Uncle Ryan began driving down to the police station. May and I were still recovering from crying, but we both were still shaken up, incredibly worried about our families.

"I hope we can get Daddy M and Daddy S out..." I said.
"We'll get them out, Em don't worry..." Uncle Ryan assured me. "We'll try and see if we can get May's parents and aunts out as well."
"What if we can't?" May asked.
"Then you can stay over my house until they can be released." I said.
"Are you sure?" May asked.
"Yes." I nodded.

A couple minutes later, we pulled up to the police station. Uncle Ryan, May and I immediately entered the station.

"Hi, I'm here to pick up Sean McCloughlin and Mark Fischbach if I can, please." Uncle Ryan stated.
"State your acquaintance..." The officer at the front desk demanded.
"I'm Ryan, I'm a family friend." Ryan said. He pulled out his wallet to prove his identity,

The officer nodded and called up the other side of the station to have Daddy M and Daddy S released.

"They'll be out any minute." The officer stated.
"And what about as far as this little girls parents and aunts?" Uncle Ryan asked.
"They cannot be released unless by an official family member or close relative." The officer stated.
"You're kidding me..." Uncle Ryan stated. "This girl is ten years old and has both of her parents in there!"
"Sir, they will at least have to be in there for 24 hours before they can be released with a fine." The officer stated.

We all looked over at May.

"I-I guess I can wait that long..." May assured.
"Are you sure?" Uncle Ryan asked. May nodded.

Moments later, Daddy M and Daddy S were both brought out by other security guards. I immediately ran over to them and hugged them tightly.

"I'm sorry, baby girl..." Daddy M said, hugging me tightly. "I was so worried about leaving you behind."
"I'm just glad you left your phone in there!" Uncle Ryan said.
"Yeah, me too..." Daddy M said.
"What about May?" Daddy S asked.
"She'll have to wait 24 hours to see her family again unless another member of her family comes to release them." Ryan explained.
"Do you know any family members who live nearby?" Daddy M asked May.
"Not besides my aunts unfortunately..." May said, shaking her head.
"It's okay, I already told her that you guys would probably let her spend the night with you guys." Uncle Ryan said.
"Of course!" Daddy S nodded.

Uncle Ryan, May, Daddy M, Daddy S and I then left the police station. We dropped Uncle Ryan off to get his car from the parking lot before heading back home.

"Do you guys have fines too?" I asked.
"Yeah, at least $250 for both of us." Daddy M explained. "For 'disturbing the peace' apparently."
"It wouldn't surprise me if Gina was in there and waiting to call the cops." Daddy S stated.
"Me neither..." Daddy M agreed. "But at this point, there's nothing more we can do except watch her lose her business at the studio."
"I just wish there was another studio around here we could go to..." May sighed.
"Maybe we can make our own!" I suggested. "We can make up our own dances and show them off to our families! Everything would be free!"
"That's a cute idea, Em!" Daddy S smiled. "'Maybe we can do that someday!"

May and I looked at each other and giggled, excited that hopefully, we can do that one day.

As we pulled up to the house and went inside, Daddy M immediately grabbed the pizza menu.

"Whose hungry for some pizza?" Daddy M asked.
"You're seriously thinking about pizza right after we got released from prison?" Daddy S asked.
"Hey, we wouldn't be having pizza tonight if we were still at that station." Daddy M said. He immediately looked at May. "No offense, May."
"It's okay..." May said. "I'm actually kinda hungry."
"Me too!" I said.

With that in mind, Daddy M ordered a large pizza for all four of us to eat. After it got delivered to our house, we each had at least 4 slices of pizza before becoming full and almost sick to our stomachs.

May and I immediately went upstairs afterwards to watch TV and listen to some music. Halfway through however, May became upset again.

"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I just wish my parents and aunts weren't in jail right now..." May responded. "I know they'll only be there for 24 hours, but I bet they're already being tortured."
"They won't be tortured!" I assured them. "They're just being looked after for the next day. And besides, don't think about the fact that you're here because they're spending the night there, think about this as just being a regular sleepover!"
"Yeah... I guess..." May said.

May and I continued to listen to music. One of the songs that came on we decided to make up our own dance to. We kept replaying the song over and over again, making up our own routines.

After finally coming up with the finishing touches, we decided to show Daddy M and Daddy S. Of course they both liked it, and I was kind of happy we did it.

Maybe we can have our own little dance recital after all.

We decided to finish off the night by watching some TV. As we were watching TV, I wrote in my journal.

Dear Diary,

Today was a very unexpected day. We were invited to a protest over at the dance studio when Daddy M and Daddy S got arrested along with May's parents and aunts. Luckily, Uncle Ryan got Daddy S and Daddy M out, but we couldn't get May's parents or her aunts out. But they'll be out in less than a day.
It's not all that bad though, May is sleeping over my house until they can be able to release her family. We did our own little routine and performed our own recital in front of my Dads. They loved it. They thought it would be a great idea to have our own recitals right at our own homes! It would be free and nobody would be judging us, and that's exactly what May and I want! That'll show Mrs. Gina!

The next day, at around 3 in the afternoon, we got a call saying that May's parents and aunts were released. We immediately went over to the station to get them. May had never been so happy to see her family in her life.

"Thank you so much for taking care of my daughter while we were in there." May's mom smiled.
"It's no problem." Daddy S assured. "It looks like it got May's mind off of the whole situation."
"Yeah, we performed our own dance routine and showed them to her Dads! They loved it!" May explained. "We should do that stuff more often!"
"We'll see if we can!" May's mom said.

May and her family went with us to get there car that was still in the parking lot of the studio, thankfully untouched.

May and her family then waved goodbye to us as they drove off back to their house.

"Okay, let's promise to never do anything like that again!" Daddy S stated.
"Believe me, I've learned my lesson!" Daddy M nodded.

We then pulled out of the studio and headed home.

Dear Diary,

May was happily reunited with her family today and she shared her ideas with her parents about having our own recitals at our houses. She seemed to like the idea, but it would all depend on the plans we had.
Anyway, that was my weekend. Tomorrow I go back to school, where hopefully this week is better than last week.
