"Nayeon-ah.. let's go sleep"  Taeyeon said as she took Nayeon's hand and Nayeon nodded her head before following Taeyeon inside her room. Tucking the little girl to sleep, Taeyeon remembered that she they forgot to bring some of Nayeon's clothes since it was an abrupt decision, taking her money with her Taeyeon walked out of the room on to see Baekhyun sitting at the couch with his arms crossed while staring into nothing.
"Something wrong?" Taeyeon asked upon seeing the blank face Baekhyun has on, looking up, Baekhyun saw Taeyeon standing by at the door so he faked a smile before shaking his head. "You're going somewhere?" Baekhyun asked after seeing Taeyeon walk towards the front door.
"I'm planning to buy Nayeon some stuffs.." Taeyeon said with a smile and Baekhyun stood up and Taeyeon raised her brows while giving her a questioning look as soon as Baekhyun walked to her. "I'm going with you. Let's go" Baekhyun said as he held the door knob but Taeyeon held on his wrist on the other hand stopping him from turning it.
"Why?" Baekhyun asked. "I can go by myself" Taeyeon said and Baekhyun unwillingly removed her hand away from his wrist and gave her a small smile.
"Like I would let you do so.. let's go" Baekhyun said before opening the door and and Taeyeon didn't say anything anymore as she decided to just follow him instead. "Why are you walking behind? Walk beside me" Baekhyun said as soon as he noticed that Taeyeon was walking behind him, stopping his pace, Baekhyun waited until Taeyeon can catch up to him.
"Something wrong?" Baekhyun asked upon noticing Taeyeon's silence right at that moment. No. it's not that he's still not used to her being that silent but somewhat, Baekhyun felt like that silence means more than just plain silence, Taeyeon's silence has more meanings behind it just like now.
"Nothing" Taeyeon said with a smile and they continued to walk towards the night market located not far from where their cabin is. Suddenly, Taeyeon's phone beeped and as soon as she opened it a frown suddenly appeared on her face and it didn't escaped Baekhyun's observant eyes.
Watching her heaved out a sigh, Baekhyun frowned upon seeing Taeyeon frown lightly before putting her phone back in her pocket. "Is there something on my face?" Taeyeon asked upon noticing Baekhyun looking at her for a couple of seconds now.
Looking away, Baekhyun scratched his nape as he shook his head.  "Nothing" He answered.
Soon, they arrived at the night market and beautiful lights from each stores greeted them. The atmosphere was like a night festival and somewhat, the tiredness they're feeling faded away even if it's just for a little bit.
"Wow, I never expected something like this here" Taeyeon said in amazement and Baekhyun nodded with her in agreement. "Me too" Baekhyun said as he looked around and walked to a random store, of course, not forgetting to take Taeyeon with him since a lot people are there.
"Do you think this will fit Nayeon?" Baekhyun asked as he raised a random pair of pink flip flops and Taeyeon raised her brows before letting out a chuckle causing  Baekhyun to look at her in confusion. "Is there something wrong?" Baekhyun asked and Taeyeon bit her lower lip before shaking her head and taking the flip flops from Baekhyun and examining it while still trying to hold her laughter.
"Yah" Baekhyun whined and Taeyeon glanced at him before shaking her head. "You're weird" Baekhyun said as he continued to look into different pairs of shoes and flip flops for Nayeon. "I just can't believe that you're thinking of Nayeon too" Taeyeon said and Baekhyun furrowed his brows trying to connect the dots.
"Oh.. Yes. Besides, you're not the only person that's taking care of Nayeon, she's my responsibility too just like you are to me. Moreover, I won't seriously let you go out alone especially at night. Boa noona and Yoona will kill me" Baekhyun said while still busily looking at the displayed items.
Nodding her head, Taeyeon picked up a random pair of flops before lifting it up and showing Baekhyun. "I think this fits her" Taeyeon said while lifting up a blue flops and Baekhyun took something from the other side of the displays and showed it to Taeyeon too.
"Oh, it's a pair!" Taeyeon said as her face brightened upon seeing the flops that Baekhyun jsut handed her. The one he saw was the bigger one but the designs were similar making Taeyeon nod her head in satisfaction, handling it to the vendor, Taeyeon took her phone out but Baekhyun was faster than her.
"Keep the change ahjumma" Baekhyun said as he smiled and politely bowed to the older lady before turning to Taeyeon. "Why did you do that?" Taeyeon asked and Baekhyun shrugged his shoulders innocently before taking the plastic bag from her and taking her hand and pulling her to the next store.
"I'll pay you later" Taeyeon said out of the blue and Baekhyun turned his eyes to her before shaking his head. "No.. It's alright. Just buy something for you and Nayeon" Baekhyun said with a smile and Taeyeon frowned causing Baekhyun's smile to fade away too and knowing that Taeyeon is used to being independent, Baekhyun felt a bit guilty about making her feel like she's in debt.
"But--"
"Don't have to" Baekhyun said with a smile and Taeyeon nodded her head yet still the frown on her face hasn't lessened yet. "Don't feel bad about it" Baekhyun said while giving her a reassuring smile and Taeyeon nodded her head as she went to the next store that sells clothes.
"I'll just look for some gift for Kangta. Wait for me okay?" Baekhyun asked and Taeyeon nodded her head as she kept looking into the rack of clothes while Baekhyun on the other hand roamed around the store looking for the 'perfect gift for Kangta'.
Ending up in one of the racks, a smile suddenly appeared on Taeyeon's face as she saw something worth enough buying. Going to the counter, Taeyeon decided to pay for it and as soon as she got it, a smile appeared on her face immediately.
"You're done?" Baekhyun asked as soon as he saw Taeyeon paying at the counter, approaching her at the back, Baekhyun surprised Taeyeon causing her to flinch in surprise. "Y-Yeah.. What about you?" Taeyeon asked and Baekhyun gave her a confused look before shaking his head.
"I can't find a right one.. let's get going?" Baekhyun asked and Taeyeon nodded her head. Ending up infront of a food stall, Taeyeon and Baekhyun gave each other glances before walking to the stall and the old lady smiled upon seeing them act that way.
"Aigoo.. such a cute couple" The old lady muttered and Taeyeon smiled awkwardly, Baekhyun on the other hand didn't seem to have heard it. "Should we take some home for Nayeon?" Baekhyun asked as soon as he saw different flavored rice cakes before him, nodding her head Taeyeon smiled.
"I think we should take some home for the little angel.. grandma how much are these?" Taeyeon asked while pointing at the rice cakes and the old lady smiled before putting them inside a medium sized box and handling it to Taeyeon. "Since I just saw you two here and you looked like couple on a vacation. I'll give it for free" The old lady said with a smile and Taeyeon shook her head.
"No grandma.. we should pay. Besides we'll feel bad if you give us these for free"  Taeyeon said and the old lady chuckled. "No.. It's for free" The old lady said and suddenly Baekhyun thought of something.
"What about we pay the half of it grandma so we won't feel bad about it anymore?"  Baekhyun asked ad the old lady shook her head before smiling. "Aigoo, kids nowadays" The old lady said and Baekhyun chuckled as he scratched his nape before handling the lady more than what the rice cakes are worth.
"This isn't the half thake this" The old lady said and was about to hand Baekhyun the change when Baekhyun took Taeyeon's hand. "That's yours grandma! Live longer!"  Baekhyun said as he ran with Taeyeon away and the old lady shook her head while smiling.
"Love your girlfriend! Have a lot of kids!"
