Dear Diary,

Tomorrow is Prom. May and I have gotten the okay to be going to prom now thanks to Dana. It will probably feel weird having to go through pre-prom stuff, especially with Dana's family since he is my ex, but I'm sure it's not going to be that bad. I'm trying not to sound negative and I want to make the best out of these next few days. I honestly can't wait to celebrate Prom with May. It's something we've been looking forward to since the beginning of the year. We promised ourselves we would make the best of it and not let anything get to us. I'm also looking forward to seeing what May is going to be wearing to Prom. She told me it was a surprise. I'm planning on wearing a Coral dress with spaghetti straps, since I do not do topless dresses. In conclusion, I can't wait! Lol!

The next day, we had a half day for school. As soon as class was dismissed, I headed straight home, where May and her aunts were already over my house getting ready.

"You're here already?" I asked.
"I didn't go to school." May smirked a smile. "I go to a different school so it's not required for me to be there the day of prom."
"Lucky you." I snickered.

One of May's aunts then took me and sat me down on a chair and began doing my hair. While that was happening, Daddy M and Daddy S came in with both video cameras and regular cameras. Daddy M had the video camera and was narrating everything while Daddy S just took pictures of me and May. May's parents took photos, but weren't as in our faces as my Dads. After getting our hair done, we got our makeup done. Then finally, it was time to get our dresses on. I decided to put on my dress downstairs while May decided to go upstairs to get dressed so she could make a dramatic entrance.

As I finally got my gown on and left the bathroom, Daddy S and Daddy M had their cameras all over me and we ended up taking pictures.

Eventually, Dana and his parents pulled up to the house. I felt nervous seeing his parents again, but they were surprisingly as welcoming as they were when we were going out.

They went around and took a few photos with me and him before Daddy S went upstairs to check on May.

"Madame May is ready!" Daddy S announced.

I giggled as he ran down the stairs to get his camera ready. I actually got excited and my heart started racing as I saw May walk down the stairs with a baige colored prom dress with sparkles and diamonds all around above the chest and neck area.

I smiled. She looked beautiful.

"I love it!" I smiled.
"I love your dress too!" May smiled back.

Suddenly, there was a swarm of cameras as May's parents, May's aunts, Dana's parents and my Dads took a dozen photos of me, Dana and May. Then, we spent about what felt like a half hour taking photos with each parent. Finally, Dana and his parents stepped aside as May's parents, aunts and my Dads took photos of me and May.

After finally being able to sit and relax for a few moments, I looked out the window and gasped as I saw a limousine pull up to the front of the house.

"A limousine?" I said.
"What?" May asked.
"We all pitched in and rented a limousine for your prom night." Daddy S claimed.
"SURPRISE!" One of May's aunts cheered.
"Thank you guys so much!" I exclaimed in astonishment as May and I both hugged them.
"Well, you guys better start heading over there!" Daddy M suggested.
I smiled, "Alright. That sounds like a plan!"
