BDC Chapter 28

"Baekhyun, please come with me to the faculty room" Their homeroom teacher said and Baekhyun sighed before nodding his head and following the teacher out of the room. Yoona on the other hand stood up from her seat and walked to Taeyeon upon noticing the look the students gave Taeyeon. 
"Don't mind them.." Yoona said before opening her book and pretended to read it. Taeyeon on the other hand looked at her and saw a flash of sadness in the latter's eyes. Reaching her hand out to Yoona's shoulder, Taeyeon gave her a friend a worried look as Yoona looked up to her and raised her brows. 
"What is it?" Yoona asked and Taeyeon furrowed her brows before giving her a questioning and Yoona opened her mouth and closed it again already catching what Taeyeon meant. Looking around, Yoona stood and u and grabbed Taeyeon's hand before pulling her out of the room and Taeyeon knew immediately that something is going wrong with Yoona. 
Ending up in the hallway, Yoona looked down and and tried to prevent her tears but she just did so knowing that she won't be able to hide it any longer anyways. Taeyeon, letting out a sigh walked to Yoona and hugged her friend tightly before caressing her back softly wanting to sooth her. No, she didn't ask Yoona anything, instead, she just hugged her and let Yoona spill out what she's holding inside. 
"I hate this.." Yoona said while her head is buried and Taeyeon's shoulder and Taeyeon just sighed. 
"It's alright to cry.. it is" Taeyeon said to Yoona and Yoona chuckled bitterly. "Says the one who hates crying" Yoona said before breaking their hug and Taeyeon lightly chuckled before helping Yoona wipe her tears away, while doing so, Kai arrived from the corner of the hallway and saw Taeyeon wiping Yoona's tears away and seeing those tears in Yoona's eyes made him heart feel so heavy. 
He doesn't know why he's crying but he unconsciously clenched his fist assuming that the guy Yoona's dating was the reason why she's crying. 
He hated seeing her that way yet he can't even bring himself to approach her and ask what's wrong. 
Pathetic. 
Shaking his thoughts off, Kai fought his inner self that was asking him to approach Yoona. Quickly leaving, sighed heavily as he ruffled his hair in frustration. 
"What's wrong? Is there something bothering you?" Taeyeon asked and Yoona slowly nodded her head before wiping her last tears. "It's just that.. something's making me feel so bad" Yoona said before resting her aback on the wall and Taeyeon gave her a questioning look. 
"Then what is it?" Taeyeon slowly asked and Yoona sighed before pinching the bridge of her nose. "It's Kai.." Yoona said and Taeyeon's expression quickly changed into a surprised one.
"Did he do something wrong?" Taeyeon asked and Yoona bit her lower lip before shaking her head. "Then what is it?" Taeyeon asked and Yoona sighed before looking up into the ceiling and letting out a groan. Looking back to Taeyeon, Yoona slowly shook her head in disappointment. 
"He keeps avoiding me" Yoona said and Taeyeon raised her brows. "He's avoiding you?" Taeyeon repeated and Yoona nodded her head.
"How come?" Taeyeon asked herself in confusion and Yoona heard it. "I don't know.. I don't know" Yoona said repeatedly and Taeyeon sighed before taking Yoona's hand and looking straight into her friend's eyes. Slowly, a small encouraging smile appeared on Taeyeon's face as she squeezed Yoona's hand. 
"Maybe.. he's just thinking whether he should confess to you or not" Taeyeon simply said and Yoona immediately looked at Taeyeon giving her a questioning look. "Really? You think so?" Yoona asked like a child wanting to verify something an adult had said. 
"You said so.. You said he likes you, what if.. he just wants to take time before you know.. he confesses to you" Taeyeon said with a small reassuring smile even when she herself isn't sure why Kai has been avoiding Yoona. She noticed it too but the way Baekhyun gave Yoona an advice earlier seemed to make the situation more understandable and easier to fix. 
After all, Baekhyun's advice is all about Yoona giving some of her time with Kai.
Maybe that's just it. 
"I don't want to think that way.. after all--" 
"Is he back?" Taeyeon asked and Yoona raised her brows and suddenly a thought came into her mind as she immediately nodded her head. Taeyeon can only do nothing but to nod her head knowing who Luhan is in Yoona's life, it's not that she has something against the two but she knows that she doesn't have to pry further in Yoona's life. After all, Yoona's old enough to make her decisions and Taeyeon trusts her with that. 
"He asked me to come at the soccer match.. can you accompany me there?" Yoona asked and Taeyeon smiled noticing that slowly, Yoona's getting better. "Of course.. if that's what you want" Taeyeon said with a smile and Yoona hugged her tight with a smiled plastered on her face.
"I don't seriously know what will I do without you" Yoona said with a smile after they broke their hug and Taeyeon lightly chuckled before shaking her head slowly. "I don't know what I am now without you' Taeyeon said and Yoona chuckled before engulfing her best friend in a tight hug again but soon they broke apart when Yoona's phone rang. 
"Hello? Yes coach, I will be there" Yoona said as she immediately hang up and gave Taeyeon an apologetic look. "Sorry, but I have to go now. Coach wants to see me" Yoona said apologetically and Taeyeon smiled before shaking her head and squeezing Yoona's hand. 
"It's alright.. you can go now. I'll be fine" Taeyeon said reassuringly and Yoona gave her an are-you-sure look and Taeyeon lightly chuckled before nodding her head again. "Alright.. see you later! Bye!" Yoona said as she dashed off and Taeyeon smiled as Yoona's figure started to face. 
But then suddenly, her smile disappeared she felt her wrist being pulled and before she even knew, she's standing beside the rails, looking down behind her, Taeyeon saw the school lobby below. No one was there and when she looked to her front, a hard slap was given across her face causing her to stumble sidewards. 
"You.. you even dared to flirt Byun Baekhyun huh?" The student asked and Taeyeon's lifted her gaze only to see three students standing in front of her. With her blank expression on, Taeyeon managed to compose herself and endured the stinging pain on her left cheek caused by the student.
"What now? You can't even say a thing?! Or are you planning to tell him?" The student asked and sounded like she's daring Taeyeon to say something but Taeyeon kept mum while looking straight into the student not being intimidated by her. Making the student more annoyed, Taeyeon just sighed before slowly shaking her head. 
"You won't speak?!" The student asked before landing another slap on Taeyeon's another cheek this time. Holding on to the railings, Taeyeon pushed herself up and tried to quickly walk away but the student pulled her back harshly.
At the same time, Baekhyun went out of the faculty room with a smile plastered on his face but then it was replaced with a look of terror when he saw Taeyeon being pulled by a student, the managed to run to her but everything was too late when Taeyeon's lower back hit the edges of the railings. Stopping where he was, Baekhyun's expression was nonetheless shocked and afraid. 
"Taeyeon!" Baekhyun shouted as he stepped to reach for her...
but everything was too late.

So yeah.. I'm kinda tired today since I just got done watching kdrama
