"Oh.. so a hardware store huh?" Taeyeon asked while chuckling a bit and Baekhyun pouted before scratching his nape. Even when Taeyeon didn't expect much about their supposed 'date' she found it amusing that Baekhyun and her ended up in a big hardware store. 

"I'm.. actually been wanting to take you here since early in the morning" Baekhyun said while still scratching his nape and Taeyeon raised her brows. "Why?" She asked and Baekhyun sighed as he removed his hand from his nape. "I noticed that your place looks a bit.. dull.. so I thought why not make it a bit livelier?" He asked and Taeyeon shook her head. 

"I'm actually been wanting to do that too but I don't have time.." Taeyeon explained and Baekhyun smile. "Really? You're not disappointed that I brought you here instead of somewhere else?" Baekhyun asked and Taeyeon nodded her head. "I'm not.. besides as I what I've said I've been wanting to do this. Thanks for taking me here" Taeyeon said with a smile and Baekhyun grinned. 

"Let's go look for suppiles?" He suggested and Taeyeon nodded her head as they walked around. "I'm actually thinking of painting the place blue.. what do you think?" Taeyeon asked while pushing the cart through the paint section. Looking around, Baekhyun nodded his head in agreement. "That would be cool" He said as he picked two buckets of a blue colored paint before putting it inside the cart. 

"We need brushes.." Baekhyun said but Taeyeon held his wrist before he can even pick a brush. "I have big ones at home.." Taeyeon said and Baekhyun raised his brows. "Really?" He asked and Taeyeon nodded her head. "I used to paint.." She said and Baekhyun nodded his head amused by the new information he got.

A few more minutes walking around the shop, Baekhyun and Taeyeon already decided that they got all the things they need. Queueing up in the line, Taeyeon took her purse out but Baekhyun stopped her. "I'll pay" Baekhyun said but when Taeyeon was about to oppose him, Baekhyun already handed his card to the cashier. 

"You shouldn't have done that" Taeyeon said and Baekhyun smiled as he shook his head. "You can pay me later" He said as he carried out the bags and gave Taeyeon a mischievous smile before walking towards the exit. Furrowing her brows, Taeyeon just sighed as she shook her head and trailed behind him. 

"Finally!" Baekhyun said in relief as he put all the bags he's holding down before slumping himself on the floor. "You need anything?" Taeyeon asked as she closed the door. "Water" He said and Taeyeon chuckled as she shook her head but nonetheless made her way to the kitchen to give him what he wants. Coming back, Taeyeon handed him the glass of water he asked for before going through the supplies they bouth and taking out the bucket of paint. 

Opening the lid, Taeyeon made her way towards her room and soon came out with a pair of broad brushes on her hand. "Let's get started" Baekhyun said as he stood up and pushed the couch on the other side of the living room and Taeyeon just shook her head. "I can do this alone.. just rest" Taeyeon said refusing to give him the other brush but Baekhyun shook his head as he snatched the poor brush away from her. 

"I won't let you do all this alone.." He said before kissing her cheek quickly and starting to paint the wall. Starting to paint too, Taeyeon started at the edges of the wall, Baekhyun noticed how Taeyeon carefully painted the surface. "Steady hands huh" He said and Taeyeon stuck her tongue out before resuming back to what she's doing. Soon, silence filled them up and Baekyhun came up with a plan after a few more minutes of silence. 

"Should I do this in a circular motion?" Baekhyun asked and was about to paint in circular when Taeyeon grabbed his grist and glared at him. "Don't you dare" She said and Baekhyun laughed. "I was just joking" Baekhyun said and Taeyeon rolled her eyes. "You seriously need to stop playing around.. you'll ruin this masterpiece" She said while looking at the halfway painted walls. 

"It's boring to do it this way repeatedly" Baekhyun said as he pouted and Taeyeon chuckled before shaking her head. Dipping a finger on the bucket, Taeyeon wiped it in Baekhyun's cheek and Baekhyun's eyes widened. "You.." He said in disbelief and Taeyeon bursted out laughing. Dipping his hand on the bucket too, Baekhyun walked to Taeyeon and the latter ran away. "I need my revenge" He said evilly before running after her and unfortunately, Taeyeon got stuck up at the corner. 

"I won't do it again.. I promise" Taeyeon said while raising her hands up in the air and Baekhyun gave her a doubtful look. "Really?" He asked as he stepped closer to Taeyeon and Taeyeon nodded her head, she wanted to take a step back but she's already trapped between the wall and Baekhyun. 

"Then.." Baekhyun said then stopped. "Then?" Taeyeon asked but before she can register anything, Baekhyun stole another kiss from her and this time before she knew it, Baekhyun wiped the paint on her cheeks already as soon as she kissed him back. 

"Yah" She said as she wiped the paint off her cheeks only to make the matter worse. The paint spreaded even more and Baekhyun ran around the couch and Taeyeon took the brush and pointed it at Baekhyun. "No.." He said and Taeyeon wiped the painted brush on her whoe hand before approaching Baekhyun with an evil smile on her face. 

"No please no" Baekhyun said as he took steps backward and Taeyeon smirked. "Payback time" She said as he reached out and her hand landed on his shirt causing them to both stop. "Oh my gosh.. I tainted your uniform" She said in a worry and Baekhyun chuckled. 

"It's alright.. I have a spare shirt" Baekhyun said as he smiled assuringly and Taeyeon just frowned. "Let's just continue painting this" Baekhyun said and Taeyeon nodded her head. Not long after, Baekhyun and Taeyeon finished painting the place already and Baekhyun sighed as he leaned his back on the dried wall. 

Looking out, of the window, Taeyeon saw that it was already dark outside. 

"Wait here I'll go get you something to eat" Taeyeon said and Baekhyun nodded his head. After a few minutes, Baekhyun got impatient so he got up and walked towards the kitchen and saw Taeyeon sitting at the kitchen counter while staring at the oven infront of her. 

"Vusy are we?" Baekhyun asked causing Taeyeon to flinch. "Are you hungry?" She asked while still sitting at the counter and Baekhyun shook his head as he took a seat beside her. "Not yet.. what are you doing anyways?" Baekhyun asked and Taeyeon pointed at the pizza being heated inside the oven. 

"That looks great" Baekhyun said and Taeyeon chuckled. "You're surely hungry" She said as he pinched his cheeks and Baekhyun shook his head. "I'll go put the couch back so we can eat properly" Baekhyun said before kissing her cheek and walking towards the living room again. 

After arranging the things back on its place again, Taeyeon walked out only to see Baekhyun sitting at the couch while string blankly at the newly painted wall. "Something wrong?" She said as she placed the food at the small table infront of them before sitting beside him. Going back to his senses, Baekhyun shook his head.

"Nope.. there's nothing wrong" He said before giving her an assuring smile. 

"Are you sure?" Taeyeon asked and Baekhyun nodded his head as he leaned in and kissed her forehead. Taeyeon on the other hand rested her head on head on his shoulder and his arms automatically wrapped around her. "You know that you can tell me anything right?" Taeyeon asked and Baekhyun hummed. 

"I know" He said. "I know"

But what about the deal? He thought.
