Book 3: TWO WORLDS: The Beginning of the End (On Going)

"Now where are they?" Yoona grumbled as she paced back and forth infront of their classroom while waiting impatiently for Taeyeon and Baekhyun to arrive. The class would start any minute by now but by the looks of it, the two won't arrive any sooner at all. 
"Let's just go inside" Kai said and just time, they heard frantic footsteps coming. Turning their heads towards the sound, Yoona and Kai said Taeyeon and Baekhyun running down the hallway, upon seeing the intertwined hands of Taeyeon and Baekhyun, Yoona furrowed her brows but Kai doesn't seem to have noticed it as he was busy looking at the forming bruise on Baekhyun's face. 
Letting go of each other's hands, Baekhyun and Taeyeon stopped as they catched their breaths. Letting out a sigh, Yoona glanced at Kai before taking Taeyeon's hand and dragging her inside the classroom. On the other hand, as soon they were both left outside the room, Kai scratched his nape as he cleared his throat making Baekhyun look at him with a blank expression on. 
"Sorry dude" Kai said and Baekhyun smiled weakly as he punched Kai's arm lightly. "It's alright.. I apologize for acting like crap too" Baekhyun said as he scratched his nape and Kai chuckled as he hang his arms around Baekhyun's shoulder and ruffled his hair. "My brother's back" Kai said as he let go of Baekhyun and Baekhyun on the other shook his head while laughing too. 
Soon, their laughter died down as Mr. Jang stood beside them with the usual frown on his face. Both looking down on the floor, Baekhyun and Kai entered the room and went to their seats as Mr. Jang followed them. Soon, the class started and the pairs Kai's report came first. After that was Baekhyun and Taeyeon's and luckily, Mr. Jang liked their report and so he let them settle for their grades now.
After the class..
"You're going to work today?" Baekhyun asked as soon as everyone inside their room left. It was only the two of them together with Yoona amd Kai and occasionally Yoona would spare them glances thining how the two got really close after having a week alone together. 
"Yes.. I have to" Taeyeon said weakly and Baekhyun sighed as he nodded his head. "You'll be there until late night?" Baekhyun asked and Taeyeon stopped putting her books inside her bag and turned to face him. "I think I'll stay there until late night" Taeyeon answered and Baekhyun let out a sigh of disappointment again, as much as he hates Taeyeon working so hard, he knows that the latter doesn't want to ask for his help.
"Do you need me to fetch you?" Baekhyun asked and before Taeyeon could answer, Kai walked to them and hang his arms loosely around Baekhyun's shoulder before giving his friend a teasing look. "I smell something fishy here.. Care to share?" Kai asked while looking at the both of them back and forth and Taeyeon on the other hand looked down while Baekhyun pretended to try to hit him. 
"There's nothing alright.. just wait for us outside" Baekhyun said and Kai let go of him as he took Yoona's arm and walked towards the door. a few steps before going outside of the room, Kai turned to him again as he gave Baekhyun a fake flying kiss. "I'll wait here sweetie" Kai said and Baekhyun shivered in disgust as Kai bursted out laughing.
Turning his attention to Taeyeon, Baekhyun glanced at the door again before looking back at her who now finished packing up her things. "Is there something going on between the two? They seemed to be pretty close" Baekhyun said and Taeyeon looked at him in disbelief. "You don't know?" She asked in disbelief causing Baekhyun to look at her in confusion. 
"Is there something I should know about?" Baekhyun asked back and Taeyeon hang her bag around her shoulders as she gave him a small smile. "You should ask your friend and not me" Taeyeon said before walking towards the door and Baekhyun trailed closely behind her.
"Tell me" He whined and Taeyeon chuckled as she shook her head. "Ask Kai.. I don't want it coming from me" Taeyeon said but as soon as they went out of the room, Baekhyun saw Kai leaning away from Yoona from kissing her cheeks. "I.. think.. I know now" Baekhyun said and as soon as Kai noticed his and Taeyeon's presence there, he quickly took a step away and cleared his throat. 
Yoona on the other hand doesn't seem to mind their presence anymore, after all Taeyeon already knew about them. Taking her friend's hand, Yoona dragged Taeyeon away leaving Baekhyun and Kai behind. "It seems like you're hiding something from me huh?" Baekhyun asked before walking away and Kai, upon realizing what Baekhyun meant lifted his head up and ran to catch up with him.
"I'm not" Kai said while trying to catch his breath. "Oh really" Baekhyun said while looking straight into the hallway they were walking.  "You never asked!" Kai said with his voice liuder this time and Baekhyun glanced at him before shaking his head. "Is it?" Baekhyun asked and Kai pouted causing Baekhyun to hardly push him away. 
"But.. if you really want to know.. I can tell you after all you have all the rights" Kai said while winking at him and Baekhyun rolled his eyes in disgust. "Seriously?" Kai asked while faking hurt and Baekhyun shook his head upon seeing how playful his friend is. 
"I'm serious" Baekhyun said and Kai mumbled a few incoherent words before huffing and crossing his arms. "We're dating.. Yoona and I" Kai said and Baekhyun stopped his pace causing Kai to stop too and give him a questioning look. "Why?" Kai asked and Baekhyun finally smiled as he tackled Kai's head before ruffling his friend's hair. 
"Finally!" Baekhyun said before letting go of Kai. "What about you?" Kai asked making the smile on Baekhyun's face disappear. "Something wrong?" Kai asked and Baekhyun smiled a little as he shook his head. "Honestly.. there's nothing wrong with my life now. I think I've got everything" Baekhyun said making Kai look at him in confusion. 
"Wait.. what?" Kai asked while holding onto Baekhyun's arm and stopping him from walking any further. 
"I said.. I've got everything" Baekhyun said causing more confusion to Kai. "So?" Kai asked and Baekhyun shook his head upon his friend's slow mind. 
"I'm dating Taeyeon" 
"What?!"
