"Ten more minutes please?"

"We'll be late" 

"Please" 

"Alright"

Taeyeon smiled as soon as Baekhyun finally agreed. Giving him a quick hug, taeyeon turned her attention to Nayeon who is sitting on her bed, they were back at the patient cabin and the day already came for them to leave the island. "Nayeon-ah.. obey doctor Kangta alright?" Taeyeon asked and Nayeon nodded her head while trying to prevent her tears from spilling out of her eyes. "I will umma" Nayeon said and Taeyeon smiled as she hugged Nayeon again. Last night wasn't enough for her to spend time with Nayeon after she and Baekhyun got back from their little 'date', being with Nayeon for several days, she already got accustomed to having the little girl beside her. 

"Be a good kid.. umma will visit you again" Taeyeon said as she gently patted Nayeon's head and Nayeon nodded. Not wanting to say goodbye to Nayeon on the other hand, Baekhyun opened the door and got out of Nayeon's room. Finally stepping out, Baekhyun saw Kangta sitting at the living room so he walked there and approached him. 

"You're done?" Kangta asked after closing the newspaper he's reading and looked up to Baekhyun who was standing just a few steps away from him. "Uhh.. no. I just can't bear to say goodbye to Nayeon. Not when she grew attached to me already" Baekhyun said mindlessly not knowing that Kangta was observing every word he says. "You really did changed" Kangta said as he put his leg over the other and crossed his arms over his chest. 

"Me?" Baekhyun asked with his brows furrowed. 

"How?" He added.

"you became so softhearted all of a sudden. I wonder what's the reason" He said with a smirk and Baekhyun chuckled as he shook his head. "There's no reason. Is it wrong that I wabted a change?" Baekhyun asked trying to divert Kangta's questions but unfortunately, Kangta was smart enough to know what Baekhyun is trying to do.

"A change for who?" Kangta asked as he looked at Baekhyun as if daring him to spill the truth or lie to him even more. "For what?" Baekhyun asked pretending not to get what Kangta means even if he really did. Why is he lying and avoiding Kangta's questions then? It's because Taeyeon asked him to be discreet about their relationship first, not until they're ready to face the 'known' consequences. 

He doesn't like that idea to be honest, but he knows that he's still not capable enough to protect Taeyeon from all those people that wanted her hurt. "For who" Kangta repeated his question earlier. "For me" Baekhyun answered quickly and Kangta chuckled as he shook his head causing Baekhyun to look at him with confusion. "You never get close with a girl" Kangta said and Baekhyun sighed as he shook his head, now he hated that Kangta knows him too well. "Taeyeon's different" Baekhyun answered not thinking about what it would mean to Kangta anymore. "Different in what way? I think you even hated the nicest girl in town and now you say that she's different? How so? Let me remind you why you hated girls Baekhyun.." Kangta said as he uncrossed his arms and stood up right to face him. 

Putting his hands on his pocket. Kangta then smirked again. 

"Because they're girls" 

Kangta said and Baekhyun opened his mouth and was about to talk when Kangta spoke again. 

and you hate all of them.. you hated each and every girl just because of a single bad memory" Kangta said and Baekhyun flexed his jaw as he remembered that day his mother left him and his dad for another man, it had been years, but everytime he remembers it, his heart aches, his heart clenches with anger. 

"Let's just stop here hyung.. I don't want to have any arguments with you. I know that Taeyeon's different, she's different" Baekhyun said or more like told himseld. Shaking his head, Baekhyun ly to see Taeyeon going out of Nayeon's room. Looking at them, Taeyeon let go of the knob as she approached them. 

"Is there something wrong?" Taeyeon asked upon seeing the frown on Baekhyun's face. Walking closer to them, she watched them back and forth in confusion, Baekhyun was having a frown on his face and it was visible that he was flexing his jaw and Kangta on the other hand was just staring at him with a blank expression. 

Finally regaining his composture, Kangta smiled at Taeyeon as he shook his head. Walking towards Taeyeon, Kangta patted Taeyeon's head lightly making Taeyeon flinch and Baekhyun frown even more. If looks could kill then even if they're friends, Kangta would be dead now. 

"See you next time.. visit us here as much as you can alright?" Kangta stated with a smile and Taeyeon nodded her head innocently. She doesn't have any idea what was happening between the two but she knows that something 'did' happened and by the looks of it, it made Baekhyun annoyed. 

"Don't worry about Nayeon when you're back in Seoul alright? I'll take care of that little kid" Kangta said with a smile as he put both of his hand on the pocket of his jeans and beamed a smile and Taeyeon smiled back as she nodded her head. "Thank you then" Taeyeon said politely and Kangta shook his head. 

"I'll--"

"--Let's leave" Baekhyun coldly said before Kangta could even finish his sentence., Going out of the door, Baekhyun didn't even waited for Taeyeon to follow him. He just went out and slammed the door hard making Taeyeon flinch upon the sudden noise. Turning to Kangta, Taeyeon gave him a questioning look.

|"did.. did something happened?" Taeyeon asked and Kangta scratched his nape. "I think I went overboard with a playful tease. Don't worry, he's going to be fine" Kangta said and Taeyeon nodded her head still not satisfied with Kangta's answer. Giving him a small bow, Taeyeon turned towards the door and left.

Walking out of the cabin, Taeyeon walked towards Baekhyun who was now leaning his back against the car while looking towards the vast sea with a frown on his face. 

"Is there something wrong?" Taeyeon asked and Baekhyun opened the car door for Taeyeon. 

"Get in" He said coldly. 

"Are you mad at me?" Taeyeon asked and finally Baekhyun came back to his senses. His annoyance had taken over him again and he hated that even Taeyeon got involved his his temper. Letting out a sigh, Baekhyun pinched the bridge of his nose and shook his head. 

"I'm not mad at you.. I can never get mad at you"
