Dear Diary,

I couldn't have figured out anything better to do than to celebrate my sweet sixteen with family and friends in Disney! I was crowned a princess by Cinderella and everything. I even got to hang out with other friends that I never thought I would meet.
I guess I could tell you my annual birthday gift from Uncle Felix. It was a condom. It was in the envelope of my birthday card and he wrote "for your sexual desires". Of course my Dads took the condom away and probably threw it out. I give him credit for all these whacky gifts I get from him though.
On Monday, it's back to reality with school. Something I'm not looking forward to with all the makeup work I have, but at least I have something to talk about with Ava, Kelly and Dana.

That Sunday, I heard a knock on my door. Daddy S, Daddy M and I were kind of confused because we didn't expect any company, but Daddy S went and opened the door while me and Daddy M continued to watch a movie.

Several minutes have passed and Daddy S still hasn't come into the living room with whoever was at the door, so I decided to get up and see who it was.

As I approached the hallway to the door, I could hear Daddy S talking awkwardly with another woman. But her voice sounded all too familiar.

Daddy S looked behind him and noticed me standing there.

"Who are you talking to?" I asked.

Daddy S sighed and moved out of the way.

My eyes widened as I saw the woman's face.

It was Anna.

"Anna?" I asked, still in shock.
"Emily, hi!" She smiled as she hugged me tightly. "How have you been? You've grown into such a beautiful young lady."
"How did you get here?" I asked.
"I found your address through your adoption papers." Anna stated.
"What's going on?" I asked.

I looked at Daddy S and he shrugged as well.

"I know you're very confused right now." Anna explained. "But the only thing that I can actually say right now is... Your biological mother is here."
"What?" I asked.
"How do you know it's her?" Daddy S asked.
"We ran blood and DNA tests and everything and it all matched." Anna said.

I stood there in shock from what I heard.

My real mother was in Los Angeles, waiting at the adoption center, to speak with me. I had so many thoughts running through my mind, I didn't even know if I wanted to go.

"I don't know if I want to do this..." I choked, growing emotional.
"It's okay if you don't want to." Anna said. "But she's going to be here until Tuesday morning. So if you want to meet up with her, give us a call."
"O-Ok..." I nodded.

Anna then said goodbye before leaving. I still stood there trembling over the fact that my biological mom was only miles away from me. I was scared to go and actually see her. I didn't want to know what she looked like and why she gave me away. But at the same time I did.

Daddy M came down the hallway and saw the upset look on my face.

"What the hell happened?" Daddy M asked. "Who was at the door?"
"Mark, that was the woman we talked to at the adoption center when we first adopted Emily." Daddy S explained. "She says her biological mother is at the adoption center and wanted to speak to her."
"What?" Daddy M asked.
"I don't know what to do..." I said.
"Sweetie, you do whatever you think you should do." Daddy M responded.
"Remember what she said, your mother is in the city until Tuesday." Daddy S told me.
"But today is my only actual chance I can meet her." I explained. "And I don't want to do it tomorrow or Tuesday, because all I'll be thinking about is her and not my schoolwork."
"So are you saying you want to do it today?" Daddy M asked.

I hesitated for a moment, but then nodded.

"Okay, then we better get ourselves ready." Daddy M said.

Daddy M, Daddy S and I got dressed and got ready to go to meet my mother at the adoption center.

This was it. I was actually going to meet my mother.

Sorry the whole situation scenario kind of sucks (and sorry for once again leaving the chapter on a cliffhanger. It's my speciality XD)

More to come!
