Dear Diary,
Tomorrow is my last day of Sophomore Year! It's so weird how fast time has gone by! I'm officially a junior now in high school. This time next year I'm going to be a senior. How weird is that?

During the last day of school, I was taking down decorations from my locker and stuffing them in my backpack along with my books. While I was struggling to zip up my backpack, Dana came over to help out. He was able to get my bag to zip up properly without any problem."How are you able to do all this stuff?" I asked.
"I just can." Dana smiled.I smiled and changed the subject.
"So how does it feel knowing after the seniors graduate today you'll become a senior?" I asked.
"It's probably the most amazing feeling in the world." Dana smiled. "I never really thought that I would make it this far with what's been going on in my life."
"I'm proud of you." I told him.
"Thanks, Em." Dana smiled. "You've really helped me a lot since we first met in middle school."
"Really?" I asked.
Dana nodded, "I was very shy, very scared, had bad anxiety, and even though it sounds weird, you talking to me actually helped with all of that and I came out of my shell."I smiled. I didn't know I would be that much of an influence on somebody.
"Well, I'm glad I was able to help you." I responded.
"Listen, um..." Dana began, changing the subject, "I'm not sure whether you would be up to this kind of thing or not, but..."Dana then grew nervous. I could see that nervous sixth grade look on his face. It made me kind of nervous as well, but I stayed calm.
"I was wondering, if... we could be more than friends?" Dana asked.
My eyes widened and my heart raced. I've never been asked out before. And having two Dads, it kind of scared me. What if they wanted me to be the same way they were? How would they react if I told them?
I didn't even know whether to say yes or no to him. But after what he told me about him, and how I have helped him, I was scared to say no. Because what if somehow, I became the reason he goes bad again?
"Dana, I would love to go out with you." I began.
"Really?" Dana asked.I nodded and he embraced me and I hugged back. But deep down I was more nervous than ever now that I had said yes to him. What if my Dads disapprove?
---
That night, I was still really nervous to talk to my Dads about being asked out by Dana that I didn't eat my dinner. My Dads seemed to notice it too."Em, you okay?" Daddy M asked. "You usually scarf this food down your throat."
"I-I'm just not hungry tonight... That's all." I said.
"Em... You can talk to us, about anything." Daddy S said.
"But I'm scared... You might get mad." I said.
"Why? What happened?" Daddy M asked with a look of concern on his face.I was silent for a moment, what felt like hours and I hesitated a few times, but finally said it.
"Dana... Asked me out." I said. "And I said yes."
Daddy M's face went bright and he smiled.
"Why would we be mad about that?" Daddy M asked. "I think that's amazing!"
"Really?" I asked.
"Em, just because me and your father are gay, doesn't mean you have to be too." Daddy S explained. "You are who you are and that's all that matters."I smiled, breathing a huge sigh of relief.
"So, what's your first date gonna be?" Daddy M asked.
"I don't even know, we haven't even talked about it yet." I said.
"You two should do something fun! Like laser tag or something!" Daddy S exclaimed. "Something unforgettable!"
"What was your first date like?" I asked.
"Well, we rarely even saw each other since we both lived across the world from each other." Daddy M explained. "But when we saw each other at the conventions we attended, we made those days very special. And now every day is special since we're now married, with a beautiful daughter."
"And Chica?" I asked.
"Yes, Chica too." Daddy M nodded.
"Oh yeah, speaking of Chica, she left a little present in the bed upstairs." Daddy S stated.Daddy M then gave Jack a serious look.
"Well, thanks for letting me know now!" Daddy M exclaimed.
As Daddy M got up from the kitchen table, me and Daddy S looked at each other and smiled.
I finally felt good enough to eat my dinner. Which, like Daddy M had said before, I scarfed down my throat.

Dear Diary,
I guess it's safe to say now that me and Dana are more than friends now. I was scared to say anything at first, but after the conversation I had with Daddy S and Daddy M, I feel a lot better!

Dear Diary,
Dana and I had our first date today. We went to the nearby water park. I loved going there, I haven't been there in so long! We both had so much fun together and I'm glad it was just the two of us. Hopefully, me and my Dads can go there too sometime this summer!
