"Baekhyun, you haven't eaten anything yet. We're all worried about you here" Kai said as he took a seat beside Baekhyun and the latter just looked up with a blank expression on his face, he didn't say anything instead, he looked down again and tears flowed down on his cheeks.
"I know it's hard for you to lose her but don't you think that Taeyeon would be sad seeing you mourn for her all day?" Kai asked again and Baekhyun didn't say anything. He kept looking at the ground, gravestones filled the place but there's this one specific gravestone that his eyes kept looking at.
"Baekhyun please don't be like this.." Kai said again or more liked begged his friend to say something for the past few minutes but all he got was silence. Most people who had been with him earlier has now gone home and only his close friends were there with him, sitting on the chairs that were placed infront of the gravestone that he's been staring at.
"Baekhyun--"
"I don't know what to do without her.. I don't know if I still can live after this" Baekhyun weakly trailed as he cried again. He felt like he's suffocated, he felt immobile, he felt so weak that he feels like he's going to break down into pieces soon. He never imagined this day to come, the day he's been fearing, the day he never thought would come so soon.
"Baekhyun listen, we can't gain if we don't let go, for there is no love without tears, no happiness without sacrifice and there's no forever without goodbyes. Think of it, wherever Taeyeon is right now I'm sure she doesn't feel the pain she went through here before maybe where she is, is a much better place and what would complete her happiness there is to see you smile again. I can never say I understand you Baekhyun, because I never lost anyone so dear to me yet but I'm here, we're here just.. tell us" Kai said and Baekhyun nodded before giving his friend a tight hug.
Maybe if it wasn't for Kai, maybe if it wasn't for Sooyoung and Siwon, maybe if it wasn't for Krystal and Sehun, if it wasn't for Hyoyeon, Yoona, Boa and his father. He might have gone grazy the moment he knew she's gone.
"I know.. I.. I don't know how to thank you enough but all I need right now is to be alone. Tell her the last words I want to tell her. I just need some time to clear my mind and take a breath" Baekhyun said and Kai nodded as he patted his friend's shoulder.
"Alright.. but don't do something silly. Call us if you need anything" Kai said and Baekhyun forced a smile before nodding. Soon, the remaining ones that was with him had gone home too and gave him some time alone.
With himself and Taeyeon.
Standing up from his seat,his heavy footsteps made way to the place where the grave was placed at. Surrounded by the newly digged soil, he didn't gave any care as he kneeled down the gravestone and out his hand over it as he looked down, closed his eyes and cried.
"Why? You promised you that you'll never leave. You're so unfair do you know that? I thought we'll still make our dreams come true? I missd you, I miss you already.. but knowing that you won't come back breaks my heart so much. It hurts.." Baekhyun stated in difficulty as his sobs got harder and he find it hard to catch his breath.
"Noona, save her.. save her please. You can do it again right? You saved her before, I know you can save her again"
Baekhyun remembered as he pleaded Boa to save Taeyeon again for the second time, the day that was supposed to be happy for the two of them had now gone terribly bad and Baekhyun doesn't know what to say. The look on Boa's face, as he remembered was sorrow and sadness.
"I'll try.."
Boa's words, eventhough it sounded already hopeless in his ears were trusted by him. By his heart.
"Noona? What happened? How's Taeyeon? Is she alright now? Can I see her?"
Baekhyun remembered that time when he frantically ran to Boa after she got out of the operating room several hours later after Taeyeon was taken inside there. But the sad look on her eyes told him something was up to no good and there he already felt that something had happened.
"I'm sorry Baekhyun.. I tried.. We tried but.. Taeyeon gave up already. Baekhyun I'm sorry, I really am but Taeyeon. She's gone"
"Why?! Why do you have to leave like that when I'm already so attached to you?! Why do you have to go now that i wanted to share my whole life with you.. Why?" Baekhyun asked the last part weakly as his hands fell on the ground and his hands gripped on the soil tightly. Sobbing hard, he just let himself fall on the ground and throw the soil away that were on his hands.
