July 19, 8:31 pm.

Cameron asked me why hadn't I answered his calls yesterday.

"I called you like a thousand times," He huffed, giving a quick peck on my cheek.

"I was at Tyler's house," I told him, tucking a loose strand of hair and putting it behind my ear.

"Oh," He said, running his head through his hairs. "Steph, he makes me jealous." Cameron stated, folding his arms against his chest.

"Why?" I asked.

"I know you still have feelings for him. And plus, you both have known each other since you were two fetuses." He told me. "I know that all of the things you guys have been through can't be forgotten that easily. And I don't want you to. I want you to take the time you need. I won't rush you." He said, earning a small smile from me.

"But what pains me is to know that I'll never get the chance to be there for you like he was. I'll never get to know of the 11 year-old Stephenie like him." He faced the floor and started playing with his fingers.

"Cam," I started, taking his hand and intertwining it against mine. "You don't need to worry about it. And yeah, I still have feelings for him. And it's not that easy to push them away, but I'm with you now. You're my present and that's what matters the most to me." I reassured him and I could notice he was blushing.

I smiled at him once more and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

I was never enough for you, Tyler. So I decided I would start to become enough for myself. And that's something hard to do, but I'll find a way. I have to find a way.
