"Kai!"
"Kai please wake up!" Yoona said as she frantically ran down the stairs and to Kai who is now lying on the cold hard floor unconcious. Yoona kneeled down beside him ignoring all the whispers surrounding them, she tried to hold his arm but it looked like it was dislocated.
"Hurry call the doctor!" Yoona panicked while looking worriedly at Kai. "Go to the infirmary!" She heard some studens say but she stayed kneeling infront of the unconcious Kai with tears brimming on her eyes, students gather around and soon the doctor came.
"Anyone, don't touch him" The doctor said while some emergency response team came to pick Kai up and the students stepped back. "Ms. Shin, what happened to Kai? What's going to happen to him? Is he hurt badly? Why is he unconcious?" Yoona asked worriedly and Ms. Shin held Yoona's both arms and looked straight into the latter's eyes knowing that she's having a panick attack.
"Listen, I want you to listen to me carefully the next few minutes alright? I need you to be honest too" Ms. Shin said while looking at Yoona's eyes trying to divert the girl's attention who keep on fidgeting on her place. Making her stand still, Ms. Shin asked Yoona to calm herself down by taking a few deep breaths. Yoona, upon hearing Ms. Shin's commands nodded.
"You saw how he fell?" Ms. Shin asked and Yoona nodded. "Did anyone pushed him?" Ms. Shin asked and Yoona shook her head. She looked around and noticed that the students are dispersing little by little and Ms. Shin tightened her hold making Yoona's attention divert into her again.
"No, he seemed to be spacing out and when I called him to warn him about falling he already took a step forward and fell.." Yoona said finally looking back at the doctor and Ms. Shin sighed.
"Look, I don't know how your friend is but I'm sure the the team who took him will take good care of him. If you want, I can call the doctors right now and ask them about your friend's condition.." The doctor said and Yoona nodded before wiping her tears that are threatening to fall down.
"He's going to be safe right?" Yoona asked and Ms. Shin nodded meekly. "Of course, he's lucky that the response team is on standby here at the school for event purposes. I'm sure he's getting treated now" Ms. Shin said and Yoona nodded.
"I-I'll go now doctor.." Yoona said and Ms. Shin nodded. "Are you sure you're okay now?" Ms. Shin asked and Yoona nodded her head before giving her a weak smile. Walking away, Yoona kept wondering how Kai is doing now, she's still scared that something bad might happen to him knowing that he immediately went unconcious as soon as he fell down.
She suddenly felt her heart drop at the sight, she found it hard to breath and she felt like she's unable to move. Seeing Kai unconciously lying there made her feel so scared. Frantic steps snapped her back to reality as he saw Baekhyun running down the corridor, his eyes are focused into her as she noticed the scared look he has on.
"Y-Yoona, where's Kai? Where is he?" Baekhyun asked with his shaking voice and Yoona stood stiff there. Baekhyun held both of Yoona's arms and shook her making Yoona stumble back.
"Where is he tell me?" Baekhyun asked his voice getting louder this time and Yoona gulped seeing the face Baekhyun has now. It was the look being in panic, being in worry.
"H-He's taken to the hospital now.." Yoona said. "The hospital nearby her--"
Before Yoona could even finish her sentence, Baekhyun already let go of her and ran downstairs and Yoona turned following him with her gaze. How come Baekhyun looked so scared like that?
Shrugging her thoughts off, Yoona continued to wander around the school's corridor trying her best to divert her attention away from worrying Kai but as soon as she turned at the corner, she came face to face with Taeyeon.
"Hey.." Taeyeon said with her voice full of care and Yoona just bursted into tears as she threw her arms around Taeyeon.
"Hey.. I heard what happened. Kai's going to be okay, trust me"Taeyeon said soothingly while softly caressing Yoona's back and Yoona just nodded her head tightening her grip around Taeyeon's body. She just needs some comfort now and Taeyeon came at the right time.
"He's an idiot, how dare he fell on the stairs?!" Yoona said as she broke their hug while frowning and stomping her feet causing Taeyeon to lightly smile at her but still look at her friend worriedly. "You saw it?" Taeyeon asked and Yoona nodded her head causing Taeyeon to take Yoona's hand in hers.
"He'll be okay.. trust me" Taeyeon said with a smile while wiping Yoona's tears away and Yoona smiled before nodding her head.
"But.. you're with Baekhyun earlier right?" Yoona asked and Taeyeon nodded her head.
"Yes, but he ran off without any word as soon as he heard Kai was unconcious" Taeyeon said and Yoona nodded her head. "He even left some things.." Taeyeon said and Yoona noticed the phone Taeyeon is holding.
"He seemed to be in panick.." Yoona said and Taeyeon nodded her head agreeing with her.
"Of course he will.. Kai's his bestfriend" Taeyeon stated and Yoona nodded her head. "Are you sure you're okay now?" Taeyeon asked and Yoona smiled before nodding her head and giving her friend a quick hug.
"Yeah, I just need to let my fears out. Thank you" Yoona said and Taeyeon nodded her head.
"No problem.. You know I'm always here"
Meanwhile, frantically running along the hospital's hall Baekhyun ended up on the nurse's station as he kept phanting from all the running he did. Recognizing him, the nurse just stood there and didn't say anything.
"Did.. Did you saw Kai?" Baekhyun asked and the nurse recognizing the familiar name nodded her head and pointed towards the emergencydoors. Baekhyun nodding his head left the nurse's station and hurriedly ran to the emergency room.
"Excuse me? Are you a relative of the patient recently taken inside? Kim Jongin?" A nurse said as soon as Baekhyun stopped infront of the emergency room doors, peeking in inside the room.
"Yes, I am.. how is he now? Is he hurt badly?" Baekhyun asked. "He's safe now sir and you can visit him a few minutes from now. The doctors are running a few tests on him to make sure that the injuries are not that serious" the nurse answered and Baekhyun nodded his head as soon as he heard the nurse's statement.
"Injuries?" Baekhyun asked. "Yes, he suffered a few minor injuries on his right arm. He dislocated it and he got a sprained ankle" The nurse said and Baekhyun furrowed his brows.
"What.. really happened to him?" Baekhyun wondered. "The response team said he fell a flight of stairs sir.." The nurse answered and Baekhyun nodded his head again.
"Thanks.." Baekhyun said as he slumped his body on the bench and the nurse nodded before leaving. He just looked down on the floor as his elbos supported his upper body, being lost in his own worries, Baekhyun shook his head.
He doesn't know why but as soon as he heard Kai was unconcious, his body seemed to have it's own mind as he immediately got up and searched for his friend, he doesn't even know that Kai just fell on the floor since his mind was already clouded with worry as soon as he heard what happened to Kai.
"Please don't be sick again.." Baekhyun said as he closed his eyes and rested his exhausted body.
He needs to get a good explanation from Kai soon.
