It is finally Labor Day weekend and we just finished up our Pre Season games on Thursday with the win against the NY Giants. It was a good game over all, but most of us were more excited for the weekend since it is filled with great events.

First of all, today is Cara and Jimmy's wedding day. The day we have all been waiting for. Luckily, it's a nice and sunny Saturday for the beautiful couple. Cara has been freaking out, hoping Jimmy doesn't get injured before the wedding, which he didn't by the way. Me on the other hand, stressing because I have to walk with Rob down the aisle and I have barely talked to him at all this month.

Second of all, like I said, it's Labor Day weekend! The annual Kraft barbecue at my grandpas house is on Monday, which makes Sunday a rest day and then a party all over again.

Right now it is early morning and I am gathering my things to head to the hotel with the rest of the Brides Maids to get ready together. Noah is here right now, but they're not leaving until later for the wedding. I just laid out all of Tyler's clothes and packed a bag for him just in case he wanted to sleep over at someone else's house or something.

Noah dropped me off since I was most likely going home with him tonight, so I just met up with one of Jimmy's cousins (Elena), who I met yesterday, in the parking lot. We walked together with our items and used the key that Cara had given us yesterday to get into the room. Cara, her mom, and Melanie were inside of the room along with another young girl who I wasn't sure was.

"Sydney! It's been a while." Caras mom said as she got up for a hug.

"I know, it's been a couple of years." I said hugging her back.

"I was here a few months ago but you were out of town. How have you been?"

I smiled. "I've been good actually. Besides being pregnant and all."

"Are you and Noah still together?" She questioned.

"Uh, no. We broke up, but he's coming later with Tyler. I'm sure he'll be excited to see you." I laughed.

She smiled big before pouring herself a glass of wine. Cara had a entire glam team inside of this huge hotel room where they were going to do all of our hair and makeup for the wedding. I sat in a chair next to Melanie who was also getting her makeup done, along with Cara and the two others. Music was playing and it felt like a movie. I hardly get my makeup done for things, so this feels fantastic.

A couple hours passed and we were sitting in the room putting on our dresses. The wedding starts in an hour, so right now we're just trying to get Cara ready physically and emotionally.

"Guys I'm sweating." Cara said as she shook her hands.

"Sweetie you're fine. You're just nervous." Her mom said.

"What if I forget what to say. I cannot ruin this."

"Cara, you always freak yourself out. You're going to do fine. We'll be right there next to you." I said as I put a bobby pin in the side of her hair.

"Yeah, and if you do mess up, Jimmy will just laugh and you'll fall in love with his smile and remember everything you were going to say." Elena teased.

"Oh my gosh. I love you guys." Cara laughed.

About 20 minutes passed and there was a knock at the door. Melanie got up and peeped through the hole.

"Our chauffeur is here." She said opening the door.

Once we got into the vehicles, everything felt real. My best friend is getting married and I'm here on this beautiful day to celebrate it with her. It's not just a fantasy that we had planned in elementary or middle school, this is the real thing.