"Why?" He asked again as he wiped his tears on the back of his hands.
"I can't live without you Taeyeon.. I can't"
One steps, two steps, three steps..
Baekhyun felt like he's going to just fall down on the center of the empty road. His body is tired, his eyes were also tired.
"Taeyeon.." He muttered weakly but right after that, a loud honk greeted him and as soon as he turned he saw a the blinding headlights of the car that was just right infront of him, still in motion, Baekhyun felt his feet glued there and wasn't able to move as the light grew bigger and closer.
Closing his eyes, he just prepared himself for what was about to happen.
Memories from where he lost Taeyeon, memories from the burial earlier, memories from the start where he used to admire her, memories where they used to be together, memories where she made him felt loved, and a whole lot more memories that he can't just let go easily flashed through his mind as he made up his mind.
Just let me be with her, he thought.

He never felt pain, he never felt anything, but the bright light that almost blinded his eyes never disppeared. He tried opening his eyes again, there was light, but never before he wasn't outside the streets but before him was a plain white ceiling.
His eyes moved to the right and saw a beeping machine right next to him, a door parallel to his feet a window on his left side with the sun shining brightly outside of it. He lifted his hand up and saw that there was a wire connected on his hand.
"Baekhyun! You're awake!" He heard a familiar voice and saw Kai with a smile on his face. Running out of the room, Baekhyun heard Kai call the doctors as he remained lying there.
I.. Still lived? He asked himself.
Then again, Kai entered the room and Baekhyun noticed that his smile wasn't just like any smile he saw, it was sort of a thankful one. But before Kai can ask him anything, the doctors came and checked on him and did some tests.
"His vital signs are good, I can say that he's recovered now. I'll excuse myself now.. and your long wait is worth it" The doctor said as he patted Kai's shoulder then left.
Long wait? Baekhyun asked himself again.
"Thank heavens you're already awake.. We thought we'll lose you, your mom and dad had been worrying abut you but I guess the long wait's a worth now that you're awake by the way they're coming up" Kai said and Baekhyun furrowed his eyesbrows and even when he still felt weak he opened his mouth and tried to speak up.
"How.. How long was I asleep?" Baekhyun asked and Kai sighed as Baekhyun noticed sadess in his eyes. But before Kai can answer, Baekhyun's parents came and they both ran to Baekhyun and gave him a tight hug.
"Our sons awake" Baekhyun's mother said as she held on his father's hand tightly. Then again Baekhyun felt curious, since whenh did his father and mother were both in good terms? for all he know that both chose to seperate already.
"H-How?" Baekhyun asked out of confusion. "Why is there something wrong?" Kai asked also confused of what Baekhyun is asking about.
"H-How long was I asleep? a-and how did the two of you reconciled again?" Baekhyun asked and his parents, including Kai gave him a questioning look.
"Baekhyun.. Your father and I never fought, we were happy and you.. you were in coma for a year" His mother said and Baekhyun's eyes widened.
"A.. A year?" He asked himself but unconciously stated it loudly.
"You were involved in an explosion Baekhyun. While you were fixing this plane machine something suddenly went wrong that it exploded, we thought you'll die, you're badly injured" Kai said and Baekhyun grew more confused this time.
"E-Explosion? Wa.. Wasn't it because I was hit by a car?" Baekhyun asked and his father gave him a worried look. "You were not involved in any vehicle accident Baekhyun, you were involved in an explosion" His father explained and Baekhyun shook his head as he looked up again his eyes meeting the eyes of everyone in the room.
"N-No.. I remember clearly everything mom. I was from Taeyeon's burial ceremony and I walked on the empty street and suddenly I heard this loud honk and when I turned around the headlights blinded me and I was't able to move and.. I woke up here. Right now" Baekhyun said and Kai and his parents looked at each other before shaking their heads.
"Who.. Who is Taeyeon?" Kai asked and Baekhyun's jaw dropped in disbelief.
