Becca's POV
It was our last night at the cabin and so far it had been fun spending the weekend with the gang. We had water fights and movie nights. We also went on hikes and played hide and seek in the woods. I almost got lost but I eventually found my way back. For today we didn't have much planned we were mostly just packing up getting ready to head back home. "Hey baby" Megan says as she walked into our room. "Hey" I say putting the last of my clothes in my backpack. "Still packing?" She asks "Yea but I'm almost done" I say "what about homework?" She asks "Done except for English but the teacher is a dumb bitch so she won't notice" I say "so after your done packing you want to play Call of Duty? We haven't used the game room the whole time we've been here!" She says "Hell yeah I wanna play Call of Duty but I'm about to whoop your ass Wilson!" I say "Bring it Wilson!" She says as we head to the game room. We both got controllers and started playing against eachother. "Ha boom headshot!" I cheered as I shot at one of her teammates. "Where are you babe?" I say as a grenade explodes and I'm knocked into a wall "What the hell?!?" I shout as I turn and see Megan's avatar about to shoot me I quickly shot at her and then she shot my head. "Dammit babe" I say "sorry babe but I had an opportunity and I went for it" she says "Alright let's play online now" I say as I logged onto my account. I invited Camila and Dinah to play. "Wassup kid!" I heard Dinah say through my headset "Hey Dinah how's New York?" I ask "It's great and Camz can't play she's on a date with Lauser" she explains "alright so it's just the 3 of us cool!" Megan says "Yea and I'm about to whoop your asses!" Dinah says "I now see how you two are related" Megan says "By blood no by personality yes" I say as the game started. Megan and I made a good team and together we took Dinah down. "Alright that was fun guys but I gotta go. Ally,Mani and I are going out for lunch" Dinah says "Okay say hi to the girls for me" I say "I will love you kid see ya soon" she says "Love you too bye" I say as she signed off. We had played a couple more games until we heard the others calling us. "Yoooo!!! What do you guys want?" I ask as we found them in the indoor pool "This!" Jamie and Jess say as they pick us up and were about to throw us in. "No no no guys not the deep end I can't swim!" I say as Jamie dropped me in. I held my breath and couldn't see anything I started freaking out. I tried to swim up but that didn't work. I started blacking out until I felt someone pull me to the surface. "I'm so sorry Becca I completely forgot that you couldn't swim" I heard Jamie say as she helped me out of the pool. "It's okay but shouldn't we start heading back home?" I ask "Oh shit yea your right! Um we're gonna be arriving pretty late so looks like we'll have to stay at a hotel halfway home and get some rest before heading back." Jamie says "Yea but we'll be back before A Period starts on Monday if we go right now" Jess says we all ran up to our rooms and packed our bags into the back of the car and quickly emptied the cabinet for snacks and drinks and all the necessary stuff for road trips. A couple of hours of singing at the top of our lungs later. "Okay guys we're at the hotel get some rest we leave later tonight" Jamie says we all nod tiredly going to our hotel rooms. As Megan and I got into our bed we both were staring at the ceiling. "Becca I don't think I've told you how much I love you" Megan says "Babe you don't have to I know you love me just like I love you" I say she smiles "I know but I want to" she says "Okay I'm listening" I say she gets on top of me. "I love staring into those blue eyes of yours,I love it when you daydream in class and I have to pull you out of it by smacking your arm, I love it when you're trying to figure out a math problem and you concentrate so hard that your nose scrunches up. I love that your lefty I love it when you play with my hair I love it when you wear flannels fuck it I just love everything about you" she says as she kisses me. It starts to get heated and I pull back and look at her. "Are you sure?" I say "I'm sure" she says as she pulls off my shirt and her own we both were in a bra and underwear by now when she started going down she stopped. "Babe is this a tattoo?" She asks oh shit "Yeah I'll explain it to you later." I say she nods and continues.
Flashback
"Hey babygirl you ready for your first day of school" my dad said I was only 5 years old and I was about to go to my first day of first grade. "Not really I'm nervous" I say my mom and dad were both pretty young when they had me. My mom was 16 while my dad was 17. My dad had blonde hair but blue eyes like mine while my mom had brown hair and greenish eyes. Explains why I have little green specks. "Let's go!" My mom yelled my mom never liked me very much. "Listen princess you are gonna be okay. You're going to walk through the doors with your head held high and confidently. Just be yourself Bec you're going to do amazing! I just know it." He says trying to boost my confidence. "I think I've got something that's gonna help you a little" he says he went into his room and came back with his favorite ring. "Your wrestling ring?" I say "That's right! You know when they gave me this I felt like I was on top of the world. I felt like nothing could beat me. And I'm giving this to you because that's how I want you to go through life. I want you to feel invincible. I want you to be the badass that you were born to be" he says I giggled as he put the ring on my left middle finger.
End of Flashback
As Megan and I laid in eachothers arms breathless. I thought about my dad and the speech he gave me. Although I didn't know it then those words would be the words I would live by because those were one of the last words my dad said to me. "So what is that tattoo on the side of your ribs" Megan says pulling me out of my thoughts. I sighed "it's my dad's signature. My real dad." I say "Why did you get it tattooed?" She asks "because out of both of my real parents my dad was the only one who cared about me. My mom was the one who left me on the streets. The only thing I have left of him is this" I say holding up the ring he gave me. "He said that he wanted me to walk through life like I was invincible and to grow up to be the badass I was born to be. Well I did that and then some. The point is I want to show him that I want to make him proud." I say "Baby I wish there was someway you could" she says "Me too." I say sadly. We got some rest and then we were on the road again. I had my headphones in the whole time though I couldn't stop thinking about my dad and how much I wish I could I see him again. Just one more time.
