"Kai.. can you accompany me somewhere today?" Yoona asked as soon as Kai answered her call. Looking at the clock, Kai saw that it was just seven in the morning and yet there Yoona already is, calling him and asking him to accompany her for the day. Letting out a sigh, Kai flipped his body as he stared into the blank ceiling.
"Where?" Kai asked lifelessly and Yoona noticed it of course. Kai wasn't like that before and even if they're in good terms again right now, Yoona can sense that Kai isn't the same as he is when he's around her anymore and she just dislikes it. Yet, she can't complain.
"It's a secret.. just meet me up at the nearby mall at the school. Can you?" Yoona asked and Kai let out a deep breath before nodding his head. "Alright.. I'll see you" He said and hang up not even waiting for her to answer anymore. Throwing his phone aside, Kai swallowed the lump on his throat as he remembered the words he had told Yoona on the day they reconciled.
"You can forget about your past but you can't forget how your future used to be"
He sighed. His heart keeps hurting and even when there's a thousand ways for him to mend it, he knows that not even a single one would heal the scar already made on it because it keeps on opening again and again and he hates it.
He doesn't have enough power to stop Yoona from staying inside his heart and making more and more wounds.
Halfheartedly getting out of the bed, Kai was about to go to the bathroom when he heard his phone beeped. Picking it up, he saw Yoona's name flashed on the screen. Opening the message, it made him frown more and moreover he felt bad for treating her that way.
You don't have to force yourself to accompany me, I'll be alright - Yoona
Pressing the call button, Kai sighed as he put his free hand on his waist and after a few rings, Yoona picked up. "Hello?" She said and Kai turned around and walked towards the blinds and opened it. "Hey.. I'm going with you today if that's what you're worrying about." Kai said and he heard Yoona on the other hand sighed and just by hearing her that way made his heart clench again.
"It's okay. Honestly." Yoona said and Kai sighed. "I already decided. I'll be there in thirty" Kai said then he hang up and threw his phone on his bed and walked to the bathroom. Doing his usual morning routine, Kai felt heavy that day even when he knew that he and Yoona are in good terms again.
Seeing his reflection in the mirror, Kai thought. Is that guy Yoona's dating much better than me?
Letting out his frustrations, Kai punched the mirror causing it to be cracked and his knuckled to bleed. Hissing in pain, Kai opened the faucet and let his blood be washed away by the water. Oh, how he wished that the pain he's bearing right now can be easily washed away like that.
Getting himself ready, Kai chose random clothes and walked out of his house before getting into his car. Driving to the school, Kai stopped as soon as he saw Yoona standing at the sidewalk. Stopping his car there, Kai got out of the car and Yoona smiled.
Smiling back a little, Kai opened the door and Yoona got in before muttering a light 'thank you'.
Starting the engine, Kai held onto the steering wheel again but then stopped when Yoona held his wrist. Looking at her, Kai noticed that Yoona's looking at his wounded knuckles worriedly. "What happened to you?" Yoona asked worriedly while taking his hand away from the steering wheel and examining it carefully.
"Just some accident back home.. I'm fine" He said before taking his hand back but Yoona held on it tighter. "Is it painful?" She asked and and Kai slowly shook his head.
Not as painful as the pain you've been causing me, Kai thought.
"Are you sure? The cuts are a bit deep" Yoona said and Kai sighed before taking his hand away and successfully doing it, he shook his head. "I'm fine" He said before starting the car again and began to drive. "Can you drop me by at the nearest convenience store first?" Yoona asked and Kai furrowed his brows with his eyes still focused on the road but nevertheless did so.
"Wait here alright?" Yoona said and Kai nodded his head before stopping the car and Yoona got off and quickly went inside the store. After a minute or so, Yoona came out and Kai saw that she's holding a small paper bag, he was about to start the engine again but Yoona stopped him by grabbed his wrist and pulling his hand closer to her.
"What are you doing?" Kai asked. "I'm going to treat this wound of yours first" Yoona said and Kai was about to speak up when he noticed her taking a wound disinfectant and a cotton from the paper bag, lightly pouring some disinfectant on the cotton, Yoona held his hand deftly and lightly poked the cotton against his wounded knuckles before blowing on it.
Watching her do it, Kai chanted words inside his mind.
Stop making me fall for you more and more, Kai begged mentally.
Stop making me love you more, he thought.
On the other hand, Yoona smiled as she saw that she put the disinfectant successfully. Reaching out on the paper bag again, Yoona took the bandage and wrapped it around Kai's knuckles. Carefully finishing it, Yoona caressed his knuckles before letting go of his hand making Kai miss the warmth and softness of her hand.
