Aliona's P.O.V

The next day I woke up with the aching hunger still raging inside of me. As I got out of bed, I noticed my cheerleading uniform on the side of my dresser and my eyes widened as I remembers what day it was. We had our first game of the season and as one of the cheerleading squad members, I had to attend to do our routine. Great.

After getting ready for the day, I slipped out of the door and out to find some way of relieving this burning desire.

I had to try and control it, otherwise I fear for anybody who gets in my way.

I walked around for a bit until I realised I was heading in the direction of the cemetery again. It was like an unconscious decision that I always made and ended up regretting as it only surfaced old memories.

"Why do you always come back here?" Damon's voice surprised me as I turned to walk the other way.

"Why are you so nosy?" I sassed back despite Damon's location remaining unknown.

"No but seriously Ali, you come back here a lot. Why?" Damon emerged from behind a tree that stood next to me, causing me to jump again.

"Why should I tell you?" I spat at him but being Damon, he didn't flinch.

"I was just asking, and I was also wondering something." Damon's words caused me to raise an eyebrow.

"What?" I asked inquisitively.

"It's really important so come closer." He nearly whispered, I rolled my eyes at him as I walked over to him.

"Damon we're in the middle of the forest, nobody's going to hear us." I grumbled.

"Okay okay, so you know how you always visit the cemetery or if I'm being more specific then our family tomb."

"Yeah what are you getting at?" I asked in confusion.

"Well I don't know if you think they're going to come back to life and walk out of that tomb anytime soon sis. So I just wanted to give you some wisdom; no matter how many times you visit there, the people buried aren't going to make an appearance." He taunted me and laughed slightly as I sighed out a deep breath and pushed at his chest.

"Go to hell Damon, you're not funny." I snapped and stomped towards the tree line in a desperate attempt to get away from my brother.

"Okay Ali, wait up! I didn't mean to upset you." He chuckled as I rolled my eyes at his annoying behaviour. "So have you got the whole ripper problem under control yet?" He asked and as soon as he said the words, I could feel my hunger taking over.

"N-no, not yet." I groaned. "And don't call it a ripper problem, I'm not Stefan." I grumbled at him as he held his hands up in defence.

"Okay fine whatever." He shrugged. "Need any help with it?"

"No I'm fine." I spoke angrily again.

"You sure about that? Because I'm pretty sure that the body count is still rising and -"

"Just leave it Damon, I'm fine." I almost shouted in his face this time and he honestly looked slightly surprised.
