"What?" Baekhyun asked upon Kai's reaction. However, when Kai was about to say something again, Yoona voice rang through the hallways stopping Kai from saying what he wanted to say. "Let's go.. the girl's are waiting" Kai said as he gave Baekhyun a small smile and patted Baekhyun shoulder as a sign of his approval with his newly found relationship. 
Walking towards Yoona, Kai took his hand and Baekhyun sighed as he followed the couple closely behind. Going out of the school building, Baekhyun saw Taeyeon waiting patiently under a tree just a few meters away from the building doors. Not wanting her to wait any longer, Baekhyun fastened his pace leaving Yoona and Kai behind. Upon seeing this, Yoona furrowed her brows as she turned her head towards Kai. 
"Is there something going on between the two that I don't know about?" Yoona asked and Kai knew right at that moment that Taeyeon didn't tell Yoona anything yet and knowing that he wasn't in place to tell Yoona about Baekhyun and Taeyeon's relationship, Kai shrugged his shoulders as he chose to hide the truth from her for now. "I don't know.. but if there's something going on between them we can always ask the two right?" Kai asked and Yoona nodded her head, as much as he wants to tell his girlfriend the news, he knows that it's still the new couple's choice. 
But he still prays that Taeyeon would tell Yoona sooner or later, why? Well, it's better if Taeyeon will tell her the truth sooner because if she finds out that he already knows about it and chose to hide it from her, he surely knew that he would face her wrath. 
Walking towards them, Yoona noticed that Baekhyun this time seemed to be asking something for her while reaching for her bag and Taeyeon seemed to be refusing from it. Yoona, upon seeing this furrowed her brows as she thought of what's really happening between her friend and Baekhyun. "I think there's really something going on" Yoona said and Kai sighed before shaking his head probably pitying her for being oblivious about the news nonetheless, Kai reamins his composture on as he held her hand and walked towards the two. 
"Are you going to the cafe today?" Yoona asked and Taeyeon nodded her head causing Yoona to look at her in confusion. "You aren't going to take a rest day?" Yoona asked and Taeyeon shook her head before giving her friend an answer. "I don't think I can.. Boa unnie already gave me a week for a break already and asking for another day for a break will make me feel bad" taeyeon explained and Yoona sighed, as much as she wants to oppose her friend, she knows Taeyeon too well. She means what she says. 
"But you spent that week doing all the report you need" Yoona reasoned out still trying to change Taeyeon's mind. "I know.. but I still got some rest so you don't have to worry. Besides, I already promised unnie that I'll come this afternoon to give her a hand on the cafe" Taeyeon said and Yoona pouted but it seemed like it wouldn't change a thing to change Taeyeon's mind. "I just want to have some sister bond with you today" Yoona said as she continued to pout and Taeyeon chuckled. 
"I can't Yoona.. not today" Taeyeon answered meekly and Yoona sighed as she crossed her arms. "I don't think I can really change your mind. So you're leaving now?" Yoona asked as her expression suddenly changed into an almost blank one before uncrossing her arms. "Yes" Taeyeon answered while nodding her head. 
"I'll drive you there" Baekhyun suddenly spoke up and Yoona turned her eyes to him before looking at him intensely causing her eyes to form a thin line and of course Taeyeon noticed this and just shook her head. "It's alright" Taeyeon kindly rejected his offer. Yes, she knows that it's Baekhyun's responsibility to keep her safe at all time but it seems like she grew too independent that she doesn't need to ask for someone else's help nor company anymore, she grew accustomed to it and she herself knows that she can handle things well already on her own.
"I insist" Baekhyun said and Taeyeon can't do anything but to nod her head and finally agree with him. Remembering her promise to him earlier, Taeyeon promised herself to be a better girlfriend for her not to be hurt and feel incomplete and unsatisfied with their relationship anymore. "We'll follow you there.. maybe we can have some chitchat while you're working right?" Yoona asked and Taeyeon pondered about it for a moment before nodding her head. "Sure.. why not" Taeyeon answered and Yoona smile in victory. 
"I'll drive Taeyeon there.. would you want to hitch a ride with us?" Baekhyun offered and this time Kai waved his hands in the air midway before shaking his head. "It's alright.. I brought my car with me" Kai said with a teasing look and luckily Yoona didn't saw this or else she's bombard him with questions of why he's teasing Baekhyun. Nodding his head, Baekhyun let Kai do what he wants, after all he knew Kai would cause him trouble if they ever hitch a ride with them.
"Then.. let's go now" Baekhyun said and Kai nodded his head as he took Yoona's hand and dragged her towards his car. Seeing them disappear on the other hand, Baekhyun gave Taeyeon a smile before taking her hand gently and intertwining his hands with hers before heading towards his car. 
The ride to the cafe was silent and Baekhyun felt like he's suffocated with the silence. Why wouldn't he when there was still that little awkward silence that's accompanying them, it felt great to be beside her but nonetheless it felt worst too especially right at that moment where they were both silent. 
"Is there something wrong?" Baekhyun asked when he saw Taeyeon sigh and lean her head towards the car window. "Nothing.. how about you?"  Taeyeon asked while glancing at him then back outside again. "I.. Am I making you feel forced about this relationship?" Baekhyun suddenly asked and Taeyeon removed her head from the window before letting out a deep breath and extending her hand to caress his cheek. "No.. you're not" Taeyeon said trying to comfort him.
"I feel like it" Baekhuyn said as he frowned a little before giving Taeyeon a quick glance and back to the road again. 
"You never made me feel forced.. I love you remember?" Taeyeon said with a smile and that was more than enough to make all those bad feelings inside him go away. "Really?" He asked like a kid and Taeyeon chuckled before nodding her head. 
"Really"
