When I close my stars, all the stars align..

The loud yet slow music played though his earphones while Baekhyun is walking down the school corridor after their dismissal time,not bothered by the looks students give him when he passes, Baekhyun took a deep breath as he kept on walking without a destination on his mind.

"Hey Kim, where's your friend huh? Left you alone?"

Even with the music playing, Baekhyun can here the student's laughs and mocking voices. Turning sidewards to the hallways, he saw a crowd of students circling around random girl a few meters away, he stopped, he watched without uttering any words. No, he doesn't care but he felt curious of who is the new student these bullies are bullying again.

But to his surprise it was the same girl again. What was her name again?

Oh, he remembered.

Taeyeon. That's her name.

"I don't think she can have friends for too long. Remember, she's just a trash here and no one wants her" Another student said and Baekhyun still stood there with his hands on his pocket. No expressions on his face but he never left, like he's waiting for something to happen.

He wanted to go.

But his feet doesn't want to.

"Leave me alone.." The girl, whom he knew named Taeyeon finally spoke. No, it doesn't sound like she's pleading but it was flat, like it doesn't have any emotions at all. "Then let me see you cry first.." The third one said as he pushed Taeyeon's back against the locker but Taeyeon bit her lower lip and endured the pain she's going through right now.

No, she won't cry. Taeyeon was doing a pep talk to herself, she stood up, composed herself but got pushed again and this time she fell on the floor. Letting out a grown, Taeyeon lifted her gaze up as she saw another figure standing not far from where she is but the figure isn't moving and she already knew that maybe that person is just enjoying watching her get hurt.

Somewhere inside her, she knew that everyone in the world where she walks in doesn't accept her. She needs to get used to this already, no one will help her.

Brushing her hair to the side, Taeyeon looked up and their eyes met. She knew him, she knew who he is but she also knew that a person like him would not even give any attention especially to someone like her but despite of it, she somewhat saw something dominant filling in his eyes.

Pity.

But it changed suddenly when his gaze hardened and his face became blank suddenly. Turning his back, he walked away without looking back and checking on her, the students were still there, stating things she can't understand anymore as their voices just became a buzz inside her mind. Gathering up her things, Taeyeon quickly got up and ran away from the people who loves to hurt her.

"You're late.." Taeyeon's boss said sternly when she saw Taeyeon going inside of the cafe with still her uniform on. Bowing her head, Taeyeon muttered a light apology and went straight to changing her clothes. While on the staff room, Taeyeon took a seat on a chair not far away from her as her thoughts fully occupied her mind.

"Your mother died because of you! She died because of you, you useless child!" Her father shouted as he continued to hit Taeyeon hard. It had been a year after her mother's death and even when she's still in trauma about the accident, her father kept hurting her and blaming her for her mom's death.

She's just a child, she doesn't know much yet but her father's words struck permanently inside her brain as it continued to play and play again until now and even with years that had passed, she blames herself with her mother's death.

If only she didn't ask her to go out.

If only she stayed at home and obeyed her father.

None of that would have ever happened.

Feeling the wetness rolling down her cheeks, Taeyeon went back to reality as she wiped it away and took a deep breath. She thought, is not crying the right thing to do for you not to show your weakness? Maybe the people around her doesn't understand what she goes through right now, maybe the students in her school wanted to see her cry and be in pain but they will never know that even when she puts up a cold heart, even when she puts up a strong demeanor, she still cries and is broke deep inside.

Going out of the staff room, Taeyeon was greeted by her fellow workers and she kindly greets back. "Taeyeon, can you please clean up the table five?" Boa, her boss asked and Taeyeon nodded as she made herself to the table and did what her boss had asked her.

That was her routine the whole afternoon, go to tables, ask for orders, serve the people.

Smile.

She thought, is she going to live freely one day just like this people or is she going to just live miserably her whole life?

Feeling a hand on her arm, Taeyeon's chain of thoughts immediately broke as she saw the same student who bullied her earlier again. "Wow, never thought I'll see you here Kim" The student said with a mocking voice and the two other students that was with him laughed.

"Leave me alone Junsu.." Taeyeon lightly muttered as she tried to free herself away from the guy. "Why? The trash is embarassed?" Junsu asked and Taeyeon tried hard to yank Junsu's hand off her arm but he's too strong and Taeyeon can't do anything but to just leave him be, first, she can't break free and second she doesn't want to make a scene on her workplace.

"Just.. leave" Taeyeon said and Junsu chuckled sarcastically. Taeyeon then again tried to break free but Junsu tightened his grip making Taeyeon wince in pain but soon, she felt the grip loosened and saw a unfamiliar back facing her.

"Leave her alone.." The unfamilair guy said as he pushed Junsu away and blocking him from getting any closer to Taeyeon. Junsu just smirked and chuckled trying to mock him but the guy doesn't seem like imitated, Taeyeon can't see his face nor recognize his voice but it does sound familiar to her.

"Why is she your property Mr. Byun Baekhyun?" Junsu asked and Taeyeon this time was frozen on her place. First, she doesn't know what is happening and second she doesn't understand why Baekhyun is there standing up for her.

"She may not be, but you have to respect her as a lady" Baekhyun said and Junsu chuckled again but his expression changed into an angry one before grabbing Baekhyun's collar, looking straight into the eyes, Baekhyun wasn't even intimidated by a single bit.

Why would he? Junsu knows what he's going to be when he lays a hand on Baekhyun.

"You're lucky this kid's here with you.. but believe me Kim. If he's not here, you would be well played" Junsu said with a smirk on his face and then left. Knowing that Junsu out of sight, Baekhyun turned to Taeyeon with a distant look on. Taeyeon on the other hand took a step back by the close proximity as she looked down feeling scared of his intense gaze.

"Stay away from him.."

Right after that, Taeyeon just watched him walked away like nothing happened.

"Thank you.." Taeyeon muttered as she watched him disappear behind the doors.
