Jonathan were grilling steaks for a late lunch. It smelled so good out here that I could help but get excited as I noticed that there was enough for all of us including Blake and his family.
