Dear Diary,

I'm worried about my Dads. Something has happened to them that had to do with their YouTube channels. YouTube literally took their channels off of the website, along with Uncle Felix, Uncle Bob, Uncle Wade, and everybody else! I hope this problem gets fixed soon!

I woke up that day like usual. I would get up, check my statuses on Twitter and tumblr for a bit (yes I finally got my own phone), stretched myself out and then went downstairs.

However, when I got downstairs, I noticed Daddy S sitting at the kitchen table, red from crying and Daddy M, who was also red from crying, but patting his shoulder.

"W-What happened?" I asked.

Daddy S immediately looked up and realized I was awake.

"Oh, good morning Emily," Daddy S said, trying to grin through his tears.
"What's wrong?" I asked.

Daddy M and Daddy S had me sit at the table with them. I was scared, immediately thinking of family and friends.

"Em, you know how we have our jobs online we YouTubers right?" Daddy M asked. I nodded. Daddy M then sighed again, "well, it seems like those days may be over..."
"What?" I asked, "How?"
Daddy M shrugged, "I have no idea. We just both woke up this morning and went on YouTube and we were told our channels have been shut down."
"Does it say why?" I asked.
Daddy M shook his head, "none of us have any idea why. This isn't happening to just us, it's happening to Uncle Felix, Uncle Bob, Uncle Wade, basically anybody who makes a living off of YouTube."
My jaw dropped, "that's terrible! Why are they doing this to you guys all of a sudden?"
"I wish we knew," Daddy M shrugged, "Hopefully, we'll get a response within the next few days."
"What will happen in the future?" I asked.
"This just means that we'll have to try and go into the real world and find a job." Daddy M responded.

I went over and hugged Daddy S, who hasn't spoken a word about the whole situation.

"I'm sorry, you guys..." I said, "I love you..."
"We love you too, Em..." Daddy M said.

Dear Diary,

My Dads still haven't gotten a response from YouTube about the whole situation with their channels being shut down. They've tried making new channels, but they wouldn't let anybody make new ones. Apparently, they're being sued by most YouTubers, including my Dads who were invited to take place in this lawsuit, because of the situation for an undisclosed amount of money. It's such a shame that this is happening to everybody in the YouTube community. They don't deserve this, especially my Dads, who are two hardworking people who love doing their jobs.

Dear Diary,

Happy 13th birthday to me! I wouldn't have sounded this excited if good news hadn't had come along since this whole incident occurred, but great news has come out of this!
First off, YouTube plead guilty in the case and they're giving money to every YouTuber affected by this situation, which is basically thousands of dollars to hundreds, maybe even thousands of YouTubers. This will probably affect the company majorly and maybe shut them down altogether. Even though I thought my Dads didn't like that idea, they loved it, which leads me to my next reason.
My Dads were able to find actual jobs! Daddy S works at an Apple Store, who gladly accepted him as part of their crew. According to what Daddy S had told me, they said they felt terrible about the situation that he was going through. I hope that's not the case and not to use him working their as an excuse for their place to be mobbed with people. I've been used as an excuse before and it's not fun.
Anyways, Daddy S saw this as an advantage because he knew how to work computers and such beforehand, so hopefully it would work out for him.
Daddy M actually gets to stay at home most of the time with his job. He basically gets to send e-mails from one person to another. It's supposed to sound easy, right? Not really. He gets thousands of e-mails the days he has to go online, and sometimes it crashes his computer.  It takes all day as well. He's gotten used to it though. And after all that work, he's off for the rest of the week. However, once a month he actually goes into work several days and once a year, he'll be going to New York for a week. It sucks that we won't see him much around those times, but he says he loves his job, and at least he gets to travel, so I'm not going to complain about it at all.
As for me, I'm 13, so I obviously can't get a job yet for another few years, but I've helped support my Dads by joining a community service club. It's kind of like a job for kids who really need some money during troubling times. I didn't need to go their much, but when I did, I either worked in the cafeteria or I went out back to the wooded area to help pick up trash. I would rather do the cafeteria any day.
Anyways, I have to go. My Dads are taking me out for my thirteenth birthday. Everyone is going to be there, so it should be fun.

Dear Diary,

Uncle Felix gave me another "toy" for my birthday....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
AUTHOR'S NOTE
Obviously I don't have anything against YouTube. I just made this chapter because I know in the Epilogue of my first story Sean and Mark explain how YouTube "screwed them over", so I decided this is how I would have that happen!
And now, since this chapter was kind of left on a cliffhanger, here's my question for you!
What do you think Uncle Felix gave Emily for her thirteenth birthday this time?
