Aliona's P.O.V

"Why are we back here?" I asked, looking around the bleak motel that we'd previously been staying at.

"I need to understand why my hybrids didn't work, I also have some other business to attend to." Klaus explain as we walked up to one of the doors, he knocked and waited. "Let's just call it killing two birds with one stone."

"Ali?" Stefan questioned, opening the door and glaring at Klaus.

"Nice to see you too Stefan." Klaus chuckled as he glanced between us in confusion. "You're needed I'm afraid. Complications with the whole hybrid matter." Stefan glanced at me and raised an eyebrow.

"Don't look at me, I don't know why he needs you too." I shrugged at him, Klaus shook his head with a small laugh.

"The two of you need to learn to stop asking so many questions." Klaus sighed. "Come on, let's go." I turned and followed Klaus to the car, looking behind me to see Stefan also following.

"What are we doing here?" I groaned, glancing around at the familiar streets as we drove through the city of Chicago.

"Don't you remember it love?" Klaus smirked as I shuddered, Stefan gave me a confused look.

"I try not to." I replied, trying to blink away the memories of so much destruction.

"What about you Stefan?" Klaus asked as my head snapped up to look at him in confusion.

"It's all a blur, just lots of blood and parties. No details." He shrugged, I stared at him curiously.

"Is this when you were a-a..." My voice trailed off as Stefan nodded grimly.

"You've had your fair share of ripper sprees too Aliona, don't deny it." Klaus chuckled, Stefan's face dropped as I swallowed hard. I turned away to avoid his burning gaze. "Stefan you should have seen her, the wild you would be proud, she was ruthless."

"That was your doing."I spoke harshly, looking back out of the window with a sigh.

"Chicago was magical Stefan, for both of you." Klaus spoke, however Stefan frowned and shook his head.

"I'll take your word for it, like I said I don't remember much." Stefan shrugged it off.

"Down to business then." Klaus sighed.

"Yeah why am I still here? Your hybrids didn't work, we had our fun..."

"We're going to see my favourite witch." Klaus cut me off as we pulled over, parking the car before stepping out. Night was settling over the city fast as we followed Klaus' lead. "If anyone can help us with out hybrid problem, it's her."

We approached on old looking building, it was so familiar.

"Do you remember it love?" Klaus asked with a smirk, turning to me as I frowned.

"We killed a lot of people here Klaus." I whispered, Stefan appeared to gulp as Klaus' smirk only widened.

"What about you Stefan?" He asked as we walked inside, it used to be one of the best bars in town. Always lively and always filled with delicious people, the thought made my gums twitch. I hadn't fed in a while.

"Used to be one of my hotspots too." Stefan nodded, looking around in amazement. "I'm surprised it's still here."

"You gotta be kidding me." A voice spoke as we turned to see who it was.
