Fourteen: The video

Dear Diary,

I really miss dance. I have to wait until September to begin my petite classes again with my friends. There are summer dance classes I could take, but they're for the much younger kids, and they don't really seem interesting. Ever since the dance recital ended I've been really bored with everything.
But, that's not really why I wanted to write on here. I wanted to write on here because Daddy M told me some exciting news. After school today, when I get home, Daddy M said he might put me and Daddy S in a video together! He hasn't said anything else yet but I'm excited! I can't wait until after school!

The school day went by really fast that day. Before I knew it, Daddy M was driving around the corner and pulling up to the front of the school to pick me up.

"Are we still doing the video?" I asked.
"Of course!" Daddy M responded. "Right after you do your homework!"
"That's not fair!" I pouted.
"It's perfectly fair!" Daddy M assured. "Because getting done your homework means it's done and out of the way and you, Daddy S and I can do this video together!"

I shrugged. In a way, he was right.

As soon as we got home, I carried my backpack upstairs and began doing my homework. Everything was easy, even the math. For some reason, I never rely on either of my Dads to help me with my work. I'm just able to figure things out on my own, which I kinda like doing.

About a half hour later, I was done with my homework. That was around the same time both of my Dads were ready to record. I became excited again as I was taken into the recording room. It was less roomy and a bit more cramped than I thought, but we were all still able to fit inside.

"Okay Em, you ready?" Daddy M asked.
"What do I have to do?" I asked.
"You'll see..." Daddy M responded. "In the meantime just act cute!"

I smiled. Daddy M then moved me in between both him and Daddy S before pressing record.

"Hello everybody my name is Markiplier and I am here with Jack and right here in the middle, is our beloved daughter, Emily!" Mark said.
"Hi!" I said, waving awkwardly to the camera.
"So today on this vlog, we are going to have Emily play a little game called, 'Who's the better Dad?'"

I looked at him awkwardly.

"What?" I asked.
"I told you she would be confused!" Daddy S laughed.
"Well, she won't be anymore because here's how we're gonna do it!" Daddy M said. He then looked at me. "We asked fans to tweet us random "who is better at..." Questions for you to respond to, and you have to be honest when responding, okay?"

I smiled awkwardly and nodded. I knew this would either go really good or really bad.

Daddy M then scrolled down to the first question.

@spnfreak0203: Who is better at cooking food?

I immediately pointed to Daddy S, who smiled back at me.

"That was too easy!" Daddy M responded.
"Because all I do is cook, you let me take the mornings off sometimes so you can make her cereal!" Daddy S said.
"Is he a good cook though, Emily?" Mark asked, looking down at me.
"He does make good spaghetti." I nodded.
"NYEH HEH HEH!" Daddy S said in his weird Papyrus voice.
"Yes, he talks like Papyrus when its Spaghetti night." Mark said to the web cam.

I giggled. Knowing that Daddy M was telling this to thousands of people was embarrassing but also funny at the same time.

Daddy S then scrolled down to the next question and read it aloud.

@kittylvr8924: Who is better at dressing you up for school?

I immediately pointed to Daddy M.

"That was too easy also!" Daddy S exclaimed.
"I'm surprised these questions aren't weird or inappropriate." Daddy M said.
"Because they know she's a child!" Daddy S assured.
"Well, I guess I would prefer that!" Daddy M said.

He continued scrolling down to some more questions. He then read another question aloud

@Mark_Cares: Who is better at beating a bully up?

Daddy S and Daddy M both laughed.

"We did have some bully issues in the past, but they've been taken care of in a non-abusive way." Daddy M explained, still laughing a bit. "But if we were to beat up somebody, who do you think would be better at it?"

I looked at both of them. Finally, I pointed to Daddy M.

"It's because he has those plus one biceps, isn't it?" Daddy S asked.
"Well, I'm more of the Dad in the group, you're more like the Mom!" Daddy M said.

I rolled my eyes. I've heard this type of argument before.

Daddy S then scrolled down and came across a question. He then read it aloud:

@JSE_Quotes: Who is better at loving the other person??

"Do I really have to answer this?" I asked.
"Yes!" Daddy M responded. "Yes you do!"

I then pointed to Daddy S immediately. He smiled, Daddy M just stood there shocked.

"Oh really?" Daddy M responded.
"Well, you did tell me that Daddy S was the first to admit feelings for you." I explained.
"Well, we've done things together, both good and bad, but..." Daddy M explained, but then he just paused and stopped talking.

Daddy M then scrolled down and came across another question.

@JackieSepticeye: Who is better at kissing you goodnight?

I smiled, pointing to the both of them. They both always kissed me goodnight almost every night since the day I was adopted. It still hasn't changed since.

After a few more questions and answers, Daddy S and Daddy M both ended the video. The three of us waved to the camera.

"Hey, I wanna do a blooper thing like you do in your videos." Daddy M asked.
"Sure, what do you want it to be?" Daddy S asked.
"Let's both kiss Em on the cheek on the count of 3." Daddy M said.

I blushed.

"One... Two... Three!" Daddy M said.

Both dads kissed my cheeks at the same time. Then afterwards, Daddy M pressed the button to stop recording.

"I'm gonna start editing this video if you don't mind." Daddy M said. "Since this will be on my channel."
"Want me to cook up some Spaghetti?" Daddy S asked me in his Papyrus voice.

I smiled and nodded.

4/2/20

Today was an awesome day! I got to be in my Dads video! It was a little weird at first, but I had so much fun! I hope to be in a lot of other videos in the future! Maybe be a future YouTuber myself!