"All done" Yoona said and Kai took his hand back before starting the engine and drove off.
"Where are we going?" Kai asked as he stopped when he saw the red light. Reading something on her phone, Yoona spared him a glance before lookingat both sides of the intersection. "Do you the nearest sport stadium here?" Yoona asked and Kai furrowed his brows. Nevertheless Kai nodded his head.
"I do" He said and Yoona smiled. "We'll head there" Yoona said and Kai nodded his head still not having any idea why Yoona would want to go there. Driving their way towards the place, Kai kept thinking why Yoona would suddenly want to go to the sport stadium.
Arriving there, Kai parked his car at the reserved parking lot for the stadium and saw a lot of people there outside the stadium. Furrowing his brows, Kai glanced at Yoona and she immediately knew the questioning look on her face.
"We're going to watch a football game" Yoona said and Kai felt like that place isn't giving him a good feeling at all. He doesn't understand why but it seems like his mind and even his heart seemed to dislike this place.
"Oh" Kai said and Yoona took his hand before dragging him towards the entrance. Sitting at the lowest seat that was just near the field, Yoona settled at one of the chairs and Kai followed her. Soon enough, Kai noticed that Yoona stood up and before he knew it, Yoona was hugging someone already and by the looks of it, it is Luhan.
Breaking their hug, Kai noticed that they wore matching smiles. "I'm glad you came" Luhan happily said and Yoona smiled brightly before nodding her head and Kai noticed that Yoona patted Luhan's cheek. "Of course.. I wouldn't miss your game" Yoona said and turned to Kai who now have a frown on his place.
"Kai's with me" Yoona said with a smile and Kai faked a smile and Luhan offered his hand. Out of respect, Kai reached out and shook Luhan's hand. "Thank you for accompanying my Yoong here today" Luhan said thankfully and Kai nodded his head nonetheless Yoona and Luhan didn't even noticed the frown on his face.
"You're welcome" Kai said while still faking the smile he has. "Well, I'm going back. Enjoy the game" Luhan said as he waved goodbye and walked away. Going back to their seats, Yoona noticed that Kai was just staring straight into the vast field.
"Something wrong?" Yoona asked and Kai sighed before pushing himself up and glancing at her. "I'm going to the restroom first. Be back" He said with no emotions at all and Yoona furrowed her brows before pondering of what she did wrong.
Arriving at the nearby restroom, Kai sighed as he groaned loudly before opening the faucet and splashing the water on his face.
"You stupid you fool you. ARGH!" Kai shouted frustratedly as he stared his reflection on the mirror. Hearing the door closed, Kai looked through the mirror and saw Luhan standing by the door.
"What are you doing here?" He asked with his voice full of annoyance.
"Just passed by" Luhan answered calmly and Kai exhaled deeply trying to control his frutrations and anger.
"Can you leave?" Kai asked trying to sound polite at all and Luhan furrowed his brows.
"Why it's not like--"
"JUST FREAKING LEAVE ME ALONE!" Kai shouted and Luhan was taken aback by his sudden burst out nevertheless, Luhan chuckled as he shook his head causing Kai to removed his hands against the faucet and turn to Luhan.
"Are you mocking me?" Kai said as he walked closer to Luhan with anger burning on his eyes.
"Why would I?" Luhan asked while looking straight into Kai's dark eyes.
"You seem so" Kai said and Luhan chuckled but then his expression quickly changed into a devilish one and before Kai knew it, Luhan's fist landed on his cheek already causing him to drop on the floor.
"I hope that wakes you up.. Ouch" Luhan said as he continuously shook his aching hand that punched Kai. Turning around, Luhan sighed as he looked back at Kai who seemed to be having a hard time standing up because of the hard impact.
"I hope that makes you realize that you're about to lose something. Fight for it or lose it because I'm telling you Kai, I won't have any second thoughts taking it away from you" Luhan said as he walked out from the door and Kai groaned before standing up and stumbling a few steps backward.
Walking out of the door, Kai saw Luhan walking down the hall.
"I'm going to fight.. and I won't have any second thoughts about it either" Kai said and Luhan chuckled before nodding his head and walking away not even sparing Kai a glance. Kai on the other hand clenched his fist and flexed his jaw.
"I'm going to fight for her"

A/N:  I was expecting myself to write a fluff for YoonKai today but surprise? Luhaaaan's statement aigoooo and poor Kai..
Should I make him hit Luhan's precious face? Oh no.. I know you don't want that :D
Hmm, BaekYeon on the next next chapter since it's going to be YoonKai again.
Oh and for YoonKai shippers out there.. should I say watch out? *evil smile*