"She's my girlfriend. Remember? Taeyeon's Yoona's bestfriend, you kow her Kai because Yoona is your girlfriend" Baekhyun stated and Kai furrowed his brows. "Yoona? I don't know anyone named Yoona" Kai said and Baekhyun shook his head.
"You're kidding me" Baekhyun said and Kai shook his head.
"I.. I don't know where or how you got those but I'm telling you Baekhyun that you never dated any girl named Taeyeon and I never dated anyone named Yoona" Kai explained and Baekhyun shook his head.
"This is not true.."
Why don't they remember her? Why am I the only one remebering this? Baekhyun asked himself as he sat down on one of the benches on the hospital's garden the late afternoon the same day. He doesn't understand what was happening but his parents had called his doctor earlier after he bursted in frustration telling them that he really knew someone named 'Taeyeon' and the he dated her and he even told them everything they did.
He knew that his parents were worried about him too but he felt that everything that had happened to him and Taeyeon was real. His doctor already talked to him, told him everything was just a dream or merely a memory while he's in the stae of coma. He tried asking why did it felt so real and the doctor only told him that it's because he grew so attached to that dream.
But why does it felt so painful when I lost you? Is it still because I'm just attached to you? A dream? A memory? Baekhyun thought as he felt his heart being clenched when he remembered that memory where he lost her. It felt so real, so real that he felt tears brimming on his eyes.
"Are you really just a dream when I was asleep and now a memory when I'm awake?" Baekhyun asked himself not caring if other people might hear him or his words. He remebered what his doctor had told him, that maybe, this Taeyeon he's been talking about was just a mere dream when he's in the state of coma and has become a great memory now that he's awake.
"But how can you be so real?" Baekhyun asked as he looked sideways and saw a single strand of a white flower baby's breath as they call it. He picked it up and studied it as it's white color attracted his eyes but as the strong wind blew his hand that was lightly holding the strand of the flower let go of it and the flower flew, taken by the wind.
Standing up, he walked to where the wind dropped the flower, he picked it up and as soon as his eyes set forward. His heart beated fast and had gone alive and his mind seemed to dysnfunction.
"Taeyeon.."
Right infront of him was the face of the girl he thought was just a mere dream, a memory. She's just a few meters away from him standing sideways, he took a step forward wanting to approach her but then stopped midway when he saw her smile and took a few steps away from him and into an unknown guy who approached her with a kid in his arms.
"Does it hurt?" He heard his familiar and melodious voice that he has always loved. "No.. daddy said he'll beat up the guy if he hurts me" The kid answered and Baekhyun saw her smile, that enticing smile of hers.
"Really?" She asked again and her voice ran into Baekhuyn's ears sending him a familiar shiver.
"Yes.." the kid said and Baekhyun now diverted his eyes on the man and the kid whom she's with. "My baby's a grown man now and because you didn't cry buy I will buy you an icecream" She said with a smile on his face and Baekhyun felt himself frown with her statement.
"Really mommy?"
That was the last string, he felt himself froze right where he was standing. did he just heard it right? He doesn't know why but he felt his heart clench and he found it hard to breath, he felt like tearing up and he felt so weak.
"Let's go now.."The man said as he walked away with the kidleaving her there but before she can take a step, her head turned sideways and their eyes met. She just gave him a smile, a little innocent smile but he saw nothing in her eyes unlike what he expected/
"Taeyeon-ah, let's go!" They both heard the man called and Taeyeon gave him a light bow and left hurriedly. Baekhyun wanted to run after her, he wanted to chase after her but he knew that even when he does, nothing will change because the Taeyeon he knew was just a memory to him now, and the girl he saw was never her.
She's never the same Taeyeon he always loved and fell for.
Because the Taeyeon he knew, may not be real but always will be his greatest memory.

A/N: Tears, tears and tears.. I cried while writing this urgh, I made this chapter while listening to SJ's memories and baby don't cry. Never though it'll affect my writing badly thought I was crazy.
