"You shouldn't have ran away.." Taeyeon said as she breathed heavily after Baekhyun and her halted to a stop. Chuckling, Baekhyun shook his head as he wiped the beads of sweat that formed on his forehead.
"Then you want to stay there all night and keep arguing with the old lady?" Baekhyn asked and Taeyeon pondered about it for a moment before finally nodding her head partially agreeing with him. Looking around, a random stall caught her attention and Taeyeon walked to it leaving a confused Baekhyun behind.
Scratching his head, Baekhyun shook his head as he decided to follow her. Nearing the stall, Baekhyun noticed Taeyeon looking at random handmade bracelets. "You want to buy one?" Baekhyun asked as he picked up a random one and tried it on himself. "Yeah.. for Boa unnie and Yoona" Taeyeon said while not looking at him and Baekhyun nodded his head as he smiled.
Seeing Taeyeon still thinking of her friends made him glad already.
"Something wrong?" Taeyeon asked as she turned her head to look at him and Baekhyun smiled before shaking his head, upon seeing this Taeyeon looked back at the rack of beautifully handmade bracelets. "Nothing.. are you done?" Baekhyun asked while peeking over Taeyeon's shoulder and Taeyeon shook her head before turning to look at him again but her eyes widened as she saw him inches close to her.
Quickly taking a steps back, Baekhyun cleared his throat as he scratched his nape while looking away. Taeyeon on the other hand calmed her breathing as she shook her head and focused on choosing what the nice gifts for Yoona and Boa are.
Finally picking the right ones, Taeyeon paid for it and saw Baekhyun waiting for her a few steps away from the stall. "Hey.." Taeyeon called making Baekhyun flinch, raising his brows Baekhuyn gave her a questioning look.
"What is it?" He asked still awkward about what had happened earlier.
"Let's go back?" Taeyeon asked and Baekhyun nodded his head in agreement.
"Let's go back" He said.
"I.. uhm.. about earlier.. I'm sorry" Baekhyun said as soon as silence engulfed them on their way back home. "It's alright.. it's no one's fault anyways" Taeyeon said while looking straight and Baekhyun sighed before nodding his head.
"T-Thank you?" Baekhyun said nervously and hesitantly causing Taeyeon to chuckle, turning his head to look at her Baekhyun raised his brows as he gave her a questioning look. "Is there something funny?" Baekhyun asked in confusion and Taeyeon shook her head.
"You" She said while still looking straight. "Why me?" Baekhyun asked while pointing at himself.
"Nothing" Taeyeon answered as she fastened her pace making Baekhyun walk quickly too. "Tell me" Baekhyun whined and Taeyeon laughed lightly before shaking her head and walking near towards the water. Noticing this, Baekhyun just watched her.
"What are you doing?" Baekhyun asked as soon as Taeyeon removed her flops and dipped her feet on the water. "Hmm.. nothing" Taeyeon said as she walked forward again letting the waves touch her feet.
"Won't the be sticky?" Baekhyun asked innocently and Taeyeon looked back before bursting into laughter. "Why?" Baekhyun asked this time innocently again causing Taeyeon to shake her head and prevent her laughter.
"Nothing.. why don't you just try it?" Taeyeon asked and Baekhyun's face distorted. "I'll get my feet wet and step on the sand? Ewww, no way" Baekhuyn said while shaking his head and Taeyeon shook her head as she walked away causing Baekhyun to run to her.
"Why are you always leaving me behind?" Baekhyun asked with a pout visible on her face and Taeyeon furrowed her brows while preventing herself from laughing. "Am I?" Taeyeon asked and Baekhyun scrunched his brows before pouting even more.
"You do" Baekhyun answered and Taeyeon reached out and caressed his scrunched eyebrows with her thumb causing Baekhyun to look down as soon as Taeyeon retreated her hand back.
"Sorry.." Taeyeon said apologetically and Baekhyun chuckled before shaking his head.
"It's alright" Baekhyun said with a smile and Taeyeon nodded her head before walking again this time motioning her to follow him. Seeing this action made by her, Baekhyun chuckled as he fastened his pace and catched up with her.
Taking her hand on his, Baekhyun walked back home with a smile on his face.
The next day..
"Thank you umma!" Nayeon said happily as soon as Taeyeon handed her the new pair of flip flops she bought the night before. "You're welcome" Taeyeon said and Nayeon beamed happily before encircling her little arms around Taeyon's neck and hugging her tight.
"You love it?" Taeyeon asked as soon as they broke their hug. "I love it umma. Thank you" Nayeon said before trying her new flops and Taeyeon smiled upon seeing it fit perfectly.
"I got something for you too" Taeyeon said and Nayeon tilted her head and Taeyeon took out a white shirt with a drawing of an island at the center of it. "Wow.. Thank you umma" Nayeon said before giving Taeyeon a quick hug again and Taeyeon smiled before ruffling the little girl's head.
"What about me?" Baekhyun asked as he pouted and causing Nayeon to look at Taeyeon. Taking something out from the bag where Nayeon's shirt came from, Taeyeon handed it to Baekhyun. "For me?" He asked and Taeyeon nodded her head.
Unfolding the shirt, Baekhyun smiled as he noticed that it was the same as Nayeon's.
"Appa.. we have the same!" Nayeon said upon noticing the similarities too. "What about you umma?" Nayeon asked and Taeyeon took another shirt out from the bag and showed it to Nayeon causing the little girl to grin.
"Umma got one for herself too" Taeyeon said as she unfolded it and the same print was shown. "Yay! We're all the same" Nayeon said happily and Taeyeon nodded her head while Baekhyun on the other hand ruffled Nayeon's hair.
"I got something for my little princess too" Baekhyun said as he took out a handmade bracelet from his pocket and clasped it around Nayeon's wrist. "Appa.. it's beautiful" Nayeon said and Baekhyun smiled proudly.
"Of course.. I made it" Baekhyun said with a smile. "Really?" Nayeon asked and Baekhyun nodded his head.
"What about umma?" Nayeon asked and Baekhyun took another similar one and walked to Taeyeon before tying it on her wrist. While doing so, Nayeon smiled and suddenly thought of something.
"Appa.. do you love umma?" Nayeon suddenly asked out of the blue causing Baekhyun to stop tying the know on Taeyeon's bracelet. Glancing at Taeyeon, Baekhyun smiled before looking at Nayeon and nodding his head.
"Of course.. I love your umma.. very much"
