"Baekhyun, I need to talk to you.." Kai said as he followed Baekhyun inside his room. They just arrived at Baekhyun's room inside the mansion since Yoona and Taeyeon decided to spend some time together and knowing that the girls would catch up with the days they lost, Kai planned to talk to Baekhyun about the deal they made before but Baekhyun was nonchalant about it, he just threw his bag on the bed and laid down.
"What is it about?" Baekhyun asked not looking at Kai who was standing at the side of the bed.
"About the dare.." Kai said and Baekhyun's eyes immediately turned to Kai. Sitting up, Baekhyun gave his friend a confused look.
"What is it about the dare?" Baekhyun asked and Kai took a deep breath before looking straight into Baekhyun's eyes.
"Let's stop it.."

"Kai, what do you think is the best lesson for the report?" Yoona asked while her eyes are focused on the book she's looking at. Brows furrowed, Yoona kept turning to different pages not knowing what to do with the words she kept seeing at the book. They had been looking at the best report for alredy an hour at the school library but nothing filled their empty minds. Waiting for his answer, Yoona tore her gaze off the book and saw Kai looking into emptiness with his brows furrowed, he seemed to be thinking of something.
"Hello, from earth to Kai?" Yoona said making Kai snap back to reality.
"What is it?" Kai asked while composing himself. "I'm asking you about your opinion with our reports.." Yoona said and Kai sighed before massaging his temples with his hands and Yoona just watched him. She knew that Kai's thinking about something other than the report they're going to make.
"Do you find any words that suit Mr. Jang's topic? He teaches good morals right? Maybe we can think of one" Kai said before taking the book from Yoona ready to see it but Yoona abruptly grabbed the book from him and gave him a stern look.
"What?" Kai asked innocently upon Yoona's instense gaze.
"What's your problem?" Yoona asked with a hint of annoyance. "Uh, I was spacing out. Sorry" Kai said while rubbing his nape and Yoona sighed before massaging her forehead. She doesn't want to ask him about what's going on inside his mind nor she wants to in, in Kai's life but seeing Kai be distracted and all is hard for her too.
"Let's just talk about this later.." Yoona said while gathering up all her things and Kai didn't speak a single word anymore. He just sighed as he watched her walked away.
On the other hand, Baekhyun and Taeyeon are both busy on the other wing of the library. They decided to split up so that the pairs can plan about their reports at ease and everyone decided to make it that way, Baekhyun was busily looking at the book and so as Taeyeon when his phone suddenly rang.
Taeyeon looked up and met his eyes and Baekhyun smiled. He opened the message that came and frowned as soon as he's done reading it, seeing the visible frown on his face made Taeyeon stop reading too.
"Mr. Jang emailed me something.." Baekhyun said and Taeyeon raised her brows. "He said that the reports should be realistic like we have to do it ourselves for real.." Baekhyun said as he showed the teacher's message to Taeyeon and Taeyeon on the other hand sighed before massaging her forehead.
"So it means that if we plan to report hope then we should make it realistic?" Taeyeon asked and Baekhyun slowly nodded his head. "He said take pictures and videos if possible.." Baekhyun said and Taeyeon sighed before nodding her head. As much as she wants to protest, the teacher already asked them to do so, so she can't complain.
"Alright.." Taeyeon said and Baekhyun looked at her worriedly.
"Are you sure? I can do this alone.." Baekhyun said and Taeyeon shook her head while giving Baekhyun a small smile.
"It's alright.. That's what a team does right?" Taeyeon asked and Baekhyun nodded his head. "I think I know where we can get a good cover but if that's okay with you" Baekhyun said unsure and Taeyeon stopped for a while thinking about it before nodding her head.
"Let's talk about this after class.." Taeyeon said as she smiled and Baekhyun nodded with her.

Walking lifelessly down on the school's corridor, Kai was drowned on his deep thoughts remembering yerterday's happenings. He kept blaming himself the night before knowing that if he didn't ask Baekhyu about the dare, Baekhyun wouldn't have been blinded by his anger in the past again.
"Let's stop it.." Kai said with a serious voice making Baekhyun get up from his seat.
"Stop it? I've started already.." Baekhyun said with much anger on his voice and Kai sighed. He should've planned about the dare earlier but things go out of hand, he never expected Baekhyun to take the dare seriously nor he expected Baekhyun to still be affected about his past.
"Baekhyun please.."
"I won't stop.." Baekhyun said firmly.
"I won't stop.." Kai remembered how Baekhyun said those words back when they were younger. It was just a few days after his mom's disappearance and Baekhyun built nothing but anger inside his heart towards his mom, he blamed her for everything that had happened to him and his dad and he despised every single woman who approaches him.
He all looked at them the same way, liars, cheaters. He was blinded by his anger towards his mom that he grew to despise everyone too, Baekhyun built a wall around his heart and Kai saw how his friend hardly survived the day with the anger building up inside him.
Kai pitied his friend, he knew Baekhyun was too young that time that he hated everyone just because of what he witnessed that day.
"But not all women are like your mom.." Kai defended and Baekhyun glared at him.
"THEY'RE ALL THE SAME AND I'M GOING LET THEM HURT TOO!" Baekhyun shouted desperately taking Kai by surprise. His anger, the anger inside his heart is unexplainable.
"No, Baekhyun.." Kai said and Baekhyun grabbed the picture frame that was on his desk before slamming it hard on the floor smashing it to pieces causing Kai's eyes to widen in disbelief. He never saw Baekhyun be this mad, he never saw Baekhyun throw anger like this.
"They're all the same and I won't let them hurt me just like how she hurted dad! They are no different with mom! You'll see one day, I can take my revenge for dad" Baekhyun said with his voice full of resentment towards his mom and as soon as he got to say those words, Baekhyun immediately left Kai in shock.
Did he really mean to take revenge? Kai thought.
Did he really mean that all women are like his mom? Kai wondered.
Will he really make her cry? Kai asked.
"Be careful!" A voice suddenly snapped Kai out of his thoughts and before he can react he already fell a flight of stairs down.
"Aw!"
